The worst motel/ accommodation experience ive ever had and ive travelled to 3rd world countries. I booked for 2 nights,as I live in the sticks and was doing a weekend course in Mordialloc. The room was stinking hot and the air on was ancient, leaking water all night onto the single bed. I had to move this and put a bin under the air-conditioning,which was right next to a power point.Told the manager next day and they didn't seem bothered. The most concerning part was the clientele. People yelling, screaming and im sure,on substances. I had to go downstairs when I heard the commotion and ask the bloke on the desk if he was going to do something. There were all these young ppl, running along the upstairs balcony, punching on and screaming abuse beyond what was tolerable to an average person. It was frightening. He finally called police when asked but another resident already had. He couldn't have given a stuff. There were people partying all night and coming and going as they pleased. Not to mention the noise of the highway...Thank God I had earplugs. Needless to say I ended up leaving at 7am on Sunday and forfeitted my course,as I wasn't in a fit state to attend, due to anxiety and sleep deprivation. The last straw was a cockroach on my pillow. An absolute disgrace and looks like it has been this way for years. Someone needs to inspect this joint, seriously. If you don't value your safety,go right ahead and stay here. If there was a zero,I'd give it

Our double room was nice. We had everything we needed, including a kettle, microwave, and toaster. Some cutlery may have been useful to go alongside the appliances but this was no bother to us. The outside does look a little tired, but our room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman on reception was polite and helpful. We were located beside the main road, but I brought earplugs and slept well. The location is good with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

I suppose you get what you pay for. Booked a family room. No elevators so had to lug the suitcases up a narrow staircase. Inside the only positive I have is that the bed was comfortable. Heating was a space heater in main room and a reverse cycle in kids room. Kids window has a sheet stapled over it as curtains which blocked zero light. The actually light didn't even work. Main bedroom had blinds that should have been replaced a decade ago they were so worn, and the same goes with the carpet - this was putrid and sticky. The paint was peeling off the walls and doors. Shower was so small we had to shower with the door open to move, and there was no temperature regulation. Rooms have little to no soundproofing meaning you could hear anything and everything that was happening around you. A little bit of effort and this place has potential, but we were glad it was only a one night stay.

Comfort bed and clean room. Completed with microwave and ironing board. An easy late check in. the room's fridge was made noise sounds all night long. High traffic noise from the highway that cannot be controlled. Restless 1 night stay. I knew it this is going to be happened, no other choice to stay as I have to do professional development closed by.

Old and decaying. Rooms were really big but everything is getting old and uncomfortable. Windows wouldn't shut properly. Light globes were removed from a lot of sockets so it was very hard to read at night. Noisy. Very very noisy.

The advertised photos are not representative of the quality of the rooms. Gardens overgrown and neglected, litter laying around the car park, officious staff at reception, worn carpet, chipped paint and hard beds. What was good? 🤔 It was cheap.

We are frequent visitors to the Parkdale. On this occasion we were late arriving but the management made full arrangements that we could go to our room without any delay.

Great room, very spacious, a comfortable bed and very clean, the bathroom was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend parkdale moter inn to anyone looking for something clean and comfortable and close to beaches and restaurants and only a quick ride into the city.

We had to bring our dog down for an emergency appointment. It was 11.30pm when I called and was advised that they didn’t do 24 hour checkin as we wouldn’t be there till 4.30am. Shane, who I spoke to on the phone, asked the reason for the late check in to which I explained we have to get our dog Margot to a Melbourne specialist for treatment and a CT scan at 8.30am the next morning and my husband would need sleep. He kindly offered the late check in for us and checked my husband in at 5.30am. We couldn’t be more appreciative to Shane for the extra effort he went to help us out and based on customer service, regardless of anything else, we highly recommend staying here. Thanks Shane so much for everything.

Horrible rooms and extremely noisy air-conditioning. Worst experience ever. If there was a way to choose minus star, I would definitely do that.

Has Lot of undesirables there. Felt unsafe so only stayed two nights while I looked for something less like social housing.

A friend had the unfortunate experience of spending a night here. $130 for an outdated room that reeked of cigarettes. The guy at reception was also dismissive.

Very affordable and comfortable, stayed for F1 2023, very warm during a cold weekend. I could have used some cutlery in the room, but the receptionist was helpful in sourcing some for us.

Just got here and already want my money back. Bathroom is dodgy, sliding door doesn't roll well. Staff tried to make me pay twice for my booking and then pay a further fee. Location is handy. That's the only positive. Will not be back .

I rarely post reviews but i do when it is warranted having travelled extensively around the world for many years in 4⭐ hotels .Price you are paying here you actually will not find anywhere else locally (as i checked).Safe parking/rooms very modernly furnished/modern bathroom/rooms~ self contained :(TV/ wifi/microwave, fridge & excellent housekeeping services/close to shops). The Owner & the Manager extremely friendly & helpful.Highly recommend-excellent for the price(*plus extremely good Indian restaurant on the premises)

Lots of negative reviewers seem to have anticipated an upscale hotel experience and no, this is a suburban highway motel, you get a room, bed, bathroom, and aircon at a good price. Staff was direct which might be mistaken for rudeness but I appreciated it. The Delhi Club restaurant on the ground floor is exceptional by the way.

Pity the grounds of the motel aren't as good and clean as the interior of the room we stayed in. This would make a HUGE improvement. Very reasonable inside and reasonable price. Door catch needs adjusting, as door kept banging with the wind...until I shoved our suitcase up against it!

Reasonable location, there is a cafe across the road, park close by (1 block away on Queen street) for the kids and it wasn't too far to walk to train station. The room was big enough, and clean. It has a toaster, microwave, kettle and a few plates and cups. Parking is easy to access from Potts Street. I accidentally booked this place for a night longer than needed, but the reception staff were helpful in contacting the booking company and cancelling the extra night.

Clean and safe. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms were somewhat dated. The staff seem friendly and helpful when you ask them for something. The room was spacious.
