This place is one of the hiden beauty of Escalante. I highly recommend this place. It is worth driving far to experienced different level of enjoyment and the relaxing ambiance especially when you wake up early morning and walk beside the beach. Aside from a scenic view beach and beautiful landscape the staff are very nice and friendly and mist importantly it's clean and the area is well maintained. I was surprised when I was walking around with my niece around 10pm I saw some staff are cleaning and picking up leaves and trash.

Bonista resort is amazing. Mangrove forest on the beach. Truly unique. The water is shallow, very warm, suitable for small children. a wonderful beach that is not overcrowded with tourists to relax in beautiful nature. We spent the whole afternoon there, full of relaxation. I highly recommend it.

The place is so good. You'll love it if you do love nature. The thing is, it's kinda far so need to spend more time going there.

The rooms are very spacious. Bang for your buck! The salt water is very therapeutic. The reception area so a nice place to have breakfast and have some coffee.

We spent the weekend here with some close friends and were blown away by the place! We reserved their deluxe room with a view of the beach and stayed for one night. They have spacious rooms with two twin beds in each. In my opinion, their rooms are a little old and in need of renovation. One thing I didn't like was the amount of pressure coming from their shower. It's extremely slow, and you'll prefer to take a proper bath in the legendary tabo. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ For me, the food is adequate. The portion is a little small, but it's reasonable for the price. They also have a pool for both kids and adults. Their lifeguard was extremely attentive and strict in enforcing pool safety rules. That was admirable. The beach was not ideal for me, but the sunsets were spectacular. I'd also like to commend their frontdesk, who were very polite and lovely in their interactions with their clients. She always smiled and did a good job. Overall, we had a good time here and will definitely return.

The beach is amazing, yhe entrance is 40 pesoseach person. If you do not like the beach they also have a pool which has an 80 peso entrance fee. The sand was white, akin to sipalay and the beach round there is healthy, the ecosystem their is thriving as you can see many animals wandering about the waters of this beach. 10/10

Entrance fee p40.00 Swimming pool p80.00 Kinda far but worth it. This is the second time I've been here and the view always amazes me. The beach is rocky but it's ok. The food is also delicious and affordable.

I Love the beautiful Scenery. I also love their pool and beach. Also, the entrance fee is only 25 pesos. If you want to swim on the pool, you will add 50 pesos. Overall, it's worth it πŸ₯°β€

Drove 2 hours from Bacolod and a stretch of rough road to reach this secluded beach. Day tour is only P40/head. For the price you have access to a nice beach resort with swimming pools (pay extra), beach cottages (pay extra), restaurant, ample parking. We ordered fish tinola, pork, and fish platters, halo halo.

Water in the sink won't turn off and the shower. No light bulb in the lamp, had to ask for one. No drinking water available, you can buy it. We were going to stay a week, but I think we will leave sooner. For what we are being charged, it's not worth it.

We decided to take the family out for the day due to a 12 hour brownout in San Carlos City. We left with no destination in mind and drove all the way north on Negros to Escalante City. We passed a sign for the Bonista Beach Resort and decided to check it out. We had a great time, only playing in the pool for a few hours. The kids loved it, my wife enjoyed having the shade of the umbrella over the pool. All in all, it was a fun day exploring our Negros Occidental!
