This is one of the largest mangrove eco-parks in the country 🏝 it is the habitat of the 300-year mangrove tree & various species of mangroves... It is a great place for unwinding & communing with nature... The tourists guides are very friendly very... Cotfages are very cool and the seafoods are great 😋👍

Visiting this place will recharge your energy because of the gift of mother nature but will make you hungry coz your calories will burnt by just walking from the entrance to your cottage 😀. But walking will just make you look forward for the sumptous food served by friendly staff. After you eat you can swim on the designated swimming area or just walk around to enjoy the mangroves. Just don't forget to call ahead of your scheduled visit and inform them that you will like to have your lunch served so that they can prepare the food

This is one of my favorite island getaways, a nice place to visit. Suyac Island is a mangrove eco-park, a 1.8 hectare island in Sagay City, Negros Occidental. Suyac is also a community of fishermen and their families, who organized themselves to protect the 4 hectares mangrove area and promote their place as an eco-tourism site. A visit to Suyac is a wonderful experience. You can indulge in fresh seafood, cooked by the residents who formed themselves into an association to orient visitors about the environment and manage the eco-tourism project and the cottages. The cottages, which can be rented, can be reached by a boardwalk underneath the mangrove trees, leading to the sea. During high tide, you can swim in the clear waters under the bamboo cottages. You can reach Suyac Island from the Old Sagay port by a pumpboat, by coordinating with the Sagay City Tourism and Information Office.

One of the best mangrove eco-parks here in the Philippines. The entrance fee is 70php, liquor is not allowed. You can also buy fresh seafood from the locals for a cheaper price and they can cook it for you.

Such a beautiful place where you can enjoy the beauty of the mangrove preserve and really connect with nature. The staff will teach you about the importance of the mangroves, both culturally and environmentally. You can also swim among the mangroves and dine on the local, fresh dishes prepared on site.

Such a beautiful place for swimming and mangrove paddling. Suyac Island has crystal clear waters and just walking around the sea, you’ll visibly find fishes, seashells, crabs, and starfishes.

Nice place to unwind when you are stressed out and you will get to see a hundred year old mangrove here. Don't forget to bring your snorkel just and be careful of chironex and mauve jellyfish the sting is so painful and can cause lesions.

Water is clear, its warm when u first jump in.place is clean, seafoods are available to order and price is fair. Transpo boats are safe and island personnel are friendly. I just dont like that there's only 1 cr and only 1 way to get there...so far from our station.unfortunately im having asthma attack at d time so its a bother to walk all d way around when i can just walk across,if only there's a foot walk.
