I am 34 weeks pregnant and I could not get an appointment with my regular GP for a few weeks, but was able to book one here for the next day. I sat down at the appointment, and without any further questions or any assessment was told by the doctor that he would not help me and that I was wasting his time by stealing an appointment from his regular patients. And to leave and wait until I can get an appointment with my regular GP. But stated that he would still bill me as I had taken an appointment time from someone else. As a nurse myself I have never had a medical practitioner treat a patient so unprofessionally. At the time I was completely shocked and walked out, but after consultation with fellow practitioners I will be reporting this incident to the health complaints commissioner and the medical board. Further note, if he was such a good GP with regular clients, he wouldn’t have multiple appointments available each day. Which is how I got the appointment in the first place.

Having recently moved to the area I desperately wanted to find something local. My previous GP is now too far to travel to. So when I got sick recently I decided I’ll give it a go as it’s so close to me. Doctor kept referring to how I have no history with them and how she understands I have gone there as it’s after hours and my “local” GP may be unavailable. I explained to her that I had recently moved to the area and that this clinic is now my local clinic. I really felt like she just didn’t care to help me! I think I’ll keep searching unfortunately! I found her very unprofessional! No empathy whatsoever! Such a shame how it’s so hard to find a good doctor that doesn’t mind taking on a new patient who’s address is clearly in the area!! I’m finding it really hard to get into one nearby… what I don’t understand is why was I told it was fine to go if it clearly wasn’t? I really felt like I was being shrugged off!

Dr Hanaa Ibrahim should NOT call herself a doctor. She is rude, unprofessional and has no empathy or compassion. The most condescending and unkind person I have ever met. She started yelling at me mid-appointment when I asked a legitimate medical question. She rolled her eyes, laughed in my face and was impatient not letting me finish a sentence. I have been with this clinic from the beginning of 2008 when it first opened in Plenty valley shopping centre. Needless to say I will NOT be returning EVER again and I suggest if you are reading this review that you find a different clinic to go to. Save yourself the frustration.

Dr. Was nice and professional. Reception on the other hand really needs improvement. I was late for my appointment and was told it needs to be rescheduled some other day. I immediately checked in health engine and there was an available appointment in 30 minutes! It’s either the receptionist is LAZY, HAS NO INITIATIVE to look at the computer and find an available appointment (the computer is right in front of you for God’s sake!) or simply has NO EMPATHY in helping patients. Why tell me that the appointment will be rebooked some other day when there is an available appointment in the next 30 minutes? Unbelievable!

Had worst experience with Dr Wines. I've had him before at a previous clinic and thought he was quirky but mostly a good doctor. This time I researched good skin cancer checking drs and coincidentally found him. He yelled at the reception staff about me then again at me for apparently being "late" He was very arrogant and rude and actually made me ugly cry. I explained to him I wanted a skin check as 2 people close to me had died on melanoma recently (still in tears)and was dismissed and Stated I was late (I was there on time but as I was a new patient I had to fill out forms-mind you it was 6 minutes just after appointment commenced that I walked into appointment shaking as he was yelling at me). After the skin check I left there with a very bad taste in my mouth, an empty bank account and felt very small, inferior, sad and depressed. Shocking experience. Would. not. recommend.

Went on Sunday 26th to see Dr. I with my partner as we required a referral to see a psychiatrist. This was on the recommendations of a therapist who very strongly believes a diagnosis and medication is required. Dr. I spent half of the time lecturing us like little children for not seeing her exclusively (sometimes emergency calls for seeing the first GP you can get in to see) before writing us a vague referral. This was after we explained the severe mental health concerns we were experiencing. My partner went back to see her yesterday, as the wait for some psychiatry clinics is anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, but can be much faster if the referral references Medicare "Item 291". Dr. I refused to help my partner and write a new referral, as "it is not her area" and she does not want a psychiatry clinic to contact her to write us a script down the line. She flat out refused her Duty of Care, did not recommend another Dr. who was willing to write a referral, and then asked the reception staff to write some psychiatrists on a scrap piece of paper for us to contact - which we cannot do without a specific referral!! We were then charged for the appointment, which was the cherry on top of an awful experience. To my understanding, referrals are unable to be refused by the GP unless the GP thinks that your case can be managed within primary care and may not require the input of a specialist - which is not the case here. No wonder mental health in this country is in such poor disarray, when people muster up the confidence to reach out and ask for time-sensitive help and they are then met with wall after wall. I will be taking this further, absolutely disgusting treatment.

