Okay so firstly, we stayed in one of the Rhino lodges on a Friday night and then explored the Safari on the Saturday. This might have been a mistake as the safari trail has bottlenecks where you feed the Giraffe. It took us 2.5 hours to drive around because of this and over an hour of that is sitting in traffic in the middle of an almost empty field. I would advise to go on a weekday if you can. Regarding the lodge, lovely and modern, the build quality is brilliant. What you go there to see (the animals) are just amazing and being able to see the rhinos and even sometimes the Giraffe from our balcony’s is surreal. We even heard the lions roaring throughout the evening and early morning. However, I am giving four stars overall because the cleanliness was appalling, we found kids clothes stickers on the curtain, a rug was getting caught on a door so we pulled it back out of the way and found a surgical glove, hair clips, dust and dirt under the rug which obviously hasn’t been moved. There were stains on the bed sheets and to top it off, a bottle of champagne we ordered to be in the room for our celebration was not there when we arrived. They just need a little more refinement and once that happens, this place will be worth the money. As it’s so expensive, you expect everything to be perfect and pick-up on anything not quite right. Additionally, the drinks in the mini bar cost which I think something should be included for £700 a night for two people and the breakfast was a little simple and small. I want to end on a high as even after the complaints above, we still had an amazing time which is why the four starts are there.

This place would be amazing if only they managed the inflow of customers/cars. No word of a lie it was like queues on the M6. Took us over 2hrs to complete the safari which I imagine with traffic management could do half that. Feeding the animals is a bonus and there's plenty of them but only within limited areas. The walking area was okay, more dinosaur themed than a zoo but you can get to feed tropical birds. The theme park element again is okay however, a third of the ride were on.

We had a good day out with our grandson, aged 4. We ate at the Dino Diner, and the quality of food for a child was extremely good. The walk around zoo was enjoyable, and we saw the Sea Lion show as well as all of the other exhibits. The drive through Safari Park had all of the bigger animals that were all on show with some great interactions with the safe ones... The main downside of the day was a lack of signage upon arrival and lack of staff to ask for help from. Other than that, we all had a great day, and I would recommend a visit.

Arrived 10am and went through the drive through straight away. Took around two hours and we purchased food for the animals. I would recommend you do, as we got to feed a giraffe, deer, antelopes and some birds. Such a good experience being up close to the animals. Be prepared as there aren't any toilets/places to stop going around. After the drive we went to the park and my daughter went on two rides. She was more interested in the park area and we spent some time there. Great day out with the family.

We stayed in the Giraffe Lodge, and it was amazing. The lodge was perfect, the food was delivered in glass jars and then microved at our own convenience. I was a dubious of that but it was great. There was a good choice of complementary tea, coffee and a couple of bottles of water. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd say the experience is worth the price tag.

It was great Safari experience and first time for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It would have been more wonderful if we arrived little early as we didn’t have enough time to visit the place completely. We will visit again soon with the free second visit tickets offered !

Had a good time, the safari tour was great, so much better than driving around yourself, Clive our guide was amazing. The only let down was the lack of communication regarding areas or facilities that were closing early, we opted to eat before doing the African walk but discovered it had closed, had we completed the walk first it turns out we wouldn't have been able to eat because they stopped serving food, gate staff and signage could have helped us to make the most of the time we had, I understand it was out of season and not as busy, but information regarding early closures would have been appreciated.

Great day out for all family members at all ages! Big variety of animal species from Africa and Asia. Theme Park has a lot of different attractions such as: Ice Age (dinosaurs) Discovery Zone (insects and bats), Sea Lions shows, Fun Fair, Giggly Park (playground for kids) and many more! Myself and my whole family had a fantastic time! :) Highly recommended!

A very enjoyable journey, buying tickets online with a free return ticket is truly great value. During the first visit, I was unaware that besides the drive-through, there was another area for sightseeing. But this time, with the prior knowledge, I can fully enjoy it. It's a place where you can get up close to wild animals, with amusement facilities and rides. You can truly have a full day of fun. My favorite part is the sea lion show. Sea lions are very intelligent and adorable, and the atmosphere of the show is fantastic. Both adults and children really enjoy it. I highly recommend this place, just remember to purchase tickets and make reservations online in advance to enter.

