Located at the Navel part of cauvery river basin. You can take your car till the location of temple as they have provided bridge for light motor vehicle. Very peaceful place. Take sufficient time to get positive energy. Bathing in river is not allowed. However if local boat person there he can take you on local boat over the river. Just enjoy the peaceful time.

Fantastic experience.. The time I went there was Superb climate and drizzling.. Worshipped and enjoy a lot. Best place for peace. There is no public transport facility near temple. You have to choose Auto, Taxi, Car or 2wheeler.

This temple is situated in the middle of the river from the starting at kudagu and the sea where Cauvery ends. And also it’s in the middle of Cauvery. As per history the shiva deity is worshipped by Agasthiar to get rid off his Bramhathi dosam. Murugan statue has it’s right leg forward to welcome Agasthiar when he returns from the south

Please don't enter or play in the water, many children lost their lives in water around the temple. One should be very careful if they are going with children. Be aware even they know swimming. Don't believe the locals at any cost. They are false routing the outsiders. Any playful activities here will end in tragic especially to the children of outsiders.

Amazing place. It’s a hidden gem. Just 12 Kms from Erode, a great holy place to visit. It’s like an island which is surrounded by waters on all the sides. Now they have constructed a new bridge for car and bike travel. Place is well maintained and fully divine. Must visit place if you are nearby.

Temple is located inside the river. It was one of the very old temple..now they hve made the bridge construction to reach temple road earlier you have to go parasel to reach temple..well maintained.. history of this temple was capture and its root as well(add photo).was have pleasant experience in recent visit.

Very nice place. A bridge is there. We can go till the temple. Temple timing is morning 7am to 12pm and evening 4pm to 6pm. It is located surrounded by 4 sides of river cauvery. Located in Erode, Tamilnadu. 15kms from erode. It is said that Lingam is created by Agathiyar using sand. Amman is not having any weapons. And usually amman will be situated right of sivan...But in this temple it is situated left.

Great temple in a great location. We had rainfall when we where there and the temple is so Devine. Felt very fortunate and blessed after the visit. There is Parisal boating to reach here too. When you are around do not miss the chance and definitely visit.

நட்டாற்றீஸ்வரர் கோவில் ( Nattaatreeswarar Kovil ) - Temple located in the middle of a river. This is a small Sivan temple located in a hillock located in the middle of the river Cauvery at a scenic location between Erode and Kodumudi. Earlier, people used to take a parisal and cross the river to reach the temple. Now a bridge has been built connecting the shore and the temple.

Temple is getting ready for Kumbabishegam on June 1st., except the moolavar,other deities are closed with a cloth. It will be closed till June 1st. A very good temple located near erode, surrounded by a good Village. Sad to see there's very less water flowing. Car parking is available near the temple, can cross the bridge and park. Historical temple,good maintenance, cleanliness is good . Satisfied dharshan. The way to temple is excellent surrounded by greenary.

Very nice place to go with family to spend full day.. Well made old temple.. We will go wherever we come this side and have time.. We can take family and kids to this place.. Safe place to have bath and Parisal ride...

Newly constructed temple.. but the idol is believed to be a few thousand years old.. There is a tree which is said to be 6,500 yrs old.. The complete temple is located in the center of the cauvery river as like the lord's name.. Amazing place.. must visit!

An island temple which is situation in middle of kavery river. Divine and serene. Please check with locals before you go to this temple as the temple will be closed if the water level of the river raises.

Good place for a peaceful day. We went on Aadi 18 and it was a nice experience. The pandit in the temple are friendly and give us helpful details and guidance. Better to travel by 2 wheeler. 4 wheelers need to be stopped early before the bridge.

Oldest temple that resides exactly in the middle of river cauvery! Never seen such temple else where! Known for April 14th special worship at this temple and it will be fully crowded on that day! Have been going to this temple for 30 years now and always exciting to visit here. Earlier there was not concrete bridge but now they have built a strong pillar ridge making it possible to visit anytime.