I made an appointment for today 6 December. About 9 months ago My file was electronically sent over from another clinic as my normal family Doctor was going to retire. The first words that came out of the Doctors mouth today, “I see you have not been here since June and it appears that you are going to two Doctors. She told me that she was not going to be my doctor if I am going to both. She obviously knew from the electronic file that I did visit my old Doctor in September, and as I explained, my former doctor had to do an assessment on my capacity as I was changing my will. he was more qualified to do that than her as he has been my family doctor for last 20 years. The doctor today refused to give me a referral for a podiatrist because it was classified as a care plan, and I had to make another appointment to come back to see a nurse. She had no time, and today’s consultation did not provide that time. She did however give me a referral for an eye specialist. This clinic no longer bulk bills unless you have a concession card. no wonder it was easy to make an appointment and get seen straight away. Not enough clientele. Made another appointment at my old doctors clinic to get my referral for podiatrist. can’t get in until late January 2023. it makes you wonder . Disgusted in the behaviour of the Doctor today. $$$ was her only concern .

Wish I read the previous reviews before confirming a booking with Dr Hanna. I don’t go to the GP often as I’m not I’ll often, and when I walked into the meeting I said I was here to discuss a few issues I’m having, her immediate response was “because I don’t have a full medical history for you, we have to keep this appointment to two things only” That hurt. And when I was explaining my symptoms, she would continually interrupt my. After about 4-5 mins she’s ends the appointment by saying “I guess you want a med cert”. No, I want to talk about how to make myself feel better.. One of my symptoms is a deep cough, to which Dr Hanna states “it mustn’t be too bad a cough if you haven’t coughed once in the my room”. (In the 5 mins I was there).. She didn’t hear me coughing up a lung in the reception area…… But I found the reception team helpful. Never seeing Dr Hanna again..

Terrible customer service. I went there when I was severely coughing from throat pain and got turned away by reception just because they were about to close. The receptionist then rudely asked what was the matter and immediately turned us away repeatedly saying how they were about to close. No one was waiting in line too!! They really couldn't spare 5 minutes. I don't think genuine kindness or consideration exists within the staff at this organisation so you're better off looking for a GP that's more professional and far away from here.

Had the first dose of Covid 19 Pfizer. The day later I was not feeling right and was very sick and had alot of symptoms that didn't add up.. I booked an appointment with Dr Hanaa Ibrahim, I explained to her what was going on and my symptoms and she had no consideration or care whatsoever and was so quick to get me out of the office and said it was normal and offered no support. I had to ask her on the way out if there was something i could use to ease the symptoms and basically said try gastro stop and see if that works. Dr Hanaa Ibrahim is a very dismissive person and has no time for her patients.... disgusting service

Dr Hanaa Ibrahim is dismissive and brushes you off like another number. I've only been to this doctors a bunch full of times and dont have a set doctor. I booked in a phone appointment with her to get my script (like usual) and was told by Dr Hanaa Ibrahim I'm unable to get the usual script as she is not my normal doctor (although I don't have a specific doctor) and was very rude and Unprofessional and told me I am lucky to have answered the call as it almost ran out and she stated "I am lucky and next time I should be more quick to answer the call as she was finishing her shift and about to go home" such a rude lady! I would give this Clinic a rating of "0" for this unprofessionalism but unfortunately thats not an option.....

