totally
exceeded
my
expectations.
Besides
that
it’s
comparable
to
a
strong
luxury
hotel
by
European
standards
(think
Kempinski
—
not
just
Hilton
or
Inter-Cont),
it
is
incredible
how
this
hotel
can
function
and
excel
despite
being
in
the
middle
of
the
jungle
in
a
country
that
is
relatively
remote.
The
hotel
is
Italian-built
with
mostly
Italian
materials,
furniture
and
equipment.
And
it
is
also
Italian-managed,
with
the
GM
Vincenzo
and
his
deputy
Emanuele
doing
a
truly
amazing
job
!
The
upkeep
and
maintenance
are
impeccable
—
despite
that
the
hotel
often
has
very
low
occupancy.
You
can
expect
a
large
comfortable
room
with
a
huge
bathroom
(and
my
room
was
the
most
basic
category),
fully
functional
and
with
all
amenities.
Wifi
is
fast.
There
is
an
indoor
and
an
outdoor
swimming
pool,
a
spa,
shops….
All
truly
excellent.
But
the
food
is
perhaps
the
highlight
—
in
its
multiple
restaurants.
It’s
delicious
and
amazing
—
combining
culinary
approaches
from
different
continents
—
international
and
European
and
African
flavours!

to
chef
Pascal
!
There
is
also
a
cozy
disco.
Not
just
the
management,
but
all
the
staff,
are
proactive
and
friendly.
Great
team
of
280
staff
ensuring
that
every
guest’s
stay
is
a
memorable
experience.
It
is
definitely
a
destination
hotel
—
that
you
may
want
to
visit
just
to
spend
time
there.
And
also
excellent
for
conferences
or
events
—
as
was
my
case
attending
one
of
these.
