Didn't had a good experience in this hospital. A relative of mine was admitted here for a couple of weeks due to headache. He had some series of tests - and there is this one that needs to go to Cebu Doctors University - Hospital since it is not available here. After the results has been released, the doctor read it and didn't found anything. They just advised my uncle to have more rest then he can go home. Days passed and his headache is getting worse, we then decided to transfer to Cebu Doctors as we are not satisfied with the findings. It is then diagnosed that my uncle has hydrocephalus already. If you live near Cebu City, don't bother going here except for emergency cases. Just go straight to reputable hospitals in the city.

I was recently discharged from this hospital. Honesty, I have a long list of complaints to give. From their unprofessional staff to their processes. What your institution give me was the biggest hassle of my life. Upon checking on my list of charges, there were charges that was not used/requested by us. The facilities are not well maintained. The toilet in my room does not flush properly. The discharged process was tedious.Β  Yes, you have me a medical certificate but I also requested medical abstract for work purpose. How you responded came as rude and unprofessional. I understand process and policies, its establish to provide a hassle free flow not just for the employees but for the consumers as well. If I could give a negative rating I would do it. Definitely the worst hospital.

They didn't deserve even a one star. This should be -100 star. My child almost died here having a diarrhea. - She was active when we arrive. - Took so long to put a dextrose, we waited 4 hours after being admitted to emergency - Took another 4 hours to be transferred in a room. - They took a lot of tests but results takes more than a day. - My child haven't received a medication because of waiting for the test results for 2 days - My child health was deteriorating and all tests says no infection - My child became unresponsive like a vegetable for almost 24 hours - Took 9 hours for them to process the transfer for patient to the main branch - Bill was 50K for that time period and yet they did nothing but almost killed my daughter. - I recommend this place if you want to die.

This hospital is getting worse. It used to be good. I had an experience that the doctor was so rude. The name of the doctor is Al Zayed Ismael. He was offended when I called him "sir" instead of "doc". He was assigned in the ER during that time. When I tried to ask questions to him he was very rude and unprofessional in answering questions like putting the phrases "do you get my point?" in every statement that he says. It was a very bad experience. I don't recommend this hospital for those who have high understanding of what "convenience" is.

I work in a designated senior nurse position overseas. I was on a holiday when one of my family members had became really ill and had to be taken to this hospital (due to proximity, and my family thought it had good standards like its flagship hospital in the city). Because I was not well myself at the time, I came to visit my family member day 2 from admission. Unfortunately, when I came to see my sick family member - I saw that they had not managed his symptoms well. Despite his poor prognosis, the staff had not picked even simple symptoms of delirium - and did not even carry out any symptom management interventions (i.e. pain, urine output, etc). I had to bring this up with the healthcare staff, and highlight that this was the case - before they actually realise this. I requested to see the attending physician to discuss these issues, but apparently he/she were not on-site at the time. I was shocked to know that no attending physician is on site at the time... considering that this is a "tertiary" hospital. For the record, I had served in other private and public hospitals in the city before (whilst I was a student nurse), but this has to be one of the worse experience for a private tertiary hospital in terms of healthcare delivery - considering that you are paying for "premium" service, you'd expect to get one. Pros: -Building looks well, has plenty of parking available -Has CT-Scan on site Cons: -Poor healthcare service (clinical and nursing) -Premium price but not reflective of service -AC was not working well in my family member's room - was dripping heaps of water on the floor (had to bring this up before they actually transferred us to another room) -Physician is not available 24/7 on-site -Standards are not the same as their flagship hospital, Cebu Doctor's Hospital -Infection prevention and control practice could be better TLDR - Don't waste your good earned money here, go to better hospitals in the inner city (public or private) and get the healthcare service you deserve.

Staff only becomes courteous when you ask for a complaint form. Otherwise they're like robots. Guards have no initiative whatsoever. Doctors secretaries are demotivated and bored undead. It's a far cry from the services we get from the main.

Not a really good place to send someone that seeks immediate help. There is a big lapse of communication between staff/ medical practitioners in the ER. Service needs great improvement.

Worst experience ever with this place. Super expensive and corrupt. They will double charge you for everything!!!

I agree with all these negative reviews. They overcharged everything. Laboratory and any other diagnostic tests will be sent to the city and they will triple the charge. For faceshield , they charged you daily. Why is it daily? If you buy the medicines outside they will "surcharge" for doing that. Please explain!!!!! Our bill for two days is almost 120,000.00 pesos excluding the Doctor's fee. They are not helping AT ALL. Please you all, if you ever need an immediate care, go to the City so you can save some money.

Went to OPD and talked to the social worker to enroll for maternity package. She advised me to come on a specified date for the orientation which I did and brought along with me all the requirements needed, but when I got there, I was just told na they don’t have the scheduled orientation as the doctor assigned already came the day before.. And the next scheduled orientation will be 2 weeks after. I should have called pa daw the day before to check when in fact mao na to ang schedule. Apparently, they lack staff and walay ayo ang customer service..mao diay a couple of OB’s dili irecommend ang Southgen. Basin maka anak kag sayo sa ka stress.

you paid a high price every day when admitted and they cant even provide proper water dispenser for hot water. you go from one nurse station to another hoping one of them has some. one time they told us they dont have water delivered yet. the restrooms in their private rooms are not maintained properly. there are drain flies. the water pressure is so weak. it'd take a long time to wash up. there isnt even a toilet seat cover. the faucet and the shower hardware dont look hygienic. it feels rough from all the mildew. you can hear the traffic outside coz the windows in their rooms wont close properly anymore. if you're sensitive to sound you won't be able to rest. it could also affect the cooling of the room. the wheels from the dextrose stand wont even work anymore so you have to carry the stand to the restroom and the staff said they used the good one for another priority patient. the establishment is not well maintained. a hospital stay is already stressful enough without all these inconveniences. aside from the facilities, the only positive feedback i can give is that the doctors, nurses and staff are all nice and do their job well. but if you can, I'd recommend you choose another hospital for admission.