My 6 month old had her vaccination last week and she suddenly become sick next day , I knew there are some side effects but as a FTM I was worried and wanted to asked few questions. As my usually GP was fully booked I had to booked with Dr. Ross for Telehealth he was the only available dr, however he refused to talk to me as I didn’t agree video calling !!!! I was at work and it was not necessary to video call at all I explained it to the receptionist few times that my 6 MONTH OLD is sick I just have a quick question but he really really refused to talk. How can a doctor be this careless? Specially with a baby patient.. I would never recommend him to any one as he left me crying that day

Very unhelpful staff. Went in for my daughter to be seen by Dr first time visit. Filled out all proper paperwork etc. First time there and we did not know where to go the staff couldn't even be bothered to show us where to go. We wondered up and down the hallway no one helped. Seen by Dr which was just rushed in and out. Charged $80 for first visit and was told I'll get $39.75 back in rebate. Usually this happens right away, waited the next day nothing came in. So called the clinic and staff couldn't be bothered helping or even looking anything up and just palmed me off to call Medicare. I then called Medicare, put on wait for ages and then they explained that the receptionist and done an error and put my daughter as the claimants which should have been under me as the parent. I called back again the clinic the 2nd time 2days after the appointment and explained what Medicare told me. No apologies, but just excuses. Absolutely so unhelpful. Once they take your money then that was all they cared about. I will not be going back. I wished I had seen other people's reviews first before booking in. I can understand why they are so quiet. Terrible clinic.

First I would like to say that the reception staff were really nice. However Dr Hanaa Ibrahim was anything but. She is the worst "doctor" I have ever seen. She's rude, arrogant, condescending and impatient. I paid for zero outcome with her. I'll never go back and would suggest others to look elsewhere. Also take any good review with a pinch of salt.

I attended the clinic today and saw Dr Hannah Ibrahim. During my consultation she listened to and addressed my health concerns. She was very thorough and professional. Dr Ibrahim took the time to explain what procedures needed to take place and made me feel relaxed. I am very satisfied with Dr Ibrahim's service and i would recommend her in the future. Thank you Dr ibrahim

Needed my 14 month old seen as she is unwell and unable to get in with her regular GP clinic. Was able to get in on the day and saw Dr Ahmed he was very gentle and caring with my daughter and reassuring to me! He made sure to check everything and was kind The clinic is clean and is in a convenient location with lots of parking and with coffee shop and next to chemist warehouse if you need to fill a script. I think they also have pathology and a nurse on-site. Reception staff were kind too. Would recommend Dr Ahmed

I saw Dr Ross Wines today for a skin check. The service I received was extremely poor. First of all he was was half an hour late. When I went in he asked what I was there for. I advised him that it was for a skin check and asked if he could write me a referral for an allergy test. His response was " I have my specialist hat on today and you'll need another appointment for the referral. At the end of my examination he asked how my skin rash was because he could see it around my eyes, however he refused to give me a referral because my appointment was for 20 minutes, which was already up. When I went to pay I realised that I had only byin his room for 10 minutes of my 20 min appointment however he still refused to give me a referral. So I made an appointment for the following day with my usual GP Sr Theo. I will not be back to see St Ross Wines again. I will do my skin checks elsewhere

My 5 stars go to Dr Saka and Dr Ahmed. I usually see Dr Saka who is fantastic but this week I accidentally split my finger open and showed up at the clinic without an appointment. I was bought straight in to see the Nurse and Dr Ahmed who immediately cleaned me up and sent me for Xrays before stitching my hand up. He did a great job and was extremely gentle, caring and professional 😊

Rude and money hungry. Why call me in to get results of tests when only half were ready? To get two payments out of me?! I received a message saying the Dr. needs to see me only to be told the results (for half my tests) were clear! Frustrating and I was spoken to like garbage when I questioned this! I do NOT recommend this practice.

Made an appointment at this Medical Centre as my usual doctor was unavailable. I saw Dr. Hanna Ibrahim, but I use the term 'Doctor' quite loosely in this context, as the treatment I received was undeserving of this title. She showed no care, empathy or compassion. I was appalled that she refused to treat me as I didn't have medical history with them and told me 'there is nothing I can do if she has no records to compare to'. She was completely rude, dismissive, unprofessional and incompetent in her practice. Please do not see this doctor. I left feeling very upset and my problems unresolved. To mistreat people at there most vulnerable is unacceptable.

