A really nice place to relax and enjoy. The sandbar is no nice. The sand is so fine. I was also able to find Nemo (A clownfish) and it's a really good experience. We have also seen lots of giant clams. The local guides were also really nice and provided us lots of helpful information about the giant clams. I hope I can go back in this place again. I really like it. Thank you very much Carbin Reef!

If you love to take your VITAMINsea...this place is good to visit. The water is so clear. And of course if you go there you need to follow the rules since it is a protected area. Bring your own trash is a must...

The island is clean since they are practicing β€œgarbage in, garbage out”. Maximum number of guests in the island is 70. They accept early bookings. No store or restaurant in the island so better to bring your own food/drinks. Prepare fee for each guest, for boat rental and for cottage.

The water is clear, clean, cold, and calming. The boat ride going to the island is so worth it if you wanted a dose of vitamin sea. The place is not crowded even in the peak of summer vacation because they make sure that the number of tourists visiting the island is just enough.

Magical place! We were the only ones there and saw three black tips! That's a good sign of reef health. Unfortunately lots of plastic and garbage in the water πŸ’” we must do all we can to dispose of trash properly.

This is a nature reserve so the number of tourists has a daily limit. Make sure to coordinate with tourism office. The sand bar has a couple of cottages, but are mostly dilapidated as of our visit this Aug2018. The place is quite photogenic but you don't get too much apart from that. If you love pictures in a sand bar, you'll enjoy taking diff shots around the small sand bar. I don't think there's a toilet here. So better do your business before heading to the islet.

Carbin Reef The feeling of having the whole reef all to ourselves away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. You can really appreciate the soothing sound of the ocean and the gentle breeze of the air. For those who are looking for a place to isolate, this is a place for you. And if you come to visit this place, just bring extra food for the coast guards. They are doing a great job in protecting the coast. And we were told that they have to stay here for a week before they can come back to the mainland.

Beach is nice. People are nice. Beautiful view. Giant clams are huge and cool but the reef is not anything special. Not too crowded but it was a weekday.

We went and it was low tide. The back side of the sandbar is great for snorkeling and the front for swimming. The locals will direct you where it’s safe as the current can be strong. Simply beautiful!

Best Escape Anyone Can Have. Prepare your sunblock if you want to go here cos it feels like the sun is just above your head. Cottages are also limited so you should book ahead or get ready to be baked by the sun. I love the water here it is crystal clear.

It's a nice place if you like blue ocean water, but don't expect nice sandy beaches here. The 'beach' is not made of sand, but of razor sharp coral particles and after just a few hours it becomes unbearable to your feet. There are about 5 simple 'gazebo' like places where you can sit and aside from swimming and going to the tower there is nothing else to do here, nor can you buy anything and also no toilet. The waters are fair, blue yes, but also teaming with little crabs and random little trash. See photo's. Most of the trash floats ashore Sagay beach though.

It is usually super hot on the reef but when I went there, it was just my family and another group, it was so relaxing. The water is clear, although some dead corals are noticeable.
