Certainly not to the quality I would expect for 48€ per kilo which includes bone. Wine is reasonably priced however. I left feeling unfortunately like I had considerably overpaid for a meal that under delivered and for that reason while it isn't a bad restaurant, I wouldn't recommend it to friends nor will I return.

We really enjoyed a fantastic long lunch here. The mariscos and steak were of the very highest quality. The service could not have been better, and the wine was good value.

Once we entered we realised we were the first to be seated however customer service was friendly and by the time we left the place was full of locals. However, what you eat here you can eat in any other place 30% cheaper at least. The charged 50€/kg for the chop while what you get is 30€/kg quality. A bit disapointed with it. Lobster was really good. Dessert (cheese cake 6'5/10) and Panchetina 9/10.

We had a phenomenal experience at Asado Portuetxe recently. We are not native Spanish speakers and I was a bit overwhelmed by the wine list as a traveler. The Son/owner took our order and our server was very helpful in suggesting a wine to pair with the steak, which was outstanding. I would highly recommend. The portion was large and could be shared by three people, we had enough for sandwiches the next day. We also had the white asparagus and a salad which were both very good. Even though we were full, we went with the strawberry cheesecake for desert after the couple next to us ordered it...fantastic. I highly recommend this place, it is a unique location and quite a ways away from the city center but certainly worth the trip. This was our best meal in Donostia/San Sebastian
