We took the 6 bridges tour on Thursday, May 26th at 13:30. The ticket fare is 15€/person. We were to told to be at the collection point 15 min before a scheduled boarding time. When we arrived the was enormous queue waiting to board a boat. There was a limited number of outdoor seats, other seats were located in the cabin. Boading was arranged on first come first seated basis. The crew only collected the tickets and did not care about seating arrangements at all. Not much attention was given to safety either. The white boxes placed on the deck which supposedly contained life jackets were closed and secured with celotape. The was a long queue lined up for the next trip when we return to the shore.

Terrible tour, it was raining so the windows inside were completely fogged up, could not see a thing. Asked them if they can clear with aircon during tour and they wouldn't, complained after the tour and they didnt care, would NOT recommend. Rude staff.

I’m laughing reading the previous reviews - people complaining that the crew didn’t help them with the seating arrangements, that there was a long queue. People do a little research before you embark on such an HOUR adventure lol We got our tickets online a day ahead and YES you have to validate the ticket and you get another little ticket to get on board Big deal lol Today June 2023 we did the 11am cruise and we got there 15 minutes early and we got seats outside Yes the crew doesn’t tell you watch your step or where the life vests are but you will survive We enjoyed very much This is a gorgeous city and that was a very pleasant way to spend an hour admiring it from the water

Tomas Do Douro, Porto: Porto isn’t complete without getting on a cruise to take in the UNESCO beauty of Porto with the breath-taking town on one side and the elegant port cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia on the other side. Point Luiz bridge is the pedestrian artery of both sides and the cruise will give you a vista of all 3 bridges at the far end. There’s English commentary so you do get a good orientation. It’s an easy 50 minute boat ride and a must as a Porto 101. #eatstylishtravelstylish

On our first trip to Porto we book the Porto: 6 Bridges Douro River Cruise. It was about 1 hour and did what it said - we saw the 6 birdges of Porto. The dialogue had English and was perfect - easy to understand. I would recommend this cruise to get your bearing while in Porto.

Lovely Douro 6-Bridges boat ride. Quite informative, particularly after a very disappointing hop on - hop off bus tour. The information provided was also loud and clear as well. We did the sunset cruise and while the boat was packed (220 people supposedly), it was a very nice experience to traverse the main part of the river in the fading light.

The cruise was fine with helpful prerecorded audio tour that was very audible. The boat was nice and big with large enough upper deck. But the employees were very apathetic and a bit rude. I know the company practically has monopoly but I feel the staff could be better trained. It doesn’t appear the management cares though.

The 6 bridges cruise is beautiful and narrated in 4 languages. It really shows you Porto from a different point of view. Lots of useful information. You don’t find staff during the cruise, so ask questions when checking in at the kiosk. The boarding line is long. If you wait to join it, then you won’t have a choice of seat. We had no issue just standing. It gave us a great view over seated peoples’ heads. You pass everything twice, so plenty of time to look around.

Great cruise! The views were fantastic and they explained it very well! They did such a good job for the cruise that I didn’t even realize that it had been 40 minutes already!

Amazing experience. The booking staff Solange was lovely and even suggested us the best seats and recommended getting a drink before going on board. Loved the whole experience. Thank you Solange :)

We bought tickets online. The confirmation of our purchase came with QR-coded digital tickets and instructed us to prepare these electronic tickets upon arrival. After waiting for nearly half an hour to board, we were informed that we would have to enter a new line to obtain paper tickets. We nearly missed our boat. If I had not cut this secondary line to inform the ticket vendor of our situation, the boat would have left without us. It was a serious oversight by the boat company! I sincerely hope they revise their policies or at the very least their instructions.

Yesterday 15.45, 15 minutes before our scheduled 6 bridge trip, my wallet was stolen in the cue for the trip. The ticket was in it. After trying to find the thief, without success, I had to go to the police station. Before that, we tried to change the ticket for today. We went to your office at 16.20, a time where we should have been on the boat. We told our story to the desk lady, who explained us, that we had to buy new tickets. So we did it. But it is really a shame!! We did not use them because we were robbed!! What a lack of empathy! We did not only lose all our money in the wallet, but also 60 € for the new tickets!!

Very rude staff, clear evidence of ticket on my phone. I was given a receipt as validation but they did not explain that this would be essential to board. I had only seen the person attending before 20 minutes prior and she knows I had the ticket but yet refused me to board. Appalling behavior and unable to direct towards how to escalate this or obtain help to obtain a refund or help. The boat had limited seating outdoors anyway and would NOT recommend them

Nice tour of the bridges, boat quite comfortable but showing its age a little. If you have a receipt from one of the town's sellers you need to exchange it for a ticket in the kiosk at the jetty.

Nice cruise and friendly service. A bit overpriced.

Nice and affordable 50 min boat tour to just get a glimpse of the Douro river when passing through Porto. Do not expect anything exciting, but good if you do not have much time.

We really enjoyed our boat tour. Clear narration in multiple languages including English. A very relaxing way to spend a late afternoon on our first day in Porto.

Went on the 6 bridges tour with Tomaz do Douro. You don't really need to book in advance except if you go for the evening sunset tour maybe. For rest of the day, it is enough to go there and book( mid November times). You get a discount on the Porto card. The tour is well organised and lasts for 50 minutes. Take a jacket along, it can get cold with the wind.

Our 1 day Porto-Regua cruise on the Douro exceeded our expectations. Attentive service, friendly staff, good continental breakfast, excellent lunch including wine and porto, safe and very clean boat and excellent commentaries along the main points of interest.

Awful, too busy, not a remarkable boot trip. Look for a less massive Trip!

If you are looking for a way to spend about 45 minutes on the Douro River, this cruise will do the trick. It's pretty affordable at 15 Euro a person. Don't throw away your ticket because it acts as a voucher to get a tasting of Port on the other side of the River in Gaia!

Not only was the 6 bridges tour excellent, the people are fantastic. We forgot a book bag on board, called a day later with no expectations of finding it only to see they not only found it but kept it at the office for pickup and transferred it to the hotel reception next door as I could only pick it up 2 days later and after hours. Truly nice people.

There were 4/5 languages speaking non stop making it unbearable and not understandable, got nothing but an headache. They claim that the "tour" is 50 minutes but what they don't say is that 15-20 minutes from that are being spent on people boarding the boat.
