Decided to pop in for a quick lunch. Mixed meat platter 2 was ordered and arrived pretty quickly. All the meat was delicious. Seasoned well and hot. We sat outside so I can’t comment on the ambience however I will return and update this review.

Unbelievable. I am very fussy where I eat as I am Italian background. After Italian, Macedonian is my favourite food. Food made by Macedonians and what an atmosphere.....as if I am in Europe. This is what so many European restrauants can learn from. One of the best places I have eaten at in Melbourne.

The best grill in the town. Make sure you try the fried cheese and their homemade Tulumbi (sweets). I highly recommend to everyone to visit this authentic Macedonian bar and grill ! We will be back!!!!

Came for dinner but we hadn't booked.The staff did a great job to find us a table considering they were fully booked. The food was amazing we had the mixed grill and the sarma. The atmosphere was buzzing with everyone having a good time. Our waiter Blazko was fantastic who made our experience memorable. Highly recommended this Macedonian restaurant.

inside this hidden GEM of a Restaurant, there is Epten Too Good Vibe of HomeLand - the most important Formative Years for a Human. Ćevapi are best in town, soft juicy well baked, and famous Shopska Salad is fantastic schtrumfastic!!!! due to respect for others while I am driving, did not try cold, sun yellow Rakija or 40% Brandy, but cakes are so soft and made with lots of SouL. Bravo Mister Žegov.

Such delicious food and fun service. Start your meal with a cabbage salad and rakia! The cabbage rolls are a must! The the roast chilli's in oil with garlic are perfect with the meat mains. The waiters will take good care of you if you have no experience with this kind of cuisine. They were shocked we ate and drank so much. The quality of their ingredients and cooking although rich, not too heavy. Definitely a good night out with friends.

Great Macedonian cuisine. Dined here again - and WOW! hospitality & service was amazing. Delicious food, meat flavorsome & cooked to perfection. Salads loaded with flavour and every other side dish was of high quality and taste. I've been here numerous times and have taken many friends here too, without a doubt, never disappointed. Always leave with a full belly and satisfied feeling. 👌 highly recommended, give it a go.

Came to a zegov tonight for a friend birthday, not only was the food amazing but the atmosphere was the icing on the cake. The managers sure know how to gee everyone up. After a fantastic meal it wasn't long before everyone was dancing around the tables having an amazing time and including everyone. I will definitely be back for more.

Just wow! Authentic Balkan experience, this place literally transcends me into the Balkan village experience. Super authentic food, my experience was just divine and the staff are so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend this little place in the outer burbs! Be prepared to be wheelbarrowed out of the establishment because of the modest portions of fantastic food! Much love for this Macedonian gem!

Food was amazing. Service, not so much. We walked in and waited for 15 mins to be attended to. We sit for the next 45 mins. That adds up to an hour. That's a lot of wait for 50% occupancy I'd say. Again, food was amazing. The 10 Kebvapis (excuse the spelling) were so succulent. Geez, that stacked on bread with tabouli and chili flakes is a combo made in heaven i.e. Zegov. I am trying to be balanced here. Work could be done on the turnaround time of order placements. Will be back. Thanks.

The best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service is 5 star the food is 5 star. But the best part of all they serve premium food for a very good price. I would recommend to anyone and I'll keep having my parties at this place

This place place is by far, the BEST MACEDONIAN restaurant I've been to. The food is perfect in quality and quantity, the customer service is second to none and the interior itself is amazing. This place has a real authentic feel to hit, I highly recommend this place especially for their Mix grill and their Salma.

Great little restaurant coming from Italy we felt like was a little family trattoria. Food was superb cook to perfection. Meat was of good quality tasty and juicy. Every plate that arrive at out table was delicious and was left clean. Service was great friendly and very helpful. Definately a hidden gem in the North. A must visit for all the meat lovers.

A great surprise visit. Travelling around Melbourne's northern suburbs on site visits, we expected lunch to be a soggy servo pie. Came upon Zegov and ended up a great lunch and first time eating Mecedonian food. Good sized servings, unpretentious atmosphere, and glad we visited. Well worth it if you're in the area.
