    Purchased a few “quality” items of furniture including dining chairs. Had some issues with the chairs. Was informed their products do not have a warranty. Stuck with 10 chairs that are just for show as they become loose if you sit on them. Go elsewhere that can guarantee their merchandise.

    Customer service needs to be improved greatly. Shop assistants only greet those they believe can make a sale. Due to being ignored by the shop assistant, I gave up on making a purchase. If you are not one of them, good luck getting their attention.

    Disappointed as I ordered some presents online for my wife’s birthday. I ordered Indigo bubble bath and a bathrobe. Instead I received Indigo hand and body lotion and the bath robe while it feels very soft and luxurious has dirt marks on the inside 😩

    I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service. I have purchased a set of boxes (2 boxes), but only one has arrived. After chasing the store, they said one of the boxes were out of stock. This should have been communicated prior the delivery. I ended up paying a delivery fee more expensive than the single items delivered and they don't want to refund me as requested. Now I have one box which by itself it was not what I wanted in the first place. They stopped responding my emails. I would not purchase there again and I would not recommend purchasing online with them

    Hamptons style/coastal inspired homewares store, which also has a kitchen section, children's toys and clothes, even a cafe - a real emporium. Well worth a visit for anyone with an interest in interiors.

    I had lunch with a friend here yesterday and was so disappointed. The menu is very limited, they had no lasagne left so we ordered frittata and salad. It arrived with a measly salad and one small slice of frittata - at $18.95 each that’s a joke. I commented to the waitress that the portions were very small, she said she would mention to the chef but that was the last we heard I left there feeling hungry and ripped off. The coffee was nice but we won’t be returning. Very very disappointed as it’s my favourite store but will give the cafe a miss.

    Really love their home decor, homeware and accessories. They also have a small gated play area for mums to enjoy their shopping.

    Bought 2 beautiful large expensive Xmas candles with 3 wicks prior to Christmas. Tried lighting them on Xmas Eve- both the third wick refused to burn. I called this morning to tell them that there must be a fault and was happy to return them to the shop for them to try and resolve. Basically was told we’ve never had this happen before and that they couldn’t do anything to help me. I have been a great supporter of this shop over the years but sadly today will be avoiding shopping there ever again.

    Just purchased the Grand Manhattan pre-lit Christmas tree for $1600 and the lights don’t work. Was told by staff that a lot of them have faulty adapters. Really disappointing for such an expensive tree. Poor quality control Alfresco.

NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES CAUTION to all prospective ALFRESCO EMPORIUM shoppers Ask for RETURN/EXCHANGE policy BEFORE you make a purchase Make sure you are 100% confident with your choice, as ALFRESCO EMPORIUM will NOT under any circumstances allow returns....period!! ONCE you have PAID for a purchase, there is NO exchange, NO refund. ONLINE ORDERS - if your item arrives damaged, you have ONLY 48hrs to notify ALFRESCO EMPORIUM to be entitled to a replacement An online purchase, personally picked up from store to avoid breakage to framed picture, was offered return in the same pristine condition as received, was refused return or exchange. Return request details were emailed approx.10 days post pickup followed by a phone call 2 days later. NO refund, NO exchange under ANY circumstance, even on full priced, current advertised online stock. Never experienced such point blank refusal on legitimate & reasonable request grounds. TOTALLY UNREASONABLE & INCONSIDERATE sale staff & management. First NEGATIVE review ever posted, on what was previously considered a beautiful & enticing shop.

    The service has completely changed. I am a regular customer and purchase rather large orders every visit, florist customer service was very rude. I ask for something and it is not done. Paying high prices for low quality. I will be taking my business elsewhere. It is a shame.

    The food, coffee, and service are all good. Definitely would come back again and again. We got truffle mushroom cheese toastie and a mango-passionfruit coconut cake. Especially the cake, not too sweet, moist, good texture. Coffee is smooth and a good temperature. 👍

    Love, love, love their dark brown rattan range. Have brought serviette holder, mid size trays and small slimline trays. When ordered mid 2022 small trays weren't in stock and was asked if wanted refund or to wait and I was ok to wait. Then towards end of year contact mobile of person been dealing with to find out what going on with trays and no response so yesterday (9.1) contacted via email and response brilliant. Said person I'd been dealing with had left but trays were in stock and would be sent out immediately and they were because I got them express post today. Thank you Alfresco would buy from you in future.