Our first visit as a family to WMSP and by and large; we really enjoyed our time (all day!) in the park. Whilst the tickets were expensive, they do include a return within six months, so it's quite reasonable (provided you use it again!) The safari section of the park was extensive and had a wide variety of wildlife to view up close (including numerous carnivorous cats and dogs!) The only bugbear we had, was that there wasn't enough monitoring of careless visitors blocking the road for long periods and not abiding by the two-lane system which was clearly signposted. The safari took us several hours to get around, which seemed ideal, but bear it in mind before you go in! The theme park side of the park was quite big and had some surprisingly good rides! Queues weren't an issue, but some rides didn't seem to last very long and it seemed like you waited longer for the rides to start than the time you spent on them! Food offerings were fairly expensive, but that isn't to be unexpected in a place like this. What they really lacked is a place to fill up a bottle of water. We will definitely be back!

Amazing visit to the safari today - what huge improvements and expansions have been made to the park since my last visit. Highlight of my visit was feeding the many animals whilst going round. Giraffes at your window is something amazing to experience to be this close to them was really special. £20 ticket and £4 feed bag not bad value at all. Would definitely recommend visiting and will definitely be returning again soon.

Worse than a motorway traffic jam! I’m writing this as we are sitting in a car in a line of traffic and I clearly have too much time on my hands to do this. Do not visit here unless you want to be stuck in traffic with young children. Both my kids have got so fed up of looking at green grass and the lack of animals unless it’s a deer of some sort! This was a birthday treat for my 2 year old and we’ve wasted his day completely. The staff are rude we finally seen a lion in the distance after waiting an hour and as I stopped to show my son the staff in the jeep shouted at me to keep moving!! This place is a money pit they have no consideration for paying customers and they are all about the money. We booked a paw patrol meet and greet but because we got stuck in the chaos we missed that too!! Absolutely ruined my sons birthday and left him bored and my elder soon upset that he didn’t see many animals. Close this place down and put the very few animals they have in a nicer place where they will be looked after. We’ve been coming here for many years and I can honestly say this will be the last time I will spend my hard earned money in a dump like this. Staff need to get some training. Thanks for completely spoiling out valuable time

Thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Safari park! We saw the animals, fed them, went on rides and had a fun day. I like the fact we can return within 6 months included in the price we paid as it makes it more worthwhile. Make sure to get there early if it's a public or school holiday and you'll get to see everything and still have time for the rides (if you wish). As a family with kids it can be really pricey, so I recommend having a packed lunch to save a bit.

The best! Many animals and lots to see and a very good play area. Our favourite was the sea lion show! Very entertaining and so much to learn. The safari park offers really good value for money unlike some others... we absolutely loved it ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ will definitely visit again!

Absolutely brilliant day out! We tried the bus tour, which was fantastic, our guide Don was brilliant, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny guy. We got go learn more about the animals and he knew where best to drive to be able to get a good view. Inside the park it was quiet as it was a school day. Staff where friendly and we got to see some amazing animals. Will definitely be going again.

We haven't been for the actual Safari yet but went for the evening lantern festival and it was amazing. The lantern display was impressive and it was not too busy in the evening. We loved the ice age area and dinosaurs. There are many places to buy food and drink for reasonable prices and toilets available across the place. It's quite a big place to walk around in, although at night not everything was open, such as the rides, it still took us a good two hours to see most. We will be back to do the Safari and see everything, particularly the penguins.

"Wow, where do I begin with West Midlands Safari Park? From the moment we entered, it felt like stepping into a wildlife adventure of a lifetime. Driving through the safari, with lions sauntering past our car and giraffes towering overhead, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. The park's dedication to conservation really struck a chord with me, as I learned about their efforts to protect endangered species. But it wasn't just about the animals; it was the little moments too. Watching a playful monkey swing from tree to tree or feeding a gentle deer at the walkthrough area made me feel like a kid again. And let's not forget the thrilling rides and entertaining shows that added an extra layer of fun to the day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making sure every visitor felt special. Leaving the park, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unforgettable memories made. West Midlands Safari Park isn't just a place to see animals; it's a place to connect with nature, create lasting memories, and leave with a renewed appreciation for our planet's incredible wildlife.

We had a wonderful time. The Safari itself took us about 2.5 hours. But we almost had a look at all the animals in the Safari. The amusement park was well kept and had toilet facilities which were pretty well kept. Food options quite OK. We tried chicken and fries and a slice of Pizza which were both good and not to forget the ice cream from the waffle place. My 3.5 yo was very excited about the dinosaur display park. Pretty neat stuff. Loved all of them. The sea lion show is something not to miss. We couldn't do the reptiles show and the bird show. We may have to come back for that. Couldnt spot the red pandas. All in all a beautiful experience!! Lots if things to keep children entertained throughout the day.

