We
were
down
by
the
river
and
decided
to
walk
up
a
high
staircase
to
find
Mirajazz.
We
hadn’t
drank
any
port
tonic
this
trip,
and
thought
it
was
due
time.
The
entrance
can
be
a
little
bit
confusing
as
the
name
of
the
place
is
on
a
door
that
is
open
so
you
don’t
immediately
see
it.
You
immediately
see
another
businesses
name.
You
walk
up
another
set
of
stairs
in
the
building
and
will
get
to
an
open
space.
All
the
patrons
were
sitting
out
on
the
balcony.
It
is
a
very
casual
place
people
come
for
the
sunset,
but
today
was
cloudy,
so
we
just
looked
out
over
the
river
listening
to
the
foreign
accents,
many
American.
The
waiter
was
friendly
and
spoke
English.
He
brought
us
menus
and
took
our
order
of
two
port
tonics,
and
a
ham
and
cheese
plate.
The
platter
was
thin
folded
Ham,
Walnuts,
triangular
wedges
of
hard
white
cheese,
strips
of
toasted
white
bread,
a
small
bowl
of
jam,
and
a
small
bowl
of
olive
oil,
with
a
dot
of
balsamic
vinegar
that
was
not
proportionate
to
the
oil.
Unfortunately,
there
was
no
live
music
while
we
were
there
that
day.
Just
music
over
the
speakers.
This
was
a
Thursday
around
6
to
7
PM.
We
paid
inside,
and
were
asked
for
our
table
number.
The
toilets
are
inside
across
from
the
cashier
area
with
a
shared
sink.
