The
room
was
very
well
insulated,
we
slept
well.
However,
the
room
wasn't
very
clean,
there
were
only
bathing
towels
and
towels
to
dry
your
hands,
and
only
1
bathing
suite
for
2
people.
There
is
an
above
average
amount
of
services
that
require
an
extra
fee
and
the
minibar
prices
are
to
high
for
the
underwhelming,
run
of
the
mill
selection.
Only
some
of
the
staff
are
above
average
when
it
comes
to
hospitality.
Some
will
only
greet
you
if
you
greet
them
first,
even
at
the
reception.
And
we
had
an
exceptionally
upsetting
encounter
with
the
service
in
the
restaurant:
The
waiter
didn't
seem
to
know
the
menu
or
the
ingredients
(imho
a
big
no-no
if
you
work
in
a
restaurant,
I'm
a
trained
cook
myself).
We
asked,
what
the
vegetarian
curry
(which
was
listed
in
the
"fish"
section
of
the
menu)
contains.
He
went
to
the
kitchen
and
came
back
with
the
very
unspecific
answer
"vegetables".
The
main
ingredient
was
chicken-substitute,
we
asked
what's
in
it
when
it
was
served,
since
we
didn't
expect
that.
We
asked
what's
in
it,
since
my
wife
can't
eat
soy.
Turns
out,
it
was
soy
based.
We
didn't
complain
though
and
we
weren't
mad
about
this
faux
pas,
we
didn't
asked
for
any
sort
of
compensation
and
told
them,
that
we
will
simply
pull
the
soy
out
of
the
Curry.
But
the
service
staff
explicitly
stated,
without
shame,
that
it's
my
wifes
"at
fault",
since
he
told
us,
that
it
contains
vegetables,
which
is
extremely
inappropriate.
We
didn't
complain
about
the
incident
since
we
didn't
want
to
ruin
our
stay
with
even
more
discussions
with
and
indiscretions
of
such
types
staff
members.
The
food
was
not
bad,
but
somewhat
underwhelming.
The
stay
wasn't
to
bad,
the
above
mentioned
incident
was
a
negligable
stain
on
your
stay
in
brussels,
but
we
expected
way
better
from
a
5-star
hotel.