Animals were excellent! Shame about the humans going round the safari park in their cars. Lots of holdups, took us 2hours to go through. Although there are 2 lanes of traffic people were feeding the animals on both sides. The park rangers try they're best to keep people moving. What is needed is to have the left hand lane for "feeder's" and the right hand lane for those who just wish to have a steady cruise around. Adventure park was excellent. Haven't been since before Covid. Some new exciting rides. Lots of improvements and I do like the look of the new lodges that you can stay in.👍

The safari can be a great experience depending on the timing. We went first thing this morning and it was bumper to bumper all the way round. Add that to all of the steep hills and you have a fairly bad driving experience. Especially is you only have a small engine cat like we did. Really struggled to get up some of them where it was very stop start and slow. The second time we went around was just before the safari closed and it was miles better. It felt like a completely different place. Basically no queues (obviously you had to wait where the animals were sitting) and where it was we very quiet there were no issues with the driving and we got much better views of the animals. The non safari part is nothing to rave about. Some nice attractions (bats, parakeets, dinosaurs etc.) and some nice rides for the younger kids. Overall, worth a visit but aim for the quieter times and it'll be great. Covid note: social distancing was very poor and most of the indoor areas like toilets and shops didn't have anyone limiting the number of people going in. And the car park was basically full so there doesn't appear to be any kind of number limiting in general.

This place is AWESOME! My favourite day out. The safari was the busiest I've ever seen it but didn't detract from the fun. We saw all the amazing animals & fed loads of them at the window. I love how tame they are & come over to you. The highlight was the giraffes at the end as thought we had missed them but they all came over & ate out of our hands, loved that! We went to the theme park after, the ice age and dinosaur areas were wonderful & loved feeding the parrots nectar as they fly onto you. There's so much more to see & we didn't get round to it all. It's no Alton Towers for rides but a great way to end the day with a variety for all ages. Highly recommend this place. Only negative was nobody social distanced in the theme park, definitely the most crowded place I've been to but lots of hand sanitiser. Can't wait to go back ❤

Wow! What can I say. This place was amazing. I would recommend to book everything online. The feed is a must! But try and put it all in a container, the boxes they provided can break and then it's all over your car. Feeding the animals was amazing, so much fun! Really friendly animals too and there are notices of what ones to feed and what not too. After the Safari, you then have loads more to do. Rides, spiders, penguins, sea lions. Really is a great full day to do loads!

Oh my goodness!! What an amazing experience. Once we'd checked in and received our gold wrist bands, which gave us 'access all areas', we did the 4 mile park ride around, quite busy but a great way to see the animals, fed a few too!! Took about 2 hours to complete. We then went up to our lodge, which is a 10/15 minute walk through the theme park from the designated car park. We stayed in the Tiger Lodge 'Tesso', this one has a hot tub (not sure about the others). It was fabulous!! Dinner had already been delivered and was in the fridge with fresh milk for making tea/coffee, together with fruit and snacks. Dinner was lovely, as was the breakfast which was delivered to our lodge the following morning. All food is ordered on line when you're sent your 'check-in' information. All of the staff are so lovely and friendly. Our stay was made even more fabulous by our tiger encounters! One very happy lady right here!! 🙌🐅

We love visiting, animals are well cared for park is really clean, we didn't realise winter that all the rides are closed and only the one restaurant open but we still really enjoyed and what's more the kids loved it, we came for our free return and it's so nice to go in summer then return in winter as no queues not stuck in the Safari behind loads of cars, was only allowed to feed the deers but that's fine the giraffes and zebras still stick there head in the car for a nose we can't wait to come back again

  • 5/5 James H. 2 years ago on Google
A good number of animals to see both in car and foot safari. Can be busy and expensive particularly if you purchase food and go on the majority of rides. Purchase a wrist band and take a packed lunch to keep cost down. Ample sanitiser stations across the site. Get a free return within 6 months which adds a little value to an otherwise expensive day out

We went on 31st August. As expected was busy. If you have very young children probably best to do safari later in the afternoon when a bit quieter. A TIP if you don't like the queues for the safari...go on the Africa Walk, you see the same things but with less stress. But I'd say worthwhile seeing other parts first. Nice amusement park and lovely kids play area which mine really enjoyed. Really liked the covered picnic area and we'll maintained toilets. Especially impressed and happy to see there's a hoist toilet. Free parking.

