So beautiful, you can not go to Oran without visiting Santa Cruz. When people say Oran we directly think about Santa Cruz a part of Algerian History. I appreciate this place. It is a Good place to visit and take some memories.

the place not to be missed if you visit Oran, the fort dominates the city and offers a dream view. easy access by car or cable car, a chapel and an esplanade to go around and a fort just upstairs open during the day with all the history of the place inside.

An amazing historical monument to visit freely on your spare time, absolutely gigantic and massive castle perched on the top of the mountain overlooking the beautiful city of Oran and the Mediterranean sea, decently maintained without any major modifications to the interior of the castle, absolutely would go there again!

Pictures speak for themselves I suppose. The view from up here is phenomenal and makes an amazing background for your selfies 😉 Definitely don't miss paying a visit to this fort if you're visiting Oran. Only thing is there is no bus to come up here. We used heetch service and had to pay 280DZD from place 1er November to the fort and another 280DZD to be dropped back at the same location.

Great place to visit this antique fort witch has a nice view at Oran city Santa Cruz Fort is one of the three forts in Oran, the second largest port city of Algeria; the other two forts are Fort de la Moune at the western end of the port and Fort Saint-Philippe, a replacement of the old castle of the Saints known in Spanish as Castillo de los Santos, at the centre of Oran. The three forts are connected by tunnels. Fort Santa Cruz was built between 1577 and 1604 by the Spaniards on the Pic d’Aidour above Gulf of Oran in the Mediterranean Sea, at an elevation of above 400 metres (1,312 ft). In 1831, the French occupied Oran and the fort.

This is the first place you must visit in Ouran, the view is amazing where you can see the city and the sea from the top You should visit this place in the morning to be able to visit the fort.

Gorgeous old fort and adjacent cathedral. Even though the fort is nice to walk around and there is history here, the highlight is the stupendous view over Oran. You can see everything from the sea to the port yo the city to the countryside beyond. 110 dinars for entry price for adults at the fort.

It was actually very nice, it's hard to get a taxi there cause there is absolutely zero phone signal but you can ask the guy who stand there to fix you a taxi, he will say yes definitely, very clean place and historically it's a very beautiful place, if you like taking pics absolutely recommend it

The fort itself is currently inaccessible to the public but the view is well-worth the visit. A must-see if you're ik the area.

Such great history to relive and see for real an old Fort! Even in the mist it was wonderful! It would be amazing if the Fort can be completely restored. I loved it. Worth the time at about 80DZD.

I used to come here to my grandparents' home it was just a few meters away. you can watch all the city of Oran around you right from this spot and it's absolutely a great view and worth visiting.

I went there on Friday and the place was awesome and the nature wonderful. We found some visitors (most of them are families) were taking pictures or just taking a break to see and enjoy the vue of oran city. The church was clean and calme. The air was refreshing even in summer and the is secured . The only negative points in this place were: 1- no place to park the vehicule the only parking is explored by a person who abused to paie 200 da even for 15 min 2- no souvenir shops The place is highly recommanded 😍😍😍😍

Is a must seen in Oran, the views are great. But there is not information only in Arabic. Security guy helped us a bit in french with the history but I could hardly understand him. Overall is good 👍🏻 is 110 DA
