Great place for the family, heaps to do. Best park in the north. Play ground with heaps of equipment, basketball court, futsal court, skatepark, big grass area to kick the footy, free bbqs with tables undercover, enclosed dog yard and a large car park. What else could you want..

A very well equipped playground with play areas and equipment for all ages. Skate ramp, flying fox, climbing teepee, bbq, shelter, swings, tunnels, walking paths, outdoor gym exercise equipment, toilet. Has lots to offer and great potential But needs better landscaping to create a truly magical and fun experience.

Attended Dinosaur 🦖 expo with kids. Kiddies loved it 🥰 , also attended the live reptiles show at the same venue, lots of different snakes 🐍, lizards 🦎, female crocodile 🐊 etc.

Fantastic medium to large sized park. So many activities and facilities: large playground; swings; flying foxes; skate park; full length basketbwell court; BBQs; sheltered seating; public toilets; car parking etc. and a significant open grassed area for sport too.

A lovely Lantern Festival display. Lots of families enjoying the park and the entertainment there. The queues to buy food alternated from long to short during the time I was there.

This is a fantastic playground for kids of all ages. There are three flying foxes (one for little toddlers, and two for big kids and adults), a dual rope climbing structure connected by a rope 'bridge', lots of swings, pretend ships for climbing and running, two skate parks for differing skill levels, and a separate BMX course with three jumps. There are separate exercise stations around the park, as well as BBQs with cover. Great for families. Basketball court as well.

Simple yet enjoyable park and playground with great undercover picnic and sausage cooking facilities. Always clean. Lovely place to hang out & play. Fenced off so if you have little runners it’s safe. Have a lovely time.

This is my favorite park! Perfect for kids and family, and everyone. Picnic or BBQ. They’ve got everything like a free public bike repairing hub, basketball court, football section, skateboard park, a big playground and a gated dog park!! Being here on a sunny day surrounded by lovely families is one of the best feelings. P.s on some afternoons (I think maybe only weekends?) the ice cream truck will make a visit

A great park. Heaps of playground equipment for smaller kids, plenty of swings and slides. Also has a full size basketball court, futsol field and a pretty good sized skate park including a dual pit skate bowl. There is also shaded tables and heaps of bbqs.

Toilet needs a bit clean

This is a really good outdoor space / playground for a family picnic or a day out. There are plenty of BBQs and good sized sheds overhead at those bbq places. Plenty of playground equipment for all ages. Climbing ropes, rotary boat ⛵ play equipment, security cameras overlooking the play areas and bbq areas. There are two zipline, one for toddlers and one for kids aged 4 and above. There is also a newly built skateboard area and a caged futsal area where kids of every age and grown ups can have plenty of fun, all day long. A very family friendly place and good for birthdays and kids and families gatherings.

Great park. Has everything. Basketball court, small soccer field, open park land to play sports, walking/ running trail, kids playground, random outdoor gym areas, bicycle maintenance stand, dog park, toilets, barbeques and seating and benches, skate park

The lantern festival was such a beautiful experience ❤️ my family loved it.. everything was so well organised and the lanterns were so wonderfully made and insta worthy 😍😍 loved the ambience, the flying insects on sticks were really interesting 💕 loved the dance and music performance by the Indigenous community ❤️❤️ Will visit again next year ❤️

Avoid the dog park if your a responsible dog owner, a lot of dog owners walk in, let their dog of lead and sit down on their phone paying no attention to their dog. A lot of dog aggression and attacks. Can be a bit sketchy at times.

Beautiful local park, suitable for kids and dogs to play in a safe covered area. Bike shed is open every Thursday for people who need to fix or swap their bikes.

Went to the off leash dog park and my dog was attacked luckily the owner managed to contain their dog before my dog was hurt. Please if you're dog is not suitable to be off leash then don't let them off leash at a dog park with other dogs around! Park is a bit filthy with rubbish, there are bins almost at every corner ppl please stop littering.

Good playground with equipment for kids of all ages. The flying fox is terrible though - too high for kids to get on by themselves and even small kids bump along the ground when it goes. Needs to be fixed. The rest of the park has a skate bowl, walking/cycling park around the edge, toilets, BBQs and lots of space for running around and kicking a ball.

My sons favourite park to play on. Lots of grassy area to run around or sit under a tree on a nice day. Dog park is only around corner too

Awesome park with plenty of activity for kids, adults and pets. 4 bbqs under 2 covered areas available, kids play ground with generous equipments, a separate park for dogs with doggy taps, play items and garbage bins, basketball court, soccer cage, roller skating and fitness equipment with a bike shed available.

Very spacious park - almost like a Heidelberg version of Thomas st Reserve! Lots of cool playground equipment + lots of sport and picnic places and even some public bathrooms.

This is a large, safe, well-maintained, public park with many different areas, including a fenced dog park, as well as a bike repair shed which is open one afternoon a week. Check with Banyule Council for details. Malahang has safe play areas for small children, and excellent playground equipment, including a flying-fox for kids to ride on. The reserve is used for public festivals and other gatherings - there are barbecue facilities and public toilets. My only complaint is that from October to March it's extremely hot and we could do with more shade trees.

Lovely park, but needs to be cleaned, rubbish everywhere, bins always overflowing with rubbish, the smell in the undercover area with the BBQS is disgusting.

Because family's can have BBQ's ,all ages play grounds from toddlers to teenagers ,flying fox, skate park and also children with disabilities can play too and then there's work out equipment for adults and the serious fitness fanatic

Cool but not very clean

This has a funky cool playground & skate park for children. BBQ sheltered areas, water, toilets, bins & a bicycle repair station. Enjoy bringing my dog here, lots of running space, needs mowing😁. there is a fenced dog area, but terribly muddy & soggy when wet weather.