Was such a great day out! We drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back but it was an amazing experience! There were so many animals we got to feed and see! I strongly advise this as an activity or day out for families, friends and everyone! Its an experience that we can enjoy at any age! You pick online to pay an additional fee for animal food and you can feed them all the same food (in zones you are allowed to feed). You get to see the animals real close and feed them. There are many experiences you can choose from, we drove through the safari park and really enjoyed it. I would 100% recommend this place! You get to move around in your own pace and enjoy the view and each animal from a very good distance as seen on some images/videos.

Always a good family day out and worth the money, especially with a free return visit (there are terms but still great value). If on a budget, take your own picnic, there is plenty of parking on site. Best get reasonably early and take tour first. This gives you time for food and other attractions later. Dinosaur trek was great, and kids love it (some exhibits need small TLC, but they are still marvelous). Sea Lion show well worth visiting. All around, there is lots to see and do enjoying a full day out at good value. Go to the website and look at the park map (menu , plan, park map) you can then plan your day to get the best out of your visit. We didn't really use rides, but they are great for young children and those young at heart. I have visited many times over the years and still enjoy it each time.

was a little sceptical after reading some of the recent reviews but we loved the day! visited with my 13 and 9 year old. safari seemed well managed, yes there was lots of waiting but to be expected, mainly due to others stopping in the no stopping lanes or rhinos/lions on the road! we were through in 2 hours and saw the amazing animals up close. Rides and walk through animal areas also great for the kids. A fantastic, value for money day! we will be recommending to others.

We first came about 10 years ago and loved it. We went back mid August 2020 and were very disappointed. Ok the weather didn't help but in a nutshell, they had and were letting far too many people in. The safari was jam packed! Cars were everywhere and they were stopping for a good 5 minutes to feed, take photos and only using 1 lane. The rangers had to keep getting involved to move people on, which also moved the animals on, meaning we saw hardly anything the 2.5 hours it took to drive through it. The theme park was far too overcrowded! They had made an effort in implementing social distancing but hardly anyone was following the one way systems put in place and we saw no more than 5 people wearing a mask. Unacceptable! If they were properly managing how many people and cars they were letting in, I feel the experience would've been a lot better for everyone who went that day. My guess is they are looking to get as many people through the gates to recoup losses from the Lockdown. To sum it up we paid just under £100 to sit in a 4 mile, 2.5 hour long traffic jam which put excessive wear on my clutch, to then get out of the car to be surrounded by idiots who can't grasp basic instructions with regards to safety of themselves and others. We wont be going back. Real shame.

Good experience. Lot to see. one has to plan well to cover all the shows and activities. Children liked the sea lion show. If you are buying tickets for the rides, be careful, some of the interesting rides needs 2 tickets per ride per person. So, it's better to buy the wrist band for unlimited access to the rides.

Visited here today and had a fantastic time. Didn't know the history of the place but it has been open a long time. When we went round the safari park it was more than obvious that the animals were happy and extremely well looked after. The place was immaculate and we took the tour bus. Great choice as our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The tour was a good hour. We got to feed a lot of animals as well. Great fun. The rest of the park was huge and so much more to see and do for all the family. This place really is amazing and well worth a visit.

Loved this park. The safari drive through was brilliant, being able to feed some animals really made a big difference as the animals came right up to the cars. The Zoo was informative and the theme park was a nice addition to fill time. Food was a little pricey but very nice (Dino Diner)

Visited on a Saturday. The safari took some time due to traffic. Was extremely busy . Can get a bit uncomfortable if you drive a manual transmission. Loved the 2 species of rhinos , white tiger and the camels. Lots of animals to see .The giraffes where nice too. I liked the dinosaur exhibit very much. The reptile enclosure was decent . The bat enclosure had a strange smell in it but was good. Overall will recommend. But best to try on week days rather than weekend/bank holidays if possible

Went on a Monday during summer holiday and luckily it wasn’t too busy. We planned to do the safari in the afternoon as it’s advised there will be less traffic, ended up we started at 5pm but since it wasn’t busy, we managed to complete the safari in just one hour. The signage can be made clearer as we seemed to have missed the lions and cheetahs (?). Rest of the park is lovely, we particularly enjoy being able to get so close to the animals. Gifts and merchandise are well chosen and designed. Would recommend visiting this park!

