Our room felt new, was spacious and clean, and had a lovely balcony and view towards the mountains. The renovation of the old home that is now the hotel feels very architectural and is amazing in how it blends the old with the new in a very sympathetic way. The bar and restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch - and right through until late for dinner and drinks. We had dinner one night and it was as good as any of the food we enjoyed in the old town. Parking was very convenient and although outside the area was secure at night. It really felt like our home away from home. Highly recommend ❤️!

On arrival I was greeted by Marco, who spoke English fluently, but was more than happy to speak Spanish slowly for me as I am currently learning. I took my evening meal in the hotel restaurant, and despite not having any vegan options, they were happy to adapt a couple of their dishes for me, which were simple but well executed. I'll defintely return on my next visit to San Sebastian.

The renovation of this older estate home into a moden, comfortable hotel was very well done. We liked the outdoor seating and on-site restaurant. Food was good. There is noise from the busy road, which is to be expected in this busy city. It is a 25 minute walk to the old town.

We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. We are a couple on a family holiday that wanted access to San Sebastian and Pasaia by bike (where the rest of our family stayed). We found this pretty easy to do and cycling to and around San Sebastian is particularly beautiful! The hotel rents out bikes and there is a handy long cycle route to these locations so we felt very safe. As in the other reviews, the bikes need a little maintenance. Staff were quite happy to swap when we found one of the pedals was slightly loose. The person who welcomed us was especially friendly and helpful. He made some excellent recommendations for food, drink, travel and places to visit. He put us at ease and made us feel very excited for our stay. His English is excellent which was handy because our Spanish is unfortunately terrible. Parking was easy and plentiful. The restaurant food was delicious and the service good. We had duck confit and some wine. The view in the room was beautiful and the terrace a lovely place to relax on. The room itself was very comfortable, modern and clean...we loved it! The shower was great and we felt we had everything we needed for our stay.

Marco was lovely & really informative- recommending places to eat etc! Parking is easy, right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, bar/restaurant is lovely & the rooms are perfect. We stayed in the attic room, amazing high ceilings which made the room feel even bigger than it was. Everything was clean & tidy. The bed was incredibly comfy, especially the pillows, we honestly wish we could buy them to take home. It’s a perfect location too, only a short walk into the centre. Genuinely can’t fault the stay at all, we hope to return in summer & stay for longer. I don’t know why you’d stay anywhere else, it has everything (for a great price too)

The location as others have pointed out is about 5 minutes from the bridge and 20-25 minutes from old town. We hiked to Pasaia from the hotel one day and in the other direction another and mid stay rented a car to spend the day in Bilbao. The breakfast choices are perfect and there doesn't feel like a set time by which you must eat breakfast, everyone is accommodating morning until evening. The rooms are immaculate and very nice bathroom. I had the smallest room and it was sufficient. There is definitely road noise or sometimes late night noise of people outside which is to be expected on a main boulevard.
