At the start of my review Google reviews was already showing 4/5 for chaos lab. I definitely agree with the google reviews of 4/5 for this establishment. The activities are definitely interesting, but somewhat limited. All up there is about 11 activities (maybe one or two more I'm missing). These were: 1. There is a room at the very beginning, all I noticed was these walls of light and a button to light them up. Wasn't sure what they were supposed to do as the kids walked past this room pretty quickly. Not sure what else goes on in that space. 2. Very short mirror maze, which is too easy really as there is more roof covering, so you just need to look up if ever you're confused. 3. A light board with pegs in it. Kind of cool, requires a lot of creative ability. 4. There is a bodiless head illusion table. 5. Magnetic tube run, 6. A sand light interactive pit. Basically you change the level of the sand, which makes the light change colour depending on the height of the sand. The three colours are blue to show water, green to show ground level, and reddish to show volcanic areas. 7. There is a glow pen wall board area, where you draw on the board with glow in the dark pens. But not many pens provided (maybe kids steal them?). 8. Two slime interactive areas. This is actually pretty cool cause the kids get to keep some of the slime and take it home. 9. A interactive wall thing where when you swipe it one way it shows a certain colour, then swipe opposite way another colour appears. 10. Then there's a peg string board, basically you can make images by tying the strings around the pegs. And lastly 11. A medium sized ball pit. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can probably spend up to an hour solid here. Kids are $33 at the time of writing this review, adults $11. I think the price is slightly expensive. I think maybe $25 for kids makes more sense. You could increase the price for adults slightly actually cause adults get involved a fair bit. Solis 4/5, "above average" experience. Main concern is cost.

Over priced and hype of nothing, maybe because I had higher expectations for such a pricey venue? The ‘presentations’ at the start were interesting but a major missed opportunity to involve kids. Kids just sit and listen to techy terms. The hyped up ‘slim’ activity was manned by one staff so kids would be waiting ages for their turn - again a missed opportunity could be more engaging if run at same time talk/explain and kids all copy step by step. Ball pit was the last and kids stayed the longest, but only because the other stuff were so boring. On leaving, passing by a staff manning the front counter who seem to be bored out of her mind, couldn’t even bother to smile or say bye to the customers. “We’ll, that was a waste of time” my 6yo said to me after we came out.

Very nice place for kids. It has a small science show for kids. The presenter really engaged with the kids and made it fun. It has plenty of other interesting activities. Kids loved the pool which was filled with balls. The pool colour was changing and gave a very nice look everytime. Even though the place has many other activities, kids wanted to spend most of their time in the pool.

I found it quite great tbh. It is an 1h/1h30m activity so if you go expecting to stay the whole day you will be disappointed. With that said it offer more entertainment than any other kids venue in Melbourne in my opinion.

A one time visit for young kids (3-9 years old). Lots of fun activities, the slime making workshop and the ball pool are the highlights of this place. A little pricy for the activities.

We had heaps of fun, we had kids aged 1yo to 9 and everyone loved it including the toddlers. So much to do, heaps of tactile experiences (we also attended as a large group of 14) highly recommend

The kids had fun. Running to and from each section in each room. There were quite a few hands-on experiences, such as making slime, a lighted ball-pit, and a few others. The kids also got their another slime in a container at the end. I just felt it was missing something, but I'm not sure what it was. Maybe it needed another 'wow' experiment, like the elephant's toothpaste, at the end.

Kids enjoyed Chaos Lab ,staff we’re definitely helpful, some fun things such as making slim , venue seemed very busy , ball pit was definitely the winner for the kids , personally I think the chaos lab needs more activity’s for the kids to engage in … And also the maze could be more challenging…. Overall Kids 8/10 Adults 5/10

The kids had so much fun the entire 3 hours in there and refused to leave. Haha They also manage to learn some awesome mix of chemicals and how to make their own slime.