Brilliant day out, purchased the VIP experience for the Sea Lion and Penguins, the staff were fantastic despite having to spend the morning educating a stroppy teenager. They were patient, charismatic and insightful. The park is always a good experience, some attractions were closed due to the development. It's easy to navigate, family friendly, toilets all over the place. If your concerned money take your own lunch has lunch can be quite pricey for very little. The safari was really good, well paced and some of the animals are majestic. Free return tickets given with most visits. Queue early for the shows on busy days. Overnight stays are available in the Lodges

Had a really fun day here. Lots of animals to feed and see up close. Cafe was very good and we will be returning in a few weeks. Only disappointment was the carnivore section. There were only two tigers, no male lions and a small number of white lionesses. Apart from that it was excellent!

Great time at West Midlands safari Park- we got there around 11am and the queue was so big as their was only one person at the ticket station and the system wasn't working! Besides that it was so fun. It wasn't too busy apart from where the giraffes were! Overall great time here!

I absolutely loved it here. The drive-through safari is amazing. Lots of animals to see and feed. They also have a walk through section, which is equally as good. Then, to finish off the day, they have an amusement park with plenty of rides for all ages. A full day out for the whole family. There are plenty of picnic benches if you want to take your own food but plenty of places to buy food when you are there. Well worth a visit. I will definitely be returning.

I drove me and my kids down from Newcastle on the weekend and it was so worth the 4 hour drive. My kids absolutely loved feeding the animals (especially the zebras) from the comfort of our van. We then parked up and went inside the park, the kids loved feeding the penguins and seeing all of the other animals too. Worth every penny, and I recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back!

It was amazing - I have been multiple times! It's well worth investing in an annual pass. I have been in both summer and now October and I think this month's visit was one of the best. All of the animals were out and all had energy as the sun wasn't out too much. The lions were playing right next to the car and the painted dogs walked right in front! The weather couldn't be helped but the animals are always happy, healthy and an excite to see!

The park could really do with a better traffic control system. The safari itself took two hours of choked up traffic. Saw very few of the big cats, but it was midday when we arrived so might have been the wrong time for them. There were ALOT of people here with no social distancing or COVID restrictions of any kind. The rides here had reasonable queues. The food was a fair price but I would recommend the drinks deals. Well worth it especially if you are here all day.

A great family outing! Online booking is essential and some parts of the park you need to wear face masks to enter (i.e Lemur Park). The safari part of the park is enjoyable as long as you are willing to start stop and travel at a crawling pace, it took us just over 2 hours. Have your own snacks, drinks, aswell as any essentials in easy reach. As you cannot leave the car after entering the safari. The amusement park has some good rides but most are aimed at smaller children. There are animal shows throughout he day. But it is very difficult to attend all of them. Some are very entertaining like the Sea Lion Theatre others seemed to be just keepers feeding the animals, not so exciting. But there is something for everyone and great opportunities for photos. The price is a little expensive but you do usually get a free entry for the next time. Food is the usual higher prices found in amusement parks. But there is ample sitting areas to eat and rest along with ample parking space. A great day out!

Only found this wonderful place a few months ago. It can get busy at weekends, but in the week day's it's usually quiet and very peaceful🤗 Met lot's of friendly dog's 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 and their owner's. From the large lake, the smaller pools, water falls and woodland setting, my fur baby loves it to🥰

Such maze of beautiful walks, waterfalls and ponds.. You can walk around here for hours, I actually got lost so be mindful of where you park, as I didn't park on actually car park.. For people who love fishing, great lake for this too.. Perfect for children and adults alike to explore..

Such a wonderful gorgeous day. I could have stayed parked up in the safari feeling the super soft zebras and giraffes all day! Lovely safari and lovely inside the park too. Lots to see and do. Good little number of rides too which is good. Would go again.

Wow what can I say, definitely worth the 6 hours round trip. The safari was amazing managed to see the animals up close and you are even allowed to feed some of them. The rest of the park was awesome although we didn't go on any of the rides you could tell that other people were enjoying them. We unfortunately never got to see any of the lemurs as they were probably hiding from us, the red panda made an appearance and well the other animals were just as fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again but maybe next time will be taking a picnic as the food there was a bit pricey.

Lovely day out. Enjoyed the display of lanterns and the rides. Fun for the whole family. Really enjoyed the dinosaurs at night time. Great photo opportunity for enthusiasts. Spent around 2 hours but would definitely have stayed more if time was on our side. Loads of things to see and do. Recommend going.

