Kshmesh is one of the best restaurants in Erbil for Kurdish traditional food! It's fast and straightforward, the menu is not complicated, consistently delicious, very reasonable prices, and generally good service. It gets crowded very quickly though during lunch, it's better to get there by 12. Highly recommend it!

The perfect place to introduce yourself to the Iraki cuisine and Kurdish culture . Their Dolma is prepared to perfection, rice with pomegranate molasses was a delight.

Nice comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant interior design is giving some of a classic kurdish house vibes by element and finishing materials, which can be a nice experience. The food is tasty, and they serve a variety of Kurdish cuisines from Dollma, Bryani, Kufta, and Kubba to all sorts of meats all well cooked/ fried. Also, their prices are desent and not overcharged compared to other restaurants in that zone. I'm totally recommending it.
