If
we
could
give
ten
stars
we
would.
This
was
without
doubt
the
best
tour
we’ve
had
in
any
city.
Our
guide
(forgive
me
if
I
spell
it
wrong)
Alain,
was
perfect:
he
kept
the
pace
suitable
for
my
wife
(who
is
not
a
great
rider)
explained
history
and
culture,
and
seemed
eager
to
show
us
this
marvelous
city.
The
bikes
were
in
good
shape
and
once
you
got
used
to
the
disorientation
caused
by
the
frame
mounted
front
basket
(it’s
failure
to
move
with
handlebar
movement
throws
you
off
at
first)
the
bikes
were
easy
to
ride
up
even
some
steep
hills
thanks
to
the
Bosch
power
plant.
I
say
if
you
only
have
time
to
do
one
thing
in
San
Sebastián,
this
should
be
it.
If
you
are
staying
a
while,
this
should
be
the
first
Ning
you
do
because
you
will
be
rapidly
oriented
to
the
city.
Alain
even
gave
us
great
food
recommendations.
Two
thumbs
up,
three
Michelin
stars.
A
must
do.
When
I
go
back
to
San
Sebastián,
i
will
definitely
go
back
to
these
guys.
After
San
Sebastián
we
went
to
Bilbao,
which
-sorry
Alain-
I
liked
better.
I
only
wish
you
could
have
been
there
to
give
us
a
bike
tour
of
that
amazing
city.
Thank
you
again.
See
you
soon.
OH,
VERY
IMPORTANT.
Book
on
line
in
advance
DIRECTLY
THROUGH
THEIR
WEB
SITE,
NOT
THROUGH
A
INTERMEDIARY!
The
intermediary
or
hotel
operator
told
us,
takes
around
30%,
which
is
in
my
mind
outrageous,and
this
is
a
small
operation
they
can’t
charge
what
they
do
for
a
3
hour
tour
and
pay
these
usurious
rates.
Be
kind
and
book
with
them
directly.
Just
FYI.
