This
hostel
is
really
just
a
place
to
sleep.
The
location
is
awesome,
right
next
to
the
river
walk
and
close
to
downtown
and
both
beaches.
Besides
that,
there
was
basically
no
community
spaces
except
the
dining
table
in
the
kitchen
which
no
one
used.
The
bunk
places
were
horribly
shaky
(getting
into
my
top
bunk
I
was
genuinely
worried
I
was
going
to
pull
the
whole
thing
to
the
ground,
and
as
the
person
in
the
lower
bunk
shifted,
the
whole
bed
shook
and
creaked
which
woke
me
in
the
morning).
There
is
good
security
in
the
hostel
though-
in
the
evening
the
front
doors
are
locked
and
you
use
one
of
the
keys
they
give
you
to
open
it
(or
if
someone
is
right
there,
they
will
often
wave
their
hand
for
the
inside
motion
detector).
San
Sebastian
does
have
a
lot
of
public
spaces
though
and
the
hostel
is
less
than
one
block
from
the
path
along
the
river
which
is
very
beautiful
and
frequented
by
the
locals.
The
fact
that
there
were
no
community
spaces
in
this
hostel
didn’t
really
bother
me
as
I
loved
wandering
around
the
downtown
to
the
MANY
public
gathering
spaces
and
parks.
Exploring/hiking
the
peaks
in
the
area
was
lots
of
fun
and
provided
great
views.
HIKE
URGULL
AT
SUNSET!!
You
won’t
regret
it.
I
should
mention
that
their
hostelworld
description
is
far
from
true.
The
rooms
are
not
soundproof,
the
downstairs
bathroom
(serving
half
of
the
rooms)
is
tiny,
and
my
room
did
not
have
reading
lamps
or
hooks.
There
was
simply
an
outlet
and
you
had
to
keep
your
belongings
for
the
night
on
your
bed
with
you.
No
sort
of
lights
in
the
bunks,
curtains,
or
any
other
conveniences
that
most
other
hostels
offer.
I
would
recommend
hanging
out
at
Zurriola
beach
as
it
seemed
to
be
more
locals
(also
less
busy)
plus
you
can
watch
all
of
the
surfers.
Of
course
La
Concha
is
right
next
to
plenty
of
shops
and
other
cool
spots.
I
hope
to
return
but
will
likely
stay
at
a
different
hostel.