Fantastic day out for all the family! The safari bus tour was brilliant, the driver, Clive was really friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the animals. The theme park was good fun although the photo booths for the rides were closed because it was so quiet but that also meant we didn't have to queue for any rides. The animal talks were really interesting and inquisitive. Food is quite expensive in the park so I'd advise to take your own.

Had a great day out just looking at the animals and doing the safari. We will definitely be back to do the rides another day. Easily a two day park. Very busy doing the safari. We went to the park first then did the safari after because it was so busy. Its was a lot quiter later on in the day except for the end part feeding the giraffes. Definitely recommend visiting.

Fabulous day out here! We visited on a weekday in school time so, other than school trips, it was quite quiet! The safari was great, so many animals to see who were all happy to come close to the cars. It took us about an hour and a half to get around, I imagine it would take a lot longer on a busy day. The park is great and has a lovely amount of things to see and do. We enjoyed the sea-lion show and the ice age exhibition! Dinosaur land was amazing, and the Jurassic Park toilet was an added bonus! We had lunch at the Dino diner, which was quick and pretty good...standard food, pizza and chips etc. Also inside the park are Hippo's, reptiles, lemurs, meerkats etc Everyone was lovely but make sure you get a hand stamp if you go into the park then exit and want to come back in, you're totally allowed to do this but once your tickets have been scanned that's it, it comes up as an error if you try to scan again...a strange system for something you're allowed to do! The theme park there is also great, it's an added cost but pretty reasonable, £12 for wrist bands or ride tickets for £2 each. A good range of rides for all ages, our 2 year old found a few he could go on! All in all a fab day and we'll visit again!

The drive through Safari was first rate loved every minute got some great pictures. The walk around was also worth doing although I'm not sure about watching Hippos next to a fun fair was the best but Hippos didn't seem to be bothered by it. O ky reasons 4 stars was because some bits were shut, to be fair it looked as if there had been flooding as there were sand bags in some of these places. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit.

We had great day here with our 2 years old toddler, it was certainly the best day of our kiddo’s life as he explored many animals here first time. They offered everything here including rides, restaurants, cafes and shops. They have separate areas for penguins, aquarium, birds, reptiles and bugs which you can walk through. Anyway highly recommended place for family. They also got Safari lodges if you want to spend your days here with view of walking rhinos and elephants in front of your bedroom. ❤️

Such a great experience ! Me and my husband went here and we had such a lovely time and it was very interactive so children would love it, you get the opportunity to feed the animals and the safari is massive so there is no rush , you also get a repeat of the animals like they are scattered everywhere. Definitely a top spot for summer !

The animals were good to see after waiting in a queue and then told we had to buy tickets from the kiosk back at the centre. The displays were good but some of the models especially in the ice Age section were damaged probably vandalism. The grounds were a little run down. Sad to see most of the tree ferns had died. The sea lion show was amazing. Bring your own food because its pretty expensive especially if you've a family.

Fantastic safari park - with no monkies to wreck your car ! Lots of friendly deer, and zebra to feed from your car window. Lots of amazing animals to see , tigers , lions , giraffe elephants etc. long and enjoyable safari drive and also a really good area to do on food after. Highly recommended sea lion show - very entertaining. Also large fun fair area for kids. Fantastic day out, and love that we can use Tesco points to fund it. 10/10.

Stayed in Tiger lodge. Highly recommended. Very clean and luxury inside, the tigers were always up and about, there was a male and female and a small baby tiger Cub which didn't look old so think we were lucky. Food in the lodges was amazing, tasty and perfectly cooked, breakfast hamper was also faultless. Love the additional touches like the hamper full of little snacks and fruit. Overall amazing experience, beds were so comfy in the lodges and they have everything you need.

Really good day out feeding the animals and getting up close and personal. The sea lion show was excellent with great social distancing measures and really attentive staff to assist with prams and those who struggle with steps. The pizza and chicken food place is also reasonably priced considering you often pay a premium in places like this. Overall I couldn't recommend enough. Also - no crazy monkey drive through so don't worry about your cars!!

