When in Fort Kochi stay here. The building is beautiful with traditional decor. The rooms are a great size and the beds are extremely comfortable. The pool area is absolutely stunning… one of the best if not the best in Fort Kochi. Breakfast was great with many buffet options including freshly cooked Western and Indian options. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but it was busy which is a good sign. We also didn’t partake in the afternoon tea which was included. The staff were very friendly and checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

Mr Sajeesh and his team provide excellent service with a smile and helped make my father’s birthday celebration even more special. The Sovereign Suite (Room 215) is well worth the splurge, and I would highly recommend it for special occasions.

I recently stayed at Oceanview Resort, and it was an outstanding experience. The room was spacious and clean.The amenities were excellent, and the staff, especially receptionist at the front desk, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway!

We came for a massage - the service was amazing and very professional. Unfortunately, there was a small misunderstanding about the pricing. The prices that are displayed on the menu are without taxes. It was quite a surprise when we saw the final bill, 18% were added to the note - a significant sum overall. There is a small statement at the end saying that taxes might apply, but doesn’t say how much nor was really explained to us. The manager had a good service spirit and deleveraged the taxes. However, please inform your customers in advance about it or simply include them in the price, otherwise your customers might feel a bit “cheated”

I had dinner there on the 14th of May 23. It was one of the best food I ever had in my life. Biriyani was very very good, Appam and Karimeen curry were super. I have no words to describe the taste.

No comment on the hotel just n the restaurant where we have just had a horrific experience We had to wait an age for our food (40mins) after already having taken 20mins to get a waiter to come and take our order. Finally the food arrived, though still no sign of our drinks. After repeated reminders we finally got most of our drinks in drinks and drabs- though eventually gave up on the banana smoothie that never arrived The food was not great and in some cases was not even as described in the menu. My wife’s pizza was supposed to be made with goats cheese and sun dried tomatoes but there was not so much as a goats hair to be seen… Asked for the bill as we wanted to leave and get out and see the town but that was another 25min ordeal. Our last day in Kerala has been cut short by our over extended stay in this appalling, mosquito-infested hole…

It’s quite a drive from the airport but worth it. Our room was large, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. We would have loved to stay here for an extended period. A heritage place with beautiful colour palette, spacious rooms, wonderful atmosphere! However, some things could improve too - like letting guests bring their friends to the rooms to chat - they are not allowed to in the evenings, strangely. And a slightly better breakfast spread maybe.

Super convenient for exploring the area, especially if you don't have a lot of time. We stayed in a Classic Room, which was tastefully decorated and roomy enough for 2 people. AC worked well. The pool area is lovely as well. What made our stay memorable was the impeccable service from every single staff member we interacted with - from the front desk person who greeted us at 5:30 am to the restaurant servers to the staff who came to promptly fix a lighting issue we had in the room. They went above and beyond to help us pay for Eravikulam National Park tickets because the website didn't allow international credit cards, and one of the staff used his personal card to pay instead. And when we left very early (before breakfast was served), they packed us a delicious meal with sandwiches, muffins, fruit, water so we were well taken care of. This is one of the finest boutique hotels in India we stayed at. Would not hesitate to recommend to all.

Forte Kochi is holds a special place for myself and my family. My wife and I often go there to enjoy a quiet dinner , with great ambiance and good food. They are also very accommodating to children and provide special baby high chairs which makes it easy to feed a fussy toddler. The hotel is set in a classic heritage building and almost transports you to a different era with a blend of Jewish and Portuguese architecture the ambiance is just amazing.Will definitely come back for more good food and memorable occasions. A gem of an hotel in the centre of the touristic area of Cochin. This historic hotel itself is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. You'll have everything you need. A very nice mixture of old and new. The pool is great too. The room was spatious and equipped for all your needs. Breakfast options are good, both continental and local food is available. In general, all staff is very courteous and incredibly helpfull. I give this 5 stars because of the personnel though. I had a number of visits to plan in the wider Kerala region and they took care of all my transportation needs right away. These taxis were at very competitive prices. This hotel really made the difference for me during my stay in Cochin.

Given the location of this property, it was easy for us to walk to all the tourist destinations. If you do visit the property make sure to strike up a conversation with the front desk and staff. They are super sweet and give you a detailed history of the place and also their recommendations for cafes and tourist spots were commendable. We loved their in-house multi-cuisine restaurant, Jetty. If you're a vegetarian then you you'll enjoy their south Indian food. We loved the whole experience of watching the kathakali show live and it's a must when you visit forte Kochi. I'd say this property is perfect to hang-out with family or friends and is absolutely worth every penny.

Restaurant Jettys is very famous and throng by walk-in visitors to have meals. Lovely and delicious food. Services are top notch, professional and smiling staff.

It's a very nice property in the heart of Fort kochi. Rooms are neat and tidy but somehow lacking in maintenance. Food is good with many options has a nice wine and beer bar....No whisky.

We spent three wonderful nights here. Of all the hotels in Fort Kochi, it is certainly the nicest. Not only are the rooms beautifully decorated with colourful tiling and wooden furniture, the hotel’s location just off Princess Street places it at a walking distance from nearly everything. The massages here are also worth mentioning. Resmi was very very good (my wife swears she had healing hands). As a 5 star, it does come at a higher price tag than most. However, if you can afford it, it’s definitely worth the money you will spend.

Smack bang in the middle of the historic part of town. Beautifully renovated old building. Short walk from the Chinese Fishing Nets, ferry wharf, and other attractions.

I ordered fish curry and appam at the restaurant. Fish was not at all fresh and it was hard. Egg curry and Iced tea was average. Appam was good. The interiors are class apart.
