We celebrated our wedding in this cozy place and can definitely recommend it for a meal or bigger and smaller events. The owners are very professional and warm at the same time, very flexible and good at solving problems that happened the last minute due to our shift in the time schedule. Our day was amazing: food was very tasty and beautifully served, BBQ outside was so cozy and service was very good. A secret gem of Leuven in a very nice location with a pleasant terrace. Thank you once again for a beautiful day that we will remember forever!

Everything was fine: the meal, the beers and service too. Only dutch menü was but the waitress was vers helpful and suggest fine meals.

We had quite a large group, and we were doing a restaurant and city tour. This brasserie served our starters and later on in the evening, our dessert. The food was delicious and I wish we'd been able to have our main course here too. The staff was very kind and accommodating, especially considering that the company that arranged our tour didn't send our orders in advance for some reason. But they worked with us and offered some delicious alternatives. The white wines were quite good too!

Tried to charge us 30€ extra for two people (on a party of 10) who couldn't join last minute due to Covid. Notwithstanding that 8 people had dinner, dessert and several drinks.

Quaint ally restaurant with a formal serving menu. Desserts can use more imagination and serving staff have a hard time matching the service expectations.

Never again. The location is great but once we had our food it all turned around. Cold dishes, overcooked salmon and beef stew with canned mushrooms. The explanation of the service was that they had a big group in advance which is not reasonable for 25€ per dish. Very disappointing.

Quiet, pastoral location tucked in a quaint courtyard in the heart of Leuven. A welcome reprieve from the numerous touristy restaurants. Excellent cocktails, decent wine selection.Food was fresh and well-prepared. Enthusiastic and welcoming proprietor and staff.

Excellent ambient, in the heart of the city, but poor vegetarian options. Only a vegan Lasagna was available; vegan starter was prepared like meat. Not recommended for hard core vegetarians, but probably good for vegans. Drink was prepared well.

The food was cold when served. I have had the same dish for half the price and at least twice the quality. The location is what sells this place but that's about it.

Nice place if you want something a bit different. Food is good & interesting and the "Beer tasting" menu can compliment it quite nicely. Not for every night though (65 Eur / person)

Beautiful place and well worth the detour. Although we didn't eat there the food looked amazing. Beers reasonably priced and food prices in the ' slightly classy' range Ie good food so be prepared to pay for that rather than a burger joint type price.
