    I have tried a few different meal delivery services recently and was so disappointed with the food from this organisation. I was impressed with their delivery of the meals however the quality of the meals is really disappointing. I expected more from a company with "Good Meal" in the name. Tiny portion of protein in the Roast Lamb meal and the lamb was mostly fat! When I took the Roast Lamb meal out of the microwave and peeled back the lid I was very underwhelmed, mash was gluggy and lamb was gray - see photo. $14.40 for this meal. The rest of the meals were not very tasty and the vegetables had zero flavour. What a shame.

    My experience with this supplier has been such that I will never order from them again. But I doubt this message will ever see the light of day.

    I love these guys! Great Food, Great Service, so easy. My son just loves the nutritious meals. It makes my life so much easier. It's like home cooking. So much better than the others. Do yourself a favour and try them :)

    Mash potatoes are powdered. Heat in microwave and it’s just sloshy water with granules. Same frozen beans and carrots in nearly every meal. Even in the rice. Not much selection. Definitely cannot cater for dietary needs. Not thinking of people with disabilities, how about you place on front of box, or offer for extra price, stickers with big writing eg: heat for 5mins. Reading back of labels for dementia is ridiculous. A lot if the meat is processed. Roast lamb is good. You certainly can’t live with same meals day in day out every week. Read back of contents. Potato is 35%. Not real potato as shown in their picture. My 2 meals were bangers and Mash and butter chicken.

    Their shepherds pie was served to us in the hospital. It is not a good meal and there was no joy for the food. It was absolute misery in a plastic bowl!

    Having the sauce already on the fish or chicken dishes makes them and the vegetables soggy and not edible. It would be much better if the sauces were in seperate little pots then we could add it - if we wanted it - personally for fish I prefer a wedge of lemon. Also meals I got with my first order, and enjoyed, have not been available for about six weeks now, leaving me having to repeat the same meals-boring-or buying them from local restaurants which is rather costly. Some other meals I have had to smother in pepper to be able to eat them.

    Placed an order before cut off for what was supposed to be the following week but was not offered delivery then and instead it would be delivered 15days after I placed the order. Immediately contacted them online and had multiple responses to me telling me the customer service manager would be calling me as they had a solution for me being unable to order meals and have them delivered in a timely manner. 3 weeks of waiting and I still haven't had that phone call despite being reassured they would call me in the second week after not hearing from them the first time. The representative on the phone blamed me for choosing the day for delivery and inferred I was clearly incapable of ordering online. Meanwhile I was still waiting for the customer service manager to call me and fix the problem as they could see that I should be able to have it delivered the week after I ordered not 2 weeks after I ordered. While waiting my order was refunded. Again I was told the customer service manager would call me to sort it out. Got to the end of 3 weeks and I finally get a call... was it the customer service manager? Nope it was a regular call centre worker asking me if I'd like to place another order with the good meal co. Considering I didn't get the first order I wouldn't consider it placing another order as it would have been my first order with them. Yet again I looked online and was only offered delivery 2 weeks after paying despite 2 deliveries a week to my area. Essentially to get weekly meals set up I'd have to go without food for 2 weeks even though I'd paid for the meals before cut off. Unfortunately the company seems to be very poorly run and I have now cancelled my service agreement with the company and will now look for another company who has enough respect for their clients to at least call to fix things they say they will call about. I was looking forward to trying this company but after 3 weeks and countless contact with the company with no resolution being offered, it became clear to me that i likely won't get what i order anyway if they cant even follow up a phone call. Sadly not worth the stress.

    I order these meals for elderly friends and they are very happy with them. However the delivery driver cannot read or adhere to simple directions and leave boxes where it is easier to access. I have put in request on every order and nothing changes.
