DUGYOT! Do not trust the inviting pics on sites! I’ve been to several resorts but Therrish is the worst! VERY DIRTY! Disgusting!! We were about to sleep when a COCKROACH crawled on the bed, one had to chase it in the middle of the night to rid of it!! Too many FLIES outside and once you open the door, they get in. Just by looking you’ll notice the blankets and bed sheets were dirty and we were right, because it was dusty, some experienced itchiness specially on the arms that’s exposed to the sheets!! Washroom was extremely small, the toilet is exactly just next to the door, doesn’t have enough space for comfort in the COMFORT room. Too pricey for the discomfort they gave us! It was my first visit in Maravilla and it wasn’t a decent stay! We wanted to use the pool but no thanks it was VERY DIRTY too. I am not going to discuss about their food because I have nothing good to say. The only good I can say is they have good staffs, from the guard who assisted us in the parking, to those that we randomly call when we need something. Good staffs, poor management!!

We went there during a red rainfall warning forecast. Couldn't help it though as everything was already planned. Cebu has just returned to GCQ so we decided to push through with the plan. The resort personnel (even the owner) were so kind to inform us about the weather condition in Tabuelan. But that didn't stop us. The resort is the perfect place getaway. Even when its raining we still enjoyed the golden sand shore and the big waves. The sea was super calm and silent a week prior when I visited the place. I even witnessed the golden sunset with which the place is most famous for. So this time it was a little different but super enjoyable. They also have paddle board if your tired of swimming or just sit there and enjoy the golden sunset.

Happened upon this gem - walked in without reservation. Thank God they had free rooms for our group. Really good accommodation with pool and sandy beach. Staff are very responsive and smiling. They provided dinner and breakfast for us by the beach which was relaxing and filling. They accommodated our late check-out without additional fee as we arrived quite late for check-in. Unfortunately, we had to wake up early as there was a power outage with no generator, room became quite warm and humid. Good thing it rained. Be warned the shower inside the room provided minimal coverage exposing anyone inside, we improvised using a shawl to hang over the door for privacy.

Good accommodation and beach experience. All fine sand once you go swim. I could barely step on any rocks. Big waves can be experienced too, if youʼre into that. Thereʼs a reasonably sized pool just beside the hotel for adults and kids when the beach waters are not fun to swim in. The person guarding the entrance greeted us along the way and was willing to make small talk up to our last, second day. However, most of the staff was not that friendly to guests, unfortunately, and not attentive to needs without having to ask. Minus one point for virtually non-existent signal with Smart and Dito. I did have acceptable signal using Globe but not enough to browse the web sufficiently. Another point lost regarding the guest Wi-Fi: Limited use for only actually 12 hours (claimed to be one day) and unacceptable speeds, almost couldnʼt stream videos, not to mention browse socials—even for a higher-priced room. While the inside of the room we were in looked nice and neat (like in a hotel), their bathroom had slow running water. Good thing it wasnʼt salt water. Putting all this aside, if youʼre only there for the beach and to connect with people sans the technology, itʼs worth the long ride from the capital. Remind yourself to check the calendar for low and high tides to avoid disappointment.

