Probably the 2nd nicest hotel in this small town... closer to a 2 star rated hotel in the US; don't expect anything fancy, remember this is a small town... I didn't end up sleeping in this hotel since the shower was a little dirty (you can see the rooms before booking), but the rooms were ok.....a little old/dated, but better than most other hotels in the city. The restaurant in the 2nd floor is pretty good though...a mix of Mongolian and Korean food...not a fancy place, but this isn't a fancy town. If you need a "nicer" hotel, try Tsakhiur Hotel 3 blocks away or the Fairfield Guesthouse if you don't mind basic accommodations with a lot of English speaking tourists.

The worst experience in Mongolia in 3 months. 1. i got ripped 10000 off by the young man staff. When i came here for the first time, the young man staff said to me, the room price is 100000 so i paid. But when i extend the stay at the next day, other woman staff asked me to pay 90000. This often happens in third countries, but they should at least knock while someone is in the room. 4. Even though I am showing Mongolian language with Google translate, a woman staff only answer in Mongolian. After i shouted "how can i understand!?" The woman tried to write in Mongolian on the paper. But how can travelers from other countries know Mongolian language? 5. Wifi did not work in my room. My room was far away from the wifi router next to the reception. The room itself was very comfortable. and the restaurant was nice except the food menu is almost meat. and restaurant woman staff was kind and her boss was also kind enough to drove me to a cafe. But i will give 1 star so that the hotel can recognize and improve their service levels.
