My recent visit to the Roxborough Park Hotel’s buffet was nothing short of delightful. Contrary to some reviews I’d come across, the shrimp was fresh and aromatic – a standout among the plentiful choices available. The buffet offers outstanding value for money, ensuring every guest feels like they’re getting more than their money’s worth. Beyond the delectable dishes, the ambiance of the place resonates with warmth and comfort, making you feel right at home. I foresee many more visits in the future. Highly recommended!

Good location, great atmosphere. The Roxy certainly has an extensive All You Can Eat selection, including but not limited to, mash potato, butter chicken, roast beef, pork, chicken, pizza, seafood, chips and a huge desert range and of course jugs are available at the counter, $13 for a Jug of coke. Feedback: Please provide a service so customers can order drinks/jugs and have it delivered to their table, so they don't have to go to the counter. I am disappointed that the Butter Chicken went fast and no more was put out, it's also disappointed that they don't fill the jugs up to the top if you ask for no ice, hence 4 stars... I am purchasing coke, not water, so If I choose no ice, that's doesn't mean you can give the customer less Coke to compensate for the missing ice. This is the fifth buffet service I have been to in the last year, although this is my first visit to this location.

The great things about this place is very welcoming. The money you will spend is worth it. They have a great variety of food especially if you are a good eater. Friendly environment for every culture, and with children. However their price changes a bit but hey, the amount you can eat is worth paying for. So I would literally recommend this place.

All you can eat. Typically, there were good courses and not so good courses. The curry was very good and the roast beef was also good. Easy to find something most people would enjoy. Food was refreshed frequently which was good. Tables were cleared rapidly of used dishes. Desert had a good variety and was fresh. Worst aspect was the machine made coffee. We got latte and cappuccino, neither of which had any milk in them from the machine. There was cold milk that we added but it made the coffee too cold and that is not the way latte and cappuccino should be made. This spoilt the end of what had been a good night. Price for seniors was very reasonable.

Buffet was greatly overpriced , very poor quality food , very little variety. The Bar area shut at 10:30 so we were told to go into the pokies area if we wanted to remain. Which was surprising considering it was a Saturday Night. Avoid this place if you want a good night out.

We went to the buffet for lunch today. The food was hot and tasty. The staff we interacted with (Alex and Tuk) were wonderful. Efficient, speedy and friendly. They cleared the tables as soon as plates were finished (but not in a way to make customers feel rushed), and were polite and checked in with customers regularly. Thank you

The Roxburgh park hotel features the best value smorgasbord in Melbourne... I've been coming here for years and when I have my mother come and visit me I'll book us in because it's part of a tradition I share with her, as we both love it as do the rest of the family... Such great value, and features a very diverse and cultural taste experience coupled with some of the hardest working efficient and well mannered staff in hospitality, removing your emptied dishes and utensils in quick time and obviously great talented cooks in the background.. Great price, great food, great service and a great family friendly atmosphere...Can't beat it.

This place used to so good!.. now its gone down hill!.. the staff are so unfriendly! You can tell they hate being there!... we booked for group of 15 to 20 people, for the 6pm session, when we got there, there was line, so by the time we got in and sit on our table it was 6:20pm! they closed the buffet at 7:15pm! Our session was for 2hours!!... so where is the 2 hours session we booked for??.. and when we spoke to the staff and the manager to why they closing so early, they were so rude!.. this used to be our fav place to go to.. now we won't be going there anymore!!!... very disappionted!!

Good food, good price, nothing big... Good choice for meat eaters... No too much for vegetarians and vegans... Lot of children walking everywhere and this is annoying... Not big choice of dessert... Am I going back? Yes I will

I like Roxburgh Park Hotel. The meat is lovely, some very tasty picks and side serves. U get your money's worth no doubt, excellent service and atmosphere. Im lactose intolerant, therefore a bit wary about desserts. Been there twice, and will definitely go again!

This place is amazing. Its way better than the Craigieburn Highlands Hotel. I didnt like that place's food at all. We come here often, the food is tasty a nice variety. The price is also reasonable and kids 4 and under are free The food is halal which is very important for us (other than the pork roast ofcourse) and the deserts are super, we all leave happy and full all the time My favourite is the chinese noodles / stir fry and the honey chicken + thai chicken. Roast + calamari + so much more.

Usually a very good variety of food and food is usually quite nicely cooked. Plates always cleared efficiently. Only down side is waiting in line to pay especially on busy days. They should let everyone in and get seated then open the food area because sometimes by the time you get in its already been 15 mins into your session time especially if large groups come in same time.

Pleasant atmosphere, music not too loud. Staff super friendly and helpful in both the bistro and the buffet area. Food was good, could have added a little more salad as the side dish, I got 1 wedge of tomato and a little lettuce and some fine shreds of cucumber, the dressing was nice though. 5 people are and had soft drinks for about $125. Good value for money.

