My husband, me and our friends spent three superb nights at beautiful family hotel Atalaia , visiting San Sebastian and the surrounding area , since it is only 20 minutes by car from San Sebastian . Easy to get there , using Google maps . Certainly you need a car . Quiet area , quiet rooms . It should be four stars , since it has all the credentials to be a four star hotel : spacious rooms, comfortable beds , fluffy towels , nice garden , free and easy parking, free and strong Wi Fi . Rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine, what a treat !!! Body lotion, shower cap are among the treats . Breakfast is soooo tasty and sumptuous . Last but not least : sweet Maria and her husband !!! so sweet , caring and efficient people !!!wish you the best .

I see that other reviewers have used the word GEM in their opinion of this hotel. We wholeheartedly agree. We have stayed in the hotels that cost double or triple the price of this place and not been as good. The beds are divine to sleep in and the room is spacious and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice too. We didn’t get to enjoy the meal in the restaurant, which is only open in the daytime but on our arrival walked through it and could smell some very delicious food being prepared and enjoyed by diners. Our breakfast this morning was delicious and plentiful. The staff are delightful. We would certainly stay here again. We also had two small dogs with us who were made to feel welcome.

Great family run hotel right of the motorway, but still very quiet. We had a large room with a great bathroom and excellent air conditioning. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Everything is very clean and parking is safe. Perfect stop with dogs.

I spent the night here. My wife and our 2 dogs. It was just an overnight stop over. Nice simple clean rooms a sizable garden. The surprise came when we went down for breakfast. Which was, spectacular. Turns out the owner prides himself on the food and just the breakfast is enough to know he is serious about food. Very friendly staff and don't be put off by the industrial surroundings. I will be returning for sure for a more substantial meal and to stay.

Fantastic hotel for 70 euros including breakfast. It is out of the way for San Sebastian approx 30 euros for taxi but an ideal base if you have a car. Room was excellent with nice touches including razor and toothbrush. Bed large and comfortable. Shower excellent, staff rally friendly and the 17 euro lunch is magnificent - changes every day. Great find and thanks!

amazing hotel, staff and service. fantastic rooms. close to main road however the windows are soundproof so we heard nothing. our pets were very welcome and the staff are incredibly friendly. within 5 mins walk there is a nice commercial complex which includes many restaurants and tapas bars. we will return!!

It was a very good hotel. Very friendly staff, tasteful breakfast and the seroundings were very well kept. We just stayed for one day. For passing tro to the south you find a very cheap tankstation near bye.

I will give this hotel 5 stars right away. It’s all brand new and well maintained, very spacious rooms with greenery all around. Close to airport, highway and golf course. The sound of the birds singing makes your day. We didn’t eat here, but there was a function “wedding” and we saw the table arrangement and the dishes presented, top class quality.

Well situated next to the highway and to a large shopping mall. Very friendly service from wife and husband owners and their staff. Excellent food using fresh produce from own garden. Modern and comfortable. No dinners.

This place is a hidden gem! The rooms were great, it's right next to a gas station and major highway, and the breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. They welcomed us, along with our 30kg dog and baby, with open arms. Thanks for an amazing experience!

A lovely clean Hotel, rooms are large with free toiletries and walk in shower. Good breakfast for €12 extra. Restaurant is open lunchtime but not in evening

Excellent hotel that's quickly reachable from the highway. Room was top notch and the service and breakfast fantastic. Great price quality balance. Much recommended!
