Platinum Apartments Is one of those short stay companies that make you wish you could afford better. The owner/manager will happily turn your building into a zoo and then tell you that it’s her right. if you are hoping for considerate, professional service, think again. If you are an animal looking for a zoo.....you might have found nirvana.

Group of 16 international students. Had an amazing stay at the penthoust Platinum Apartments. The host are always contactable on the phone, and very friendly. Room has a great view over Docklands, easy walk to Southern Cross station. Close to Coles supermarkets and trams.

Check in was straightforward and the apartment was modern, clean, spacious and had a great layout. The corner views to the South, looking out to the ocean were epic. I'm giving 3 stars because we weren't allowed access to the pool/gym/spa/sauna. We were told access wasn't possible as they usually give access to guests staying a week or more and we only stayed 6 days. The mobile phone reception is TERRIBLE which means we needed to rely on wifi for connectivity. The wifi was verrrry intermittent and we needed to reboot the router many times to get back online. Not ideal when there was pressing work to be done. None of the bedrooms or bathrooms had locks on the doors. I'd possibly stay there again if I didn't need to rely on the internet but I'd look at other accommodation other options first.

Very comfy apartment for 2. On 30+ level . Fantastic views. Very clean with details on amenities from basic amenities to umbrellas shopping trolley to coffee tea jam & milk. Pricey a little but worth it. Have us a Xmas gift basket too. Will stay here again Host was helpful & check in easy & fast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family at Platinum Apartments. Smooth and easy check in/check out process. Helen and Rachel were super lovely and absolutely amazing. The apartment had everything we needed and was within walking distance for the casino, shops and transport. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Melbourne.

Freshwater place is an incredible place to stay, the concierge are lovely and the apartment is well taken care of. The views are breath taking!

Fantastic location and facilities. A home away from home. I stay here when travelling for work and also on school holidays with my family. The gym, bbq area, cinema room are fantastic. The parking is secure and rooms a spacious and luxurious.

We stayed at The Londoner with friends for a vacation and Aussie Open tennis. The service from Platinum Apartments was excellent and they met us right upon arrival. The apartment is gorgeous, with incredible views, three bedrooms and a great kitchen and living area. The location is outstanding and an easy walk to everything. We loved our stay.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Platinum Apartments. The location was brilliant and the balcony views were stunning. The apartment was very clean and modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check in and check out was very easy and there was always a quick response to any questions. We very much look forward to our next stay.

We are so glad we found this place. Exceptionally clean. Everything you could need for your stay (we were there for 5 nights). Fantastic support staff - very helpful and quick to respond on the one occasion we needed to call them to get help with parking. And the view!!!!! When planning our return to Melbourne the first thing we will do is check Platinum Apartments availability.

We stayed here for one night during the week. Location is handy however the apartment itself and service within the company has been very poor. The apartment was incredibly dirty. The carpet had not been cleaned, the kitchen had oil marks all over the cupboards, the bathroom was incredibly dirty with the toilet bowl not having been cleaned . The sheets seemed cleaned but that was about it. The internet was not working and the TV remote had no batteries. For the price you pay, not worth it. The walls are also in desperate need of a coat of paint. We are still waiting to hear back from management about how poor stay was. Would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone.

This is the second time we have stayed in the same apartment at Freshwater Place at New Year. It is always immaculately clean, very well equipped, the facilities are excellent and it is ideally located close to the CBD. The Platinum team is very easy to deal with and always very responsive to emails and will go out of their way to ensure it is a pleasant stay. I can highly recommend them. Gail Anderson

Very nice apartment. Nice location. Very detailed amenities, you can find all things that you need in the apartment. Helen and her team is very friendly and helpfull.

We had the most enjoyable 'child free' weekend with another couple at Platinum Apartments. Staff were so friendly and very accommodating. The apartment was amazing and the facilities at the building were great. We were able to relax at the apartment while enjoying the pool, gym and BBQ areas and then venture in to Crown and Southbank. We will definitely be back, we would like to do it with and without the kids, the apartments would be great for kids, and equally without. High recommended if you are looking for accommodation in Melbourne!

This is a business that is seriously focused on customer satisfaction but they also have the facilities and apartment to back it up. From check-in you will find little surprises during your entire stay. When you go to cook a meal on the quality appliances you will find olive oil, pots & pans right through to salt and pepper with plenty of serving dishes and utensils. When you go to have a coffee you will find decent coffee pods and a proper bottle of fresh milk in the fridge, went down a treat with the melting moment biscuits supplied. When you go to do some laundry you will find soap powder to match the quality washer and dryer. When you go to shower you will find quality shower gels and soaps, these were a bit above the usual hotel stuff though. Every time I went to use an appliance or facility the consumables required were not just supplied but supplied in a quality format. Special shout out to Jack who was very welcoming and was only a phone call away the entire journey. The building is quiet, the people are respectful. The view was great, especially watching the helicopters taking off. Business foxtel package with a Bluetooth connectable sound bar made for great entertainment at the end of the day. IGA with built in liquor store open until 9pm is situated next door and was very handy. Everything else was 5mins away. I have only stayed in a few places in Melbourne but I won’t be searching next visit, I will be staying here.
