After arriving on the island (with the intention to swim with whale sharks) we stumbled across this resort and managed to speak with the owner. Upon meeting the owner (a European man), he immediately told us there was absolutely no way we could stay with him, nor any possibility of swimming with whale sharks for he was booked up for the whole month. We politely asked him if he knew of any other accomodation on the island where we could stay for the night as it was getting late and we had nowhere to stay, he said absolutely not and he was the only place, we asked if there were any other ways to see the whale sharks and he continued to be unhelpful. Funnily enough, after a short mission around the surrounding towns, we found a lovely little guest house, and the following day we met a local scheme run by the municipality that lets visitors spend the afternoon searching and (luckily for us) swim with whale sharks. So in short, I wouldn't spend a dime at this totally rude and unhelpful persons resort and I would, instead, support the local community and island and choose a homestay and then visit Sonok (small village just up from Pintuyan) and speak to the local organisation called Kasaka and a lovely man called Virgilio, they will charge you next to nothing for a full aternoons trip and a lovely experience with lovely local people! Thank you Virgilio!

The place is so clean. I love the big and clean bathroom with hairdryer. The owner Ate Analyn and Sir Ralf are just so friendly. The have the best coffee you should try it. I have not tried diving their but for sure it's one for the book. I would highly recommend this place for diving and a city get away.

I tried to book twice and they never emailed me back. I swam out to the owners boat about a half mile off shore to try and book diving I was holding onto another boat after asking permission from the operator. He told me to let go of the boat. I was exhausted from the swim and he yelled at me that he was the owner of the boat. He’s a mean nasty man and I wouldn’t dive there for free.

Had a peaceful stay at Pintuyan Dive Resort. We were the only ones staying there at that time. The pool is very clean and water is sourced from the mountains so non-chlorinated. The beach is super clean and clear, though a rocky kind so you have to be careful. Food in their restaurant tastes great with enormous servings and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I like how serene the place is, perfect for the Lent. I believe it's a good place to have retreats. Great for adventurers as they scuba diving and whale shark watching services. Probably not safe for families with safe kids.
