What a weird Hostel!!! I understand that we live in a modern time with digital solutions etc. but the concept of the place makes a normal hostel-life difficult. Everything happens through some online platform and digital solutions. Feels like you almost need to scan a QR code before you can to take a sh... People regularly have trouble checking in online and need to contact someone through an automatic phone if they have any issues. There is NOBODY available at the reception at all times and the people behind the bar can not help with any issue concerning your booking! The fact that you have to enter a 10 digit code every time you want to enter the building and the room makes it even more annoying. The neighbours all have stickers on their windows that say "Koisi Guests Keep Quiet!" so the reputation was/is most likely not the best in the area.... You are not allowed to consume your own food downstairs and there is not even a real kitchen equipped with the basics. There are signs everywhere about what you shouldn't do. Location is quite far from the city center so not that good. Will definitely not recommend this place! Hostels are supposed to be simple accomodations where people can effortlessly connect with each other without following dozens of rules and using useless and complicated solutions just to make it seem more modern and trendy...

The bad rating is NOT because of the local staff, but because of the concept: I do not like to have NO contact person that welcomes you at the hostel. The facilities work but to me do not appear to be well maintained. In total for me it felt rather like a functional place to sleep than a nice place to stay.

The room was good (pretty small) and hostel was clean, however, would not recommend for a group of backpackers or young travellers. On hostel world a bar is advertised insinuating a community area. There is no operating bar exclusive for hostel visitors which is false advertising as it is not in operation and very dusty. They have one burger shop downstairs which is public and they sell basic drinks for about 12 euros. The staff were pretty rude in every encounter and overall there was no atmosphere in this hostel. I don’t not recommend it for anyone, but if you are looking to mingle with other travellers this is not the place for you

Clean, comfortable and safe! What's better than that? Easy access, comfortable and beautiful rooms with private bathrooms in each one of them. I had a really good experience staying at this place for three nights. Everything is a positive for this place. The only small negative thing can be about the location but this lies on everyone's preferences and priorities. The walk until there is just beautiful and breathtaking so why would someone make it a big fuss? The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. If you need towels they cost €3. You can pay through an online platform and collect them immediately. The bar downstairs is open only on specific times. It serves pastries, breakfast and some deserts as well. Coffees, drinks in really cheap prices.

Tiny beds and rather poor mattresses. Nice bar. A lot of self-service. Extra charge for female travellers.

The hostel is alright. Sleeping in a 8-bedroom for the first time was an experience I wanted to make, but will never do again. You will wake up a lot of times during the night due to noises. But I guess it’s normal and reasoning the low price. I really liked the breakfast. 5 Euros for a fresh orange juice, a coffee and fruits and yoghurt. (You can pick 4 options: Toast/ Croissants, Fruits, …)

The review is about the terrible experiences of what they called online 24 hour reception so far. Before the reservation I was told to contact them on my arrival for a question. But once I made the call, the receptionist woman who worked remotely off the site was not being helpful and not willing to provide the information. For their online message system, you have to go through automated questions every single time to have someone to email you back. And you have to provide the same information every single time. The service was not helpful either. It was not what I had expected before I made the reservation. What they had promised before my reservation was not delivered. It’s a hostel and the concept they are using is the opposite to what people were looking for in a hostel.

Nice and good hostel with shared mixed rooms :) I met a so nice people here. Really nice view across the city. Good price. Online check-in really great. Only the breakfest is too small to pilgrims :) But everything was Fun and kind.

47 euro for a single room with double bed and private bathroom in Barcelona. I dont know in which slum have you been before for half the price but this is"muy barato" Everything was super clean. No dust. Bathroom with 5 towels. Hair drier, paper x2, eco soap, and the mirror to shave. Best accomodation since a while

I really liked the hostel but there are some serious cleanliness issues. The 8 bed room I stayed in was very musty because there's not enough hooks in the room for wet towels ect. So peoples towels don't dry and create a musty smell. Then I witnessed the housekeeper rinsing the shower and sink but not cleaning it with cleaner; by day 3 ants were crawling everywhere in the bathroom.

Beds in dormitories are constructed like closed boxes in which if you are taller than 1.80m, you won't be able to straighten your legs and sleep comfortable. Was not clean in general. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect for a family of 6 traveling with a dog that needs to share one room. Friendly staff at the cafeteria and front desk. We liked the convenience of flexible check in and access via PIN code. One aspect to be improved would be to give indications on the operation of the air conditioner on the web site (the fact that it’s controlled via request through WhatsApp as it is operated centrally), along with the indications they do provide about parking. Other than that, everything perfect, we did enjoy our stay.

Chill hostel. A bit impersonal (check-in and costumer care all online; reception couldn’t do anything about my partner being put in another room) but clean and has a nice and cheap breakfast cafe. Location is outside of the touristy center/old town: there is a fun street with lots of bars close by, but city center is a bit of a walk.

