Very romantic. My girl and I stayed in the Tree House basic Filipino room. Enjoyed ocean view and at night the sound of the sea. Food is incredible. Has a nice sports bar. Karaoke shuts off at 10pm so you can sleep. Doug is a layed back Canadian. His other rooms have all the amenities. His beach is clean no rocks or trash. Planning to go back with different girl.. Ride jet ski and scuba dive his coral reef. Doug and his wife really know what they are doing. WELL DONE SEE YOU SOON. Can't recommend it enough.

There are two big doberman dogs on the property but the owners were very accommodating of the fact I was bitten by a hostel dog in Dumaguete a few days ago so they upgraded me to a different room so they wouldn't be near me. Staff exceeded expectations and the room was very clean and comfortable. WiFi was functioning which is pretty rare in the provinces and there is food available which is useful as there isn't much available in Calatrava. The dogs bark during the night which isn't ideal but I would still recommend this place.

I can say that the ambiance is good and very relaxing because I stayed and live near the beach for almost two years

Room rate are very affordable and the amenities is clean and neat, foods adn drinks are affordable and staff are so accomodating.. highly recommend.🥰🥰🥰

We stayed here during covid at it was a great little hidden gem. The owners were Canadian the best I can remember and he turned me on to Mr C's on San Carlos. I would stay again for sure.

The place was nice , its by the sea and our room is the treehouse and , also you can used there kayak , actually we used there kayak but we didn't pay for it.. Because Normally if you want to go kayaking you have to rent it . But we don't , and the owner was so kind , 😽 they also served foods but if you want to bring or Cook your own foods , you can 😊

We enjoyed a nice lunch here with Doug an his lovely lady Maria. Last here around 18 months ago and this little resort has been totally renovated by Doug & Maria. Credit to them. Would highly recommend for those wanting a total break, relax an enjoy, the owners are very attentive and will ensure one a wonderful experience.

Doug and Maria were exceptional hosts! Their hospitality was beyond our expectations. Their burger was delicious, our room was spacious, the kayaks were high quality and their dogs Guardian and Zowie are too adorable. Also, the place is full of fun activities! Highly recommend! Planning to go back again!

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. We are so blessed to have found this resort. The place is great. The people are wonderful and very accommodating. Doug and Maria, the owners are very nice people. Everyone is nice. We stayed there April 29 to May 1 and we missed the place already. Especially Zooey and Guardian, their dogs 🥰. There are a lot of activities to do here. You will never get bored Wee definitely will go back this year. God bless everyone at Small Fry Beach Resort.

The experience is excellent! Very accommodating and very down to earth. They offer at a good price! Definitely worth the stay! Will stay more and definitely we will come back!

The resort owner and his wife are super hosts! My family and I had the grandest time there last Jan. 25-26, 2020. Their burgers and fries are home-made, and costs were not cut in making it. Superb! On the beach front there are three cottages where you can hang out. Kayaks are available for free, and there is a billiard table, darts and a pile of board games at the sports bar. You'd never run out of things to do there. But the real deal is the owners' hospitality. I can assure you, you'll never get that kind of hospitality even in the plushest of resorts. Nice and beautiful place. Far from the city and it makes you relax. The room is very comfy. Good for barkada,couple and also for family. There is also a water adventure like banana boat and kayak. Very enjoyable ang relaxing. And the sunset is feel so good. Very accomodating place.

Cozy spot right on the beach with a great resto-bar. Friendly staff and owner and a great place to get away from the city and just enjoy a relaxing time by the ocean. My room was quite comfortable and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

This one is the most tranquil resort in the area which is why we choose to stay at SmallFry's every time we visit. If you're looking for convenience, this is by far the most accomodating service almost close to an exclusive place to stay in with everything you may need, from having coffee, food, drinks, toiletries, water activities, plus a kiddie slide which my kid enjoyed a lot. The owner even gave us a free time to use the kayak! The highlight of our stay are Guardian and Zoe the Dobermann, they are the sweetest fur babies! We love them so much!