The all you can eat buffet is brilliant. There's a playground for kids and ample seating. There is always a line to get in and gets very busy so be prepared to stand 10 minutes in queue

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas! This place has always been a family favourite of ours. The roast is superb and the atmosphere is vibrant and a great place for family to come eat and hang out! There is something for everyone in the family to eat, enjoy and do. Staff are great here too. πŸ™‚

My family from Melbourne took me there for a night out I live in New Zealand what a beautiful night out just loved everything about. Totally loved how there's something there for all ages to enjoy that's awesome. Your food choices are amazing right down to the dessert bar wow. Worth every cent not that I can tell how much was spent as I said my family who live there took me/us out for the night. I highly recommend this place tho, will surely do it again when I'm in Melbourne next time. Thank yous πŸ’–πŸ’–

So i been coming to this place frequently for the last 3 years and it was always very good to be honest but tonight it was the worst food you can possible have, all their rices are uncooked basically crisp in your mouth, the roast beef thats usually very tender is very chewy, uncooked charcoal chicken literally pink. All the other beef dishes taste off. I really dont know what happened, change of chef or what but overall it was bad enough for me not to come again.

Session was for 1-2.50PM they closed all the main dishes by 2PM and rushing to leave. Didn’t feel a good gesture from a hotel. Overall it is okay. Not worth the drive from South East.

Visited friends from Sydney and we were taken here for lunch. Food was amazing, whilst selections was less than your standard Sydney buffet the quality outweighed the quantity and therefore the experience was well worth it. Will definitely visit next time we are in town.

If this was a parallel universe and humans were anamorphic pigs, I think this buffet would be the trough. I usually don't do buffets, as most of them are not great (and I was forced to go here for my dad's birthday), but this takes the (tasteless) cake. Almost every single thing we ate here was consistently and the reason I say almost every thing was consistently bad is because of how inconsistently bad the ribs were. If feces could be moulded into something that resembles meat, then these ribs would be it. There was not even an attempt to trim off the fat or gristle. A part of me died when I ate these ribs and it genuinely made me lose the last shred of faith I had left in humanity. Fyi, I wasn't planning on leaving a review, as I think people that are under the age of 60 and go to these places, deserve to be punished by eating these trough scraps, but as I am sitting here in the toilet, for the 5th time today, I thought I would do the humane thing and warn anyone who has any respect for themselves, their digestive system and mankind, do yourself a favor and eat at one of the near infinite choices of kebabs and middle eastern cuisines that the area is know for.

The place is ok for a buffet. The price is reasonble considering how busy they can get here. The carvery is a little bit dry. Pork crackling so hard it'll chip your teeth. I recommend the Japanese, chicken curry and asian food sections. They have a nice selection of deserts as well.

Revisited the Bistro after the hiatus caused by covid over the last few years - we visited during the week for the lunch buffet. It's not bad - I wouldn't say it's the best quality food you'll find, but if you just want to fill yourself up, then this is the place to go. The lunch buffet definitely doesn't have as much variety as the evening one (hence the price the difference), but there's probably enough choice. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, so you'll have to take my word for it! Staff are always friendly. Won't be rushing back but might visit again in the future.

Really enjoy this place alot. Been coming here for years enjoying the open buffet for lunch or dinner and the food is 5 🌟 quality πŸ˜‹ πŸ‘Œ πŸ˜€.. Great chefs working in their kitchens. It just saddens me that they keep putting up prices so it's becoming a real luxury to eat out here as a family.. I honestly believe you could do better with pricing for lunch and dinner or else it'll soon be out of reach for myself and many other families too sadly

A good place to have a meal and a bit of fun in the gaming lounge (responsibly) friendly staff but the addition of machines replacing the staff is making it less personal. A shame really, but other than that it's a nice place.

Been coming to Roxy for 13years, and had the manager have a go at my mum and Aunty for a booking for Easter Sunday that he didnt know anything about, but my wife and another staff had been communicating a week prior. Didnt need to crack it at my mum, couldve came and talk to me and my wife since we were the ones who made the booking. Didnt apologize to the old lady aswell. Found him still talking about the booking to a staff. Wife confronted him. Went for another dinner lastnight with the fams and the bro fully snobs us Lol. He knew who we were. Dudes forever looking like he wants to fight everyone. The lady who took our booking should be the manager. She was nice. Soft spoken and all. Two stars for the poor treatment of my mum. But food was good.

Im giving you 5 star rating due to your excellent customer services. Can you please elaborate on rule regarding line up to grab food?If i don't want entree then why i should have join the queue because recently on Monday night a arrogant and rude woman slapped on my hand not to join queue.I was going to report Police regarding this physical assault but i left the venue in just 20 minutes otherwise your Halloween night was going to welcome Police further investigation. I'm not going to any restaurant for paying food and get insulted by other patrons.Make some clear rule on line up if required or not required.

The deserts were plentiful, so dig in and enjoy. If you haven't been there in a while, it's time to go back and have another look. Most foods were Halal !