I contracted and became quite ill with Covid while staying here. Rooming with 6-8 strangers a night in a shared space), I thought a refund for one night was fair so I could leave and not infect everyone in my room. (which at first they said they would do, given I sent them photos of my test, which I did.) However, they refused and preferred me to stay in the room, which I found inconsiderate to everyone in the else in my room. Covid, flu, or any other simliar illness; common courtesy is to try not to expose and infect others around you. The hotel disagreed and I found this disheartening, which colored my experience negatively. Otherwise is decent hostel. Clean. And Lobby has a nice work space with juice/ coffee bar.

Be careful. You will lose a lot of money if you have an emergency and have to cancel your Camino del Norte. The hostel will not waiver your 60+ Euros if you suddenly get COVID which is a sad shame unlike most other alburgues, hostels and even hotels along the way. Make sure to have travel insurance.

A great hostel for backpackers. The rooms are tiny, so you really have just your bed and locker, but there's a huge terrace, which is amazing. Although I wish the terrace would be cleaned more often. Good location really close to the old town and the beach. Friendly staff.

In a small room there were 6 bunk beds and lockers were provided only you needed pad lock to lock it. Beds were comfy. You just needed to put bedsheet and pillow cover by yourself. There was little privacy, half of the side was covered. You have charging slot and a pouch to put your stuff. Room had AC so temperature was right to sleep in. Shower and Toilet were In room only so that was nice. They have self check in through online system where you can get code to enter. Check out was also online. Also they have machine setup there to do check in and check out. Otherwise staff is always available to help you out. I booked breakfast online with 10 % discount, which included salty or sweet option, so for 5 Euro that was nice breakfast. Location 9/10 Beds 8/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Staff 10/10 Check-in/Check out 10/10 Privacy 9/10 Disliked · Like half side of bed was covered for rest half could be a curtain to have more privacy because when at night you switch on light in your bedside it won't affect other people in room.

The best place I have ever been. Despite the affordable price, it has a good view and the colambian receptionist is very polite and helpful. Totally worth of trying.

The dorms are tiny so you really just have your bed and locker. But there's a huge terrace, which is really nice, although it should be cleaned more often. Overall the hostel is clean and comfortable. The location is good too. People who write that it's far away – don't be lazy! It's around 12 min walking from the Concha beach and there are lots of bars round the corner.

In spite of the late check-in hour you still have to put on your own the bedsheets. Nobody welcomes you at the reception.

Very noisy, beds are uncomfortable and bathroom plumbing is bad. We requested and paid for a late check out then an hour before they cancelled it. Stay elsewhere.

Comfy beds! But super small so if your tall or hate small spaced probs not for you. Also book a room without ensuite as it was a bit smaller in these rooms

It is a modern way of having a hostel but i Will always prefer a recepcionist Who receives you and be there at the work place. The place looks beautiful and it has a swimming pool. It Will be better if there are curtains in every bed to have more privacy and a kitchen/fridge/boiler or microwave ir you want to prepare a Coffee at least.

Amazing place. Modern, clean, good location in Bilbao. A bit expensive though. But I guess it worth it

The location of the hostel is quite good. Connection to the bus, close to the beach. Unfortunately were there a lot of problems with the check-in-system. I didn't receive any e-mails to check-in. When I was there I had to call the call center, but every time after two minutes the connections was interrupted. The person who worked in the hostel couldn't answer my questions. When we were finally in our room, it wasn't clean, neither the beds nor the bathroom. Furthermore the lock in the bathroom didn't work. Nice was the café/bar inside the hostel.

We just arrived, andinstallation seem quite good, there is a lot of people i guess students or some sorts travelling for long french weekend but the experience so far is great. The checkin was 100% online and just with a simple code you can access your dorm, private in ly case, 4 beds, for me my wife and 3 year old daugther. Lets see tomorrow for the breakfast

  • 4/5 Marta N. 1 year ago on Google
All good but the dorm room for 6 was rather on the small side maybe 10-12m2. You could feel cramped when most people in the room. Very nice breakfast with fresh juice. Location OK. You can easily walk to the beach.

Terrible. The beds are nice, private with personal lamp & plug. The rest of the place....no paper towels, not really a kitchen...no dishes, cups, glasses, sink or silverware. Only a microwave and tiny toaster oven. Couldn't use the AC, because it was leaking water all over the room, so he had to turn it off and it was hot! The sign says only good vibes...no vibes!

Friendly staff, clean, good drinks and food, we found into our room a dog bed, so it was simply perfect.

Location was perfect! The appartement thoroughly met expectations in terms of space, design , cleanliness and equipment. Either for cooking, resting or for sleeping, the appartement caters for all your needs. The whole family enjoyed their stay, including our pets!

excellent value for money breakfast was great (go for extra bacon & eggs) family room is great & clean for a stay (3nights) , few minutes away from the city center (walk or bus n5). great & efficient staff. although there is an option for car park, be aware that the carpark (public) is about 1km walk away from the hostel,.....but do opt for car park as there is NO parking space avalaible nearby. overall, we would return.
