TL;DR:
I
suggest
one
night
for
the
experience,
no
more,
unless
you're
ok
with
the
thoughts
below...on
second
thought,
maybe
just
visit
the
area
and
that's
it.
Notes:
I
found
the
constant
wind
and
surf
to
be
very
peaceful,
especially
at
night,
but,
there
are
overall
much,
much
better
options
for
accommodations
available
on
the
island
elsewhere.
I
really
want
to
give
this
place
a
three,
or
least
a
two
star
because
of
its
overall
appearance...but
I
can't
bring
myself
to
do
it.
A
two
would
be
too
generous
given
how
much
there
is
going
against
it.
Pros/Cons:
-
This
is
the
windward
side
of
the
island.
The
wind
is
strong
and
steady,
with
unmaintained
beaches
[read:
seaweed...lots,
and
lots...and
some
trash
from
locals].
-
Roosters
in
the
next
door
shanty
villages
on
both
sides
start
in
full
force
at
about
530/6am,
and
last
for
about
an
hour
or
two.
Don't
plan
on
sleeping
in.
The
roosters,
along
with
pigs
and
cows
can
be
heard
intermittently
throughout
the
day
and
night.
-
Zero
food
present
after
11
am,
next
closest
is
Anika,
about
a
10
minute
beach
walk,
which
is
way
over
priced.
-
Breakfast
is
simple,
and
not
included
in
the
price.
-
Extremely
limited
for
beer
and
water.
-
Kind
and
friendly,
but
fairly
inept
staff,
especially
when
trying
to
effectively
communicate
directions,
or
arrange
scooter
rentals.
-
Clean,
relatively
spacious
studio
style
huts
with
differing
internal
murals,
with
a
foam
block
as
a
mattress.
-
Showers
are
cold
only,
and
for
me,
water
from
it
leaked
out
of
the
bathroom
into
the
bedroom.
-
WiFi
is
only
in
reception
area.