The safari was brilliant, my boys absolutely loved it despite the rain. We didn't eat at the restaurants as we took a picnic but there was a couple open. The toilets had a one way system but no one monitoring them and there some people were entering the wrong way. The lemurs enclosure requires masks to be worn by anyone over 3yr old. Apart from that it was a great day out

Fantastic place. My daughter was so excited to feed the animals I thought she may burst! Completely made her day feeding a giraffe! Managed to get on a fair few rides with only minor wait times (no more that 20 minutes). The food we had was very good (Burger Co.), The only criticism was the burger could have done with some sauce as standard rather than having to add it yourself and sacrifice one for the chips.

Fantastic family day out with a huge variety of safari animals. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals. The free return ticket is a lovely bonus that we happily used within a month. My 4 children loved the experience. The amusement Park rides are a bit overpriced but we enjoyed them (although the snake slide was a let down). Gigly Park playground is perfect for families. Areas for parents to wind down with a drink whilst children play. Toilets also onsite so that was useful. We will return again next summer.

We have visited the park this winter and I have to say I will never go back. The tiger enclosure was tiny and with so much space available around the park. There are dogs that have more space than those tigers. It is cruel to keep such animals in a space like that.. I was extremely disappointed The elephants had some space but no much either. The giraffes were trapped behind a wired fence which made it difficult to even get close to them. Very expensive for what they offer and the conditions the animals are living in.

Love Leasowes Park and so do my boys ~ lots of trails and paths to follow and fantastic scenery ! My boys love sledging in the snow here. Would give 5 stars but the paths can get very muddy at times and slippy under foot after heavy rain. Unfortunately the saddest part is the amount of dog poo recently that irresponsible dog owners don't clean up particularly along the canal path at the top of the park.

We also done the VIP tour and this was fantastic and really worth doing as you get close up to the animals and see them being fed and also pet and feed the rhinos and giraffes. Absolutely fantastic place, really can't say a bad word. Animals seemed happy, loads of room to roam, clearly had a good relationship relationship the park rangers, was just a really pleasant visit. We spent about an hour and a half driving through the safari - with a box of animal feed each, of course! Zoo area was brilliant, a personal favourite of mine was the bat cave! A bit spooky but very cool. Also managed to catch the meerkat tall which was brilliant! We got theme park wristbands and managed to get multiple turns on rides! We visited on a Friday afternoon, and it was very quiet (yay!). Great selection of rides for adults and kids both, staff were also very friendly (with the exception of the moody ginger girl on the duck stand). Honestly, already excited to return! What a fantastic, clean, entertaining place. We arrived 18 minutes after the doors opened and stayed until closing time- wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful safari experience. We have spent the entire day having fun with my kids (age 6 and 8 years). It's fun a day for the whole family. You get the chance to feed the animals, see the lions, cheetah and tigers from a very close distance (locked car window of course). The drive takes a minimum of one hour full of excitement. Then you can visit the park (no additional fees) and get to see more animals, including penguins, reptiles, bat, snakes, fishes and have various rides. Jurassic Park visit was extraordinary. Feeding lorikeet birds was my favourite part of the visit. Hot food and meals are available and lots of onsite shops worth a visit as well- theyhave lots of animal toys, mugs, etc

Don't forget to pick up your animal feed from the entrance!

A bit of a different experience as I went to see the lanterns at night, rather than go around the safari part of the park - but it was very well managed, all queues were worked through pretty quickly and there was plenty of parking. The lanterns themselves were fantastic - were food, gifts, and rides were all open as other things to do with the wider park being closed at night. Defintely recommend.

An amazing day at West Midland Safari Park,, it is my very first time of being so close to the wildlife animals and feeding them 🤣 They are so HUGE!!!!! There are 2 main areas: 🚗 Safari Drive-Through 🎡 Walk-through exhibits and Adventure Theme Park After feeding my favourite Giraffe, I’ve watched the sea lion shows , ice age and dinosaur exhibition at the theme park. Unfortunately we were unable to meet the red pandas in person as they were sleeping 💤 Highly recommend this safari park 🦒🐘🦓🐆 to everyone ... Thank you so much for this memorable experience 🌟

Lovely place to spend all day! Lots of animals that get really close with a big amusement park! Totally worth the price, buying tickets online could get a free return within 6 months! Would definitely come back for things I didn't get to see!!

The safari was interesting and moved fairly freely for the most part. The entrance and exit were very slow due to giraffes blocking the way with people feeding them. This is fine at the entrance, and we gave them some food too, but there really needs to be an "I don't want to feed the giraffes again" exit lane as we were stuck in a traffic queue for half an hour waiting for people who were, and at this point we'd been in the car for 1.5 hours and needed the loo! The walk-round part of the park was ok, and mostly taken up by a large amusement/rides section, which would be great if you have kids.

