To
add
insult
to
injury,
we
attempted
to
dine
at
their
restaurant
tonight,
but
they
were
closed
despite
what
their
own
website
had
indicated.
We
then
tried
to
order
room
services
but
was
hung
up
on.
Finally
succeeded
in
ordering
some
food,
but
was
sent
rancid
food.
Upon
bringing
it
to
the
staffs
attention,
it
was
met
with
contention
and
annoyance.
Tried
explaining
they
should
check
the
food
item
as
to
not
getting
anyone
sick..and
was
told
they
checked
and
it
was
fine.
My
wife
has
a
bacherlors
in
the
culinary
arts
and
has
been
a
professional
chef
for
the
past
15
years.
She's
the
one
that
had
to
spit
out
frozen
edamame.
------Edited

The
property
is
lovely
and
well
maintained,
but
for
a
4
star
hotel,
it
misses
the
mark
on
service.
1.
Upon
checking
in,
I
was
promised
a
premium
experience;
including
a
dedicated
area
with
staff
members
ensuring
a
frictionless
experience.
Well,
that
was
far
from
the
case.
The
entire
time
I
was
checking
in,
the
staff
member
was
interested
at
everyone
else.
She
was
distracted
and
looking
at
everyone
else
and
failed
to
make
eye
contact
the
entire
time.
It
felt
as
if
I
was
inconveniencing
her.
Not
exactly
a
great
start
to
a
4-star
premium
experience.
2.
We
had
booked
two
nights
in
one
of
their
suites.
Upon
entering
the
room,
it
was
extremely
hot
and
it
took
us
quite
some
time
to
figure
things
out.
Staff
members
did
not
assist
with
our
luggage
nor
were
we
shown
to
our
rooms.
The
only
explanation
was
a
sheet
of
paper
that
poorly
explained
certain
features
of
the
hotel.
Didn't
know
that
a
premium
experience
required
me
to
go
back
to
school
to
study.
3.
We
needed
dry
cleaning
done.
Called
down
to
the
front
desk
to
see
if
this
was
a
service
the
hotel
provided.
They
confirmed,
but
asked
me
to
bring
my
dry
cleaning
to
the
front
desk.
Not
sure
what
the
thought
process
is
here
for
a
4
star
premium
experience...
4.
If
you
have
to
blow
your
nose,
better
pack
your
own
tissues.
No
tissues
to
be
found
anywhere
in
the
room.
5.
I
should
have
known
better
after
the
lack
of
bottles
of
water
for
the
guest....
They
have
a
coffee
machine
in
the
hotel
room,
but
to
be
honest,
when
I'm
on
vacation,
I
rather
spend
the
extra
couple
of
bucks
to
have
it
prepared.
Silly
me
to
expect
that
this
was
possible
at
a
4
star
hotel.
We
went
down
to
the
restaurant
asking
to
see
if
we
can
get
a
cup
of
coffee,
but
was
denied.
In
fact
I
was
told
that
it's
not
possible...
Coffee
is
served
only
if
you
pay
for
the
entire
breakfast
buffet.
I
asked
a
second
time
with
whom
I
am
going
to
assume
was
hotel
management.
He
confirmed
that
this
was
the
case,
but
offered
the
bar
that
was
not
opened
or
the
Cafe
a
block
away
(but
there
was
a
Cafe
across
the
street).
While
I
certainly
can
cough
up
some
of
these
contentions
to
cultural
differences,
but
I
would
hope
that
a
hotel
serving
international
guests
would
take
a
moment
and
understand
the
needs
and
expectations
of
their
international
guests.
Ultimately
what
they
are
offering
here
is
a
beautifully
renovated
hotel
room
with
subpar
service.
