We had the opportunity to stay at Ibex for about 3 days. It was one of the best stays that we have experienced in our trip to the mountains. The views from this property, the cleanliness of the place, the courteousness of the staff, just about everything made this holiday so very special for us. If you are wanting to unwind, get away from the grind of the city, enjoy the mountain views and do nothing but relax, I would highly recommend this place. I want to take a moment to mention the people who are the backbone of such a wonderful place. The property manager Mr Karthik, the service staff Siva and the cook Mr Moorthy made our stay so memorable. The food was just out of the world. It was so delicious that we happily over ate on all the days we stayed here. We are already looking forward to coming here soon! :) thank you for such a beautiful experience!

Serene location with excellent view. Great hospitality. Stay was so comfortable. Very tastefully decorated place. The food was also like homemade food. Especially the breakfast spread. All in all, would recommend to everyone!

Nice and calm place to stay but about 3km.interier front the main road . Game fire on request was arranged Food was found as excellent as a homely and tasty food was served Care taker was Mr Kartik and Services was fully doen by Mr Siva was energetic and cheerful boy . I will surely recommend for a family to stay and relay for 2 or more days . Fyi we two family with 4 persons stayed in Annexure.

What an incredible experience! The scenic hills provided a stunning backdrop, and the birdwatching opportunities were a hit with our group of nature enthusiasts. A wonderful family stay! The Airbnb was stunning, offering breathtaking scenery that delighted our eyes. Mr. Rajesh and his team were incredibly helpful, and we savored the delightful home-cooked meals they provided. From the picturesque surroundings to the exceptional hospitality, our experience was truly unforgettable.

Recently we spent our vacation in Ibex, Kotagiri. We were really amazed by the location, views, cleanliness and upholstery of the resort. This is a small resort with only 4 units which is wonderful in terms of individual care and usability. Food was perfect and one of our best from all other resort stays in and around ooty and kerala. We would defo will keep visiting this place. We 4 of us went (with a toddler) and we got utmost helps from Mr Rajesh (site manger), Shiva co-ordinator and cook, HK staffs. We wanted to share our gratitude to all of them for making our vacation memorable. Cons: Bit costly, Food was on higher side (price), location is slightly tough to reach. turn on gps and download location before you uphill. Thanks

A beautiful place which is somewhat in between a homestay and a commercial property. It's tucked away in a quiet location in Kotagiri and we found it to be peaceful and cosy to spend time in a small group. The staff are a wonderful bunch and always eager to serve you and your requests. The food is also great, we stuck to South Indian food and were not disappointed. Rajesh the manager is ever so enthusiastic and wants to make sure your stay is comfortable and memorable. He obliged all our requests and dietary requirements and took good care of us. The main villa is beautiful with two bedrooms while the second villa is with two smaller rooms. All kept cleanly. There are many places to explore around ibex, you can go for a Trek and visit other attractions in and around Kotagiri, speak to Rajesh and he will be more than happy to assist you.

We had stayed for two nights.. Two families with kids.. The property was very well maintained.. There was an in house family that took care of the property who were very courteous and helpful.. The food was great . Property was cleaned and maintained well the following day.. The location and view from the rooms were great.. There were two comfortable rooms that gave enough privacy for the two of our families and a big comfortable common that allowed kids to play and adults to spend time after hours... Overall it's a great place to lazily spend your weekend in a place away from all the urban chaos and amidst peace and beauty..

I stayed at Ibex Kotagiri with my family for 2 nights. The place was extremely well kept and very tastefully done. The place is situated slightly in a remote area however there is no problem if you have a car in hand. Its a very scenic place and has a breathtaking landscape. The stand out was the hospitality I received from the home keepers/ manager. Surya and Siva made sure every need of mine was satisfied and took extreme care of all of us including my 3yr old kid. The food was a delight. A special mention to the cook!! Overall it was a great experience staying at this property.

Location was lovely and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was super delicious! , Siva and Surya were with their service and gave us suggestions for sightseeing as well. We loved our stay. A good spot to chill out either as a couple or as a group of friends/family.

1. Scenic views, beautiful location, well maintained, clean property. 2. Delicious, homely food. 3. Amazing, hospitable staff. Surya and Siva give great service and are very approachable. 4. Insects can be a problem if you forget to switch off lights in hallways and restrooms. 5. A small generator works during power cut. Hot water in cold weather will be a problem. We were supplied with hot water by the staff on request. Overall a trip we enjoyed. Would recommend this place if you want to enjoy quiet and peace in a beautiful place.

Pros - 1. Excellent service. Surya is great at his job. He is just a call away and always has a smile on his face . He gets things done immediately. 2. Food - food is really good. The vegetarian menu is limited but it's pretty good . Cons 1. Value for money - the property is priced too high for the value it offers. It's not a resort or a hotel but a homestay. The rooms are nice and clean but there are no hotel like amenities. It's good for a group if you are planning to spend a night here but not if you are on a sight seeing kind of vacation. 2. Hotel management - the local staff is pretty good but they can't do much if you have an issue . The hotel senior management is not available and can only be contacted through email. Also they are bad at resolving issues . So if you have a problem with the hotel or booking, you can't do much .