Came here during the school holidays and it’s a fantastic day out for the family. I’d advisor pre booking and going for the early slots so you can spend all afternoon in the park. The safari takes about 45 mins- 1 hour and there is loads to see. We brought some animal food which isn’t badly priced. Once in the park you can do see live shows, we did the sea lion show which was excellent. I would advise buying ride wristbands as well as it’s cheaper than buying the tokens.

Absolutely loved the Safari! Like nothing I'd ever done in the UK. You get sooo close to the animals and they have so much space to roam and play. They look so well looker after and not bothered by the cars, which was something I wad worried about before going. Highly recommend! Takes about 2 hours to drive around so definitely use the toilet before and take snacks and drinks.

Such an incredible day!! The safari park was so organised and it was not stressful at all when driving around. Feeding the animals was also SO much fun since they were really friendly and sweet. Thank you for the great experience❤️ P.S. Our favourite animals were the giraffes🤭

This is an excellent place to spend an entire day, or even several! Housing a drive through safari, with plenty of animals to see up close, a walk through zoo with many interesting exhibits and shows and a theme park, set among beautiful, tranquil scenery with plenty to entertain all ages. There is plenty of dining opportunities and even some charming, safari themed holiday lodges. If you like nature, I highly recommend this place. The only criticisms are that the safari, as enjoyable as it is, can get very busy and you may need to wait behind gates for some time. Patience is very much advised if looking to visit on busy days. Also, I do feel the opening hours should be extended in the summer, as a visit in the evening would be a very enjoyable experience. Otherwise, I would consider this among the best zoos in the UK. Definitely a place worth visiting.

A lovely place. There were long queues around the carnivores as it was the summer holidays so would allow up to 2 hours as the website says. The walkthrough park and theme park were excellent, we loved the ice age and living dinosaurs sections. A fantastic day out.

Very amazing place. There are lots of animals and very enjoyable moments for kids. It gives experience to touch the different animals directly as they come on the way. Little disappointment because Lions as there not much Lions in this zoo. Theme park is good. Python are amazing.

Fabulous day out, got there when it opened, just under 2 hours to drive around, don't be rushed to go round quicker, you'll miss some if the animals. Lunch in Dino diner, sea lion show and lots to see when you walk around. Great for all ages.

The safari park was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did a fantastic job with the animals, rides, the young lady who sold me stawberry fudge was lovely and helpful. The lady in reception at the entrance before we walked past the gift shops was a bit moody and after she spoke to me about the ride tickets I asked her to slow down as she spoke to fast then she slowed down but sounded a little angry like she didn't want to be here. I understand that working on weekends is not fun and enjoyable but please don't go to work in anger towards customers. Other than that I think the safari park is a fantastic day trip in the UK.

The safari was not all that as there were so many cars and timed gates to get through to different sections of the safari. If you have a disability be prepared to spend some time at the safari, as there are no concessions for disabled people, if they need to get out of Safari there was no short cuts, would be good if there was a way out for the people who needed to get out of the safari before it ended. We just had to abandon half the safari and take a short cut through one of the fields to get out as the kids needed the toilet. There were too many cars which made the safari experience not worth it, we went in the afternoon maybe mornings are quieter. Otherwise the park was well worth it, got on rides fairly quickly as there were no queues. Staff were on hand to help, friendly and very approachable. Toilets are available and are disabled friendly. There are a lot of seating areas dotted around for you to take a break. And a few eateries where you can sit and enjoy your food. Best thing to book online to get slightly cheaper tickets and to get a complimentary free return ticket which you can use within 6 months of your visit. Would have given 5* but the safari park bit spoiled it.

This is a beautiful and magical place. First time here with my family. We stayed in the RHINO LODGE and other family members stayed in the LION LODGE. Magical experience. Having the animals so close to you, in your back yard, beautiful. Hearing their sounds was awesome. Beautiful lodges and each one is themed to the animal. The safari drive was cool, seeing loads of different animals up close and getting to feed some of them. I felt like a kid again. It was fun. They have a little theme park, great when you have children, went on a few rides. Great for children. They have pizza and burger restaurants. Within the theme park they have animal enclosures (penguins, bats, merrcats etc) also shop to treat yourself. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely. The park looks like it is well looked after and the animals look happy :) Great day out and a great stay. Definitely recommend. Will come back again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
