This museum will be the first choice of car enthusiasts. The Holden museum has all the cars built by Holden Australia since 1948 to 2017 when the sun set for decades long Australian love. The ticket cost $15 which is well worth for the effort made by the people operate it. The staff is friendly, the cars are maintained in their best quality, and details of each car such as manufactured year, price, it's cylinder capacity, weight, etc is provided.

It's not just about cars. Didn't know Holden started making saddlery, appliances and even the heads of golf clubs. Amazing display of cars from the first model up to the last. Amazing for the car enthusiast, but enlightening for those of us who are not. Friendly helpful volunteers with an amazing range of knowledge. Certainly worth a visit.

Great set of cars displayed well. Cars are all in pristine condition. Lots of Holden story and memorabilia. Some quite rare ones as well including 4 Brock cars his first open wheeler he built and the ugly A30 and of course an L34. Hidden gem great value for $15

Such friendly staff and a really well displayed museum! There are so many cars on display and the tour guides have so many interesting stories to tell and share. The walls are full of photographs and other bits and pieces. Some rooms also have interactive displays for both adults and children to experience. It is located a very short drive (walkable distance) from the Main Street and has plenty of parking available nearby. A very wonderful asset to Trafalgar indeed!

The most awesome experience. Jake and Old Bill were great guides, full of information and great humour. You don't need to be a Holden fan or even a car buff to enjoy some Australian history. Highly recommend.

Wonderful collection of lovingly restored cars and other products available from Holden and then GMH over years since 1886. Very professional presentation. Friendly and informative staff who are mainly volunteers. Something for car enthusiasts and anyone interested in Australian social history. Thanks for a great visit.

We were very happy after visiting this place. Found a lot of more things about Holden from this place more so they just didn’t make cars they produced Fridges, Freezers, Ovens etc. Staff weee very friendly & helpful we travelled down from Queensland just to see this place. Thanks for your contribution to history educating us & many more people. I have told a lot of our Club members from Queensland Commodore Owners Club. Hopefully they will want to visit this place if they came to Victoria !! 😎

Great place to visit, for any Holden enthusiast, or car enthuisiast infact. Great display of Holden vehicles and components, with working display models of suspension and drive trains. The museum also has revolving exhibits, so different cars are featured at different times, so no one visit is the same.

Well worth a visit. What a great range of cars, Holden memorabilia, engines, gift shop items, etc. Informative video running. I hadn't been for a few years, and was pleasantly surprised by the increased scope of the display, and there are expansion plans for the future. Well done Neil and everyone concerned.

Have driven past the museum countless times but had never taken the time to visit. So glad I did!!!! The cars displayed are absolutely beautiful and it really is a trip down memory lane. Each section of the museum is displayed beautifully and very informative. The history of Holden dating back to the 1800's is extremely interesting and diverse. The volunteers are friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. It's obvious how proud they are of this wonderful museum. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit.

I went there today with my bosses and good friends (Darren and Debbie Bailey) to see his Cousins (Graham Heywood) VS SS HOLDEN UTE which he donated to the museum on request before he passed away but when they asked about the ute they said that they would show us after we looked around that completed they took us to a shed out the back where it says with about 12 other cars including an XU-1 Torana which is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC... As well as getting over his(Graham's) D.O.D. wrong which we asked to be rectified.... VERY DISAPPOINTED ?
