Thank you, Sir Aaron for the wonderful and detailed discussion regarding the history of Pampanga. Kudos to your passion and enthusiasm to show the history and beauty of Pamintuan Mansion and Angeles itself.

The Pamintuan Mansion is a heritage house located in the old district of Angeles City in Pampanga. It is now converted into a museum by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines with several different exhibits displayed inside. Entrance is free to the public. Located nearby the Angeles Catholic Church and is just a few meters walk away from it.

This is a beautifully preserved ancestral home of the Pamintuan family which has been bought by the government. Worth a visit when going through Ángeles. There's an elevator for those with mobility issues.

Pros - there were student interns when we went there, and they helped explain the history + took our pictures - they let us go to the roof top which has a nice view of Mt Arayat - parking is available inside, per the tour guide - really nice house, well-maintained despite the age - no entrance fee Cons - pets cannot go inside even with diapers which I understand -

Great stopover if you are in the area. Entrance is free but you will definitely want to donate on your way out. Didn't know where to park so we parked at the church and walked to the house.

Known as the Museum of Philippine Social History, it is managed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. Well resstored and accessible museum in Angeles City, which used to be the home of the Pamintuan family.

Pamintuan Mansion is a great place. Looking at the place was like seeing the past. The guards there welcome us when we got there and guide us inside the mansion. Very fortunate to have this in Angeles City.

The Mansion had many reincarnations, for it served many purposes for different groups and individuals. It was once the headquarters of General Antonio Luna in 1899, the Seat of the Philippine republic in May 1899, and the site of the first-anniversary celebration of the declaration of Philippine independence on 12 June 1899. It was also the headquarters of General MacArthur in November 1899. The history of the mansion is exhibited in the first gallery. In the second, various Philippine textiles, accessories, and weaving tools can be found. Clothing styles of local fashion and culture can be seen in the third gallery. Meanwhile, the fourth one houses scale models of traditional Filipino homes from across the country. Furniture of the 19th century, "bahay na bato" can be seen in the fifth gallery. As for the sixth gallery, you'll be able to listen to Filipino musical compositions. And lastly, the seventh to ninth galleries feature traditional Filipino games, depictions of local mythological creatures, and a traditional Filipino kitchen.

Beautiful and well maintained mansion in the heart of Angeles City! Very interesting interior designs too ( similar to Spain, Latin America, Morocco etc) Special mention to Manong guard he was so friendly he let us parked inside the premises. Highly recommended!

The museum was a former Mansion. The exterior and interior of the house was thoroughly maintained through the years. The museum was PWD friendly, the rest rooms are clean and everyone can enjoy the different galleries. While in here, observe the silence and don't lean on glass.

This mansion is one of the must-see places in Angeles, Pampanga for heritage tours. As you go inside the mansion, you will be proud of our history and how our government tried its best to maintain this type of properties. The guide is very good and friendly.

My favorite history here is about the owner of the mansion her first and second wife and 13 sons/daughters. Also the story of badjaw. Ive here twice.

Fantastic history. Go here if you are a history buff. Head curator Aaron was fantastic! The detail of the mansion and the restoration happening is awe-inspiring. I wish I was a Pamintuan hahaha

This is my first visit to Pamintuan Mansion at Sto. Rosario. When we entered, the guards welcomed us and greeted us with smiles in their faces. The entrance is free, all you need is to register your name at the guardhouse. It was nice because anyone can see the history of the mansion for free. The mansion itself is beautiful and we noticed that it has a elevator even though it only has 2 floors, then we realized it's for the PWD (person with disability), it was a great thing that the attraction is for all. When we went inside the mansion, I immediately noticed how they take good care of it, how clean it is and how they properly preserved the furnitures, paintings and statues. In the 2nd floor of the mansion you can view the Holy Rosary Parish Church which is nice. Even though almost all the the sits are not allowed to be seated on, there are bunch of long chairs in the first floor of the mansion where you can sit and relax for a bit. There is a comfort room in both floors, they are clean and obviously taken care of. Having no food establishments is acceptable because food inside the mansion isn't allowed, though they don't also have souvenir shops, you could just take a picture of the moment. And if you are to get hungry there are countless walking distance food establishments outside, which is convinient. Speaking of convinient, if you have a car it is easy to find a parking lot near the area and if you are riding a public transportation like me it is also convinient because it is almost along the highway with just a few walk.

Overall, the attraction is a sum of vintage and history. There are historical things, sculptures, frameworks, old furnitures and more. It is free to enter this place, which is a major plus! It is very neat, the cleanliness maintainance is at its best. Although amenities are not that great, the view is worth it. The location is very easy to find and it is a good one, where public are always passing by.
