Unas vistas 360° desde un lugar privilegiado. Merece mucho la pena subir andando o en bicicleta. Para los que quieran subir en coche, hay carretera asfaltada hasta arriba con un pequeño parking gratuito. Se puede subir desde Rentería, desde Martutene (por Garbera) y desde Astigarraga. Ahora en verano el fuerte es visitable de miércoles a domingo en horario de mañana (10:00 a 14:00) y de tarde (16:00 a 18:00). Hay un centro de interpretación y visitas guiadas. Es un buen plan para ir con niños. En estos momentos no está abierto el bar/restaurante.

An ideal place to visit in good weather. The views are wonderful and the place is quite well maintained and has many places to explore. Open both morning and afternoon, although they close at noon. You can tour both the exterior and interior areas and visit the different rooms and locations of the cannons that defended the fort. Although it has a restaurant inside, it also has a picnic area so you can bring food to spend the day. It has a small playground where the little ones can entertain themselves.

I loved it, it is very pretty and well cared for. The statues that are with the cannons give it more reality and there are also exhibitions in its rooms. Easy access with an elevator and very beautiful views.

It is an impressive and beautiful structure, with a great interesting history, admission is free, at the information office they explain everything very well, the guy is very friendly, he even orients me with some hiking routes, he gives me a brochure. The views from the top floor are spectacular, you can see Donostia, lezo, passages and more... there are toilets, free parking, you can enter with dogs, there are three floors and there is an elevator. Unfortunately the fort needs maintenance and care, I saw several dead pigeons inside the enclosure. The bathrooms are scary to enter because they are so dark.

We loved the place… I went with my family of five and it was worth it! . The staff were great and attentive. There is a park next door and picnic areas for a good snack.

Fort construit à l'intérieur d'une colline. Gratuit. Parc avec jeux pour enfants. Petit train/balade à 4€/adultes, 2€/enfant, pour monter au fort mais sans intérêt car peu de chemin à parcourir. Superbe vue à 360 degrés. Fort à voir.

A beautiful but very neglected construction. The food area and the park are not pruned, they have a good design but they are also too neglected NOTE: Excellent view of the coastal part and Mount JAIZKIBEL.

Está muy bien conservado, más pequeño de lo que me esperaba. Las vistas desde arriba son increíblemente bonitas. Suelen tener una exposición en el interior. Hice la visita guiada. La recomiendo si quieres saber algo más sobre la historia del fuerte y sus alrededores. Muy amables. Gracias!!

Batería de finales del S. XIX en perfecto estado de conservación, merece la pena visitarla.

Sobre el monte del mismo nombre, el fuerte de San Marcos es una construcción militar que alberga una exposición, una oficina de información y una vistas estupendas de media Guipúzcoa.

Fuimos con los niños a ver el fuerte, tiene muy buena pinta para pasar la tarde. Hay un parque para niños y mesas para hacer una merendola o para ir de picnic. No pudimos verlo por dentro porque estaba cerrado o no supimos encontrar el acceso. Volveremos otro dia para visitarlo por dentro.

Fuerte histórico, situado estratégicamente que ofrece unas vistas geniales de los lugares de alrededor. Cuenta con aparcamiento y un parque infantil en las inmediaciones. Recomendable asegurarse de que está abierto, ya que suele permanecer cerrado al público 6 meses, o mas.
