Place
is
a
one-hour
boat
travel
away
from
the
main
island
of
Biliran.
It
was
cloudy
and
drizzling
at
times
when
we
went
there
on
May
27,
2022.
Sambawan
Island
has
uneven
sand
that
is
almost
yellowish/brownish.
Some
parts
of
the
shore
have
corals
and
were
rocky.
I
really
enjoyed
looking
at
the
turquoise
blue
sea
water
which
was
even
more
obvious
when
you
look
at
it
from
the
hilltop.
View
from
the
deck
is
magnificent.
I
suggest
you
find
time
to
go
up
the
hill
before
sunset
or
during
sunrise.
Our
group
stayed
there
overnight
in
the
hut
that
we
rented.
They
also
provided
beds
and
pillows.
Note
that
clean
water
is
scarce
and
not
accessible.
We
paid
Php40
per
gallon
just
for
the
caretaker
to
fetch
water
for
you.
Electricity
is
also
limited
so
charge
your
phones
before
10pm
or
better
yet,
bring
your
power
bank.
Despite
having
no
electricity,
I
fell
asleep
easily
as
the
sea
breeze
blew
continuously
during
the
night.
