Our dogs love running around here. When we are done we take them for a walk around the lake.

Over crowded, dog fights (and fights between owners) occur regularly, and gravel is not an appropriate medium for dog parks. Worst place in mill park to socialise your dogs

Great dog park. Two sections one for all dogs & the other section is for small or quiet dogs. Drinking station in the big section. Would like the council to add a drinking station in the small section as well. Would also like the council to add lights so I can take my dog at might time after work. I can only take him on the weekends by the time I get home from work it's too dark.

Area for small dogs disgusting, no water supply, only one park bench, which would get full sun, should be more seating under tree AND EQUAL FACILITIES to the Main large dog area that has water bubbler for dogs and humans, many park benches and rocks, logs, shelter and a shaded pavilion, landscaping. Should be equal, horrid, its a statement that small or old dogs don't count. Just fenced off left over unlandscaped area. Just an afterthought. Not good enough whittlesea council

I go for a walk and explore πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ around here it's great that dog πŸ• have their own space to play. Fence around, and there's shade for them owner to sit and watch their dog πŸ• it's good some owner still keep leash on some are unleash play friendly but toady while I'm walking by I heart dog fighting so I'm not sure how was it, I know its a unleash park for dogs but I believe that all dogs cannot be trusted, all dogs are different. It is a safe place to walk around or jog πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ . There's a field nearby for kick a all or play touch with group of friends or family :)

A good size play area for dogs to run off leash. There is grass, tan bark and stones for different terrain. A drink fountain is provided for dogs and owners. Very popular.

Large fenced off area with variety of surface textures to enhance dogs sensory experience. Contains a smaller fenced off area for smaller or shy dogs. Could be improved with some Dog agility equipment and availability of bags to pick up dog waste ( although most owners bring their own). It's popular and well attended.

The dog park itself is great, it's just a shame people can't control their aggressive dogs. The five stars is for park, I give zero for the owners of the dogs. Smh.

Lake nearby is terrible and constantly stinks. The park was set to receive other essential works too, but they've been put off. Federal opposition has pleged $2m to fix it up, but the council need to match the offer hopefully we get a new council soon who care about our local community enough to finish fixing this place. Dog Park is average.

Most of the "regulars" dogs are not friendly, I'd taken my dogs a handful of times and half the time my dogs were bullied/attacked. As soon as they saw certain dogs arriving they would head to the gate wanting to leave.

Great edition to the area with plenty of room for your dog to run around. Great to see a separate area for smaller dogs. Would love to see an agility course put in there.

Great new dog park there was a separate area for small dogs, senior dog which is such a great idea. Note that it does get busy.. For now very impressed.. Whittlesea Council we need more of these. My rates finally went to somehing I can use with my dog.

Unfortunately the Peter Hopper Lake is not what it used to be owing to neglect b Council .Also although bins around same are emptied council workers don't seem to pick up rubbish around lake nor do they pick up rotting carcasses as they used too. Shame as this lake is part of our heritage of Mill Park. WE DONT HAVE ANY DUCKS ANY MORE AND THE CHILDREN MISS THEM. I do hope the council will soon sort this problem out. UPDATE ON PETER HOPPER. LAKE. JULY 2022. Council still failing us on fixing up the Lake. Although it looks healthy, it is not, apparently the algea that was covering the Lake, drops to to bottom leaving the birds and water animals unable to feed from it because of the toxitity so they are having trouble finding food. NO excuse for this as Council have been promised BY LABOR GOV 2 MILLION DOLLARS TOWARDS FIXING THE LAKE. It,s a lovely lake but owing to neglect over last 2-3 years needs a lot of work. PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN OR DOGS PADDLE IN THE WATER AS IT IS NOT SAFE. If you want to learn more about the lake go to FACEBOOK , "Friends of Peter Hopper Lake" Lots of interesting info about same.