Dr Hanaa is what’s keeping me coming to Plenty Valley Medical Centre. She almost instantly solves any issues that i or my family have. She provides solutions/medications to better our health. Today she recognised I had an ongoing issue with sinuses + deviated septum also instantly when telling her my problem. She provided me with a solution and info on what to do when problem worsens. Many other doctors I’ve been to kept neglecting my sinus problems and telling me to worry about it later Dr Hanaa showed care and empathy towards my health concerns and I would like to genuinely thank her for it.

Reception lovely, doctors don’t care, don’t listen. Pathology was even worse. They decided to see two patients at once, resulting in me walking in on another patient when it was supposed to just be me. Do not bring another patient in when YOU ARE NOT FINISHED TESTING ME!!

I'm a patient of Dr Hanaa Ibrahim for a very long time. She is one of most experienced doctor with a gift of diagnose the problem at the first time and prescribe the right medication. She is very patient and take the time to listen to gives the right advice at the first glance. I always commend Dr Hanaa Ibrahim for her professional conduct and caring of her patients. She is an asset to any clinic she practice in.

In stark contrast to other reviewers, I saw Dr Hanna Ibrahim yesterday and have a completely different perspective. Dr Ibrahim obtained a family history, this after apologizing for being a little late because her previous patient was a new patient and she wanted to set her at ease and obtain a complete history. FYI: Until fairly recently I was on faculty at a medical school, I have good idea about what I can expect. Dr Ibrahim is by far the best MD I have seen in the 21 years I have been in Australia. I would recommend her, and have done already, to other patients seeking an attentive and clearly informed MD. I am sorry that other patients do not feel the same way. I, however, am going to ensure moving forward that I ask to see Dr Ibrahim.

After having a string of bad experiences with GPs in the area I was convinced to find a GP that was supportive and thorough. Dr Hanna is exceptional. She was sympathetic and supportive particularly throughout my high risk pregnancy, answers all my concerns and encouraged me to contact AHPRA to report malpractice of a previous GP from a different clinic. She will fit my child in whenever she can and listens to my concerns. She is the only female doctor I’ve seen to work after hours on weekends! Can’t fault her.

I highly recommend Dr Hanna, she is highly knowledgeable and experienced in her field, is fantastic for the whole family. It’s hard to finding a good GP let alone a female one and Dr Hanna is excellent. When seeing her she listens and supports, and always accommodates my family and I. No question unanswered when being consulted by Dr Hanna, her availability is fantastic. I highly recommend 😊

I have been a patient of Dr Hanaa for many years now and can highly recommend her. Her dedication to her patients is commendable, she is empathetic and caring. It's great to have good female doctor that I can talk to about anything to. She always takes her time and I never feel like I am being rushed. Thank you Dr Hanna.

If you want care and compassion and more than 3 mins of "doctors time" go anywhere else, anywhere else!!!!! Use google you'll get better service and care than this place they just want your $$$$$$ don't ask questions got told " it's not there job to care or answer questions times up find another doctor if your not happy" absolutely useless. Even called to discuss with management and they could even be bothered listening! Avoid like the plague... zero stars

NEVER GO HERE!! Dr Hanaa Ibrahim did not do her duty well, my cousin went for pain in the abdomen but she said I will not see you without a previous medical history and wrote a blood test to be done without even finding what or where the problem is. Please help other to know about the place.

Dr Hannah is a disgrace to the profession of doctors, blames a patient for administrative faults on part of the clinic and expects a patient to know the ins and outs of a working clinic. Incompetent and lacking in values of basic empathy. Horrible! Change ur appointment if you do get her or change clinics!!!

  • 1/5 Cel C. 2 years ago on Google
Made an appointment here as my usual doctor was booked. Awful experience with the doctor I saw (Dr Hanna Ibrahim) No compassion or empathy. She cut me off while trying to discuss concerns and why I was seeking an appointment. You seek a doctors appointment for professional advice and you will not get that here. She was completely unprofessional and rude. I completely agree with the other comments about this doctor. I would not recommend this place. You will be better off going to the Mill Park superclinic if you need a one off appointment.