The positives: On site, large parking area with gate for security Very nice grounds, with very well maintained greenery and flowers which is inviting to they eye and a nice atmosphere The grounds are very clean and taken care of frequently to keep them that way. The room was as described and secure. Very clean. The food offered tasted good and was well prepared. Nice to have a sari sari type store on site for small needs such as drinks, toiletries etc. One staff member who greeted us on arrival and did health checks and took us to our room was friendly and helpful and he was always busy cleaning or attending to things. Opportunities for improvement: On our first afternoon there, we had a lite lunch/snack at the tables beachside. A storm began rolling in with high winds. The staff did not seem concerned about securing anything down. A tree branch fell above us (not the resorts fault) and then the surf board they keep near their sign came flying toward us. After we quickly finished our food, I wanted to clear our plates and cups to keep them from blowing away or getting damaged so I carried them back inside. The staff just watched me. At dinner that evening there was still light rain and dripping from the trees so we had our dinner at the tables under the roof by the office/ pool. There was a strong smell of dog poo. Our server also noticed it and did look around the table but shrugged it off. We later figured out it was because the trash is stored directly below that balcony. Kind of a bad place for trash to spoil the smell while eating. There were also a LOT of flies, likely because of the trash and poo. After eating while making our way to the room, there were no lights on any of the paths, including the stairways, except in the hallway directly outside each room. The first sleeping night, either the guard or another room was playing a radio all night outside. It was playing all night until around 6am in the morning. The pool was closed for the full day on Monday, despite me being told when I made the reservation that the pool was fully open now. We ordered breakfast the second day. I think it was just us at the resort and one other room checking out. The order was simple- one order of danggit, egg and rice and one order of longanisa egg and rice. 2 coffees, a water and a juice. It took nearly an hour to be done and was all served together. By that time the coffee was cold and they forgot the juice and water and seemed bothered when we reminded them. We were only issued a WiFi code for one day when we arrived and had to chase down one for the second day and staff was not available. We called reception multiple times (as instructed at check in) and no one answered. We asked the person who brought the wifi and they said no one was there. For the majority of the day on Monday the staff that was there just played on their cell phones or slept. I was surprised because we cleared our own dishes, and there was trash and bottles around the tables by the beach. Based on other reviews here, I thought the staff cleaned the beach area just at the resort beach front, but it was highly littered both days, even while staff slept on the bench by the beach front rooms. (Note they did finally clean it just before sunset on Monday). Many of the reviews commented on the accommodating and friendly staff. Sadly, we didn’t experience that at all. Most of the staff we passed or encountered didn’t greet us or even offer a smile. Most had a scowl on their face. We felt most of the staff to be unfriendly or unapproachable all together. Overall we didn’t really enjoy the experience much except for the beach, which is no credit to the resort. For the price we paid for both the room and food, I had higher expectations of service. I should mention they did put a 5% discount on the room at checkout, but no one told us why. Maybe they sensed we were unhappy. Including menu pics here as it was one thing I was curious about but didn’t see in other reviews.

It's a nice, small resort with a friendly staff and affordable rates. Rooms are a bit small though.

My family and I came here for a vacation. The service was excellent and the staff helped us with some issues we had asap. The beach was good and we were able to take a lot of beautiful pictures.

Walking distance from highway, having ample parking space, with nice seafront, fine white sand a gewt place to unwind. Perfect for basketball lovers coz the resort has a basketball theme..

I was surprised by the reviews. We were disappointed when we were there. Rooms are small and dirty, sheets are very thin and food is expensive. They staff are very accommodating though.

Their native rooms air-conditioned are too pricey for what you get from it. No private CR per room, the rooms don't have a trash can and you can't even find a decent trash can nearby.

Place is great. Food is good. The only beach which not crowded considering it's Easter. 😂 Kids love the place wanting to go back soon.

I'm writing my first review, and it's about the best experience I've ever had! The view is fantastic, especially the garden like there's no other, I love the resort design extremely unique, and the beach is wonderful. The staff is so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay. You have to book on a sunny day even if its weekdays so you can experience the spectacular golden sunset ! I adore the meal, which they cheerfully deliver. I give this resort a perfect 10/10 overall.

We had a wonderful stay at Therrish Beach Resort. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. We had a very good stay. The personnel was outstanding, and the accommodations were very clean and comfy. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Thank you❤️🙏

Writing this review to invite others to experience this beautiful beach resort. We really had a great experience at Therrish from their clean and cozy rooms, very friendly and accommodating staff,they have clean kids pool and also for adults. Also, what i like about this resort is that they have an easy access directly to the beach since other resorts around maravilla doesn't have which is a big plus to us. We had our dinner at the beach with their instagramable lights.Overall , 101% highly recommended.

Wow, Therrish Beach Resort! I appreciate the warm greeting and the wonderful personnel. Excellent customer service, a helpful front desk, and in particular Cupid Obenza the greatest waiter, with a smile. Additionally, the food is delicious and authentically prepared in Filipino way. I admire how well constructed the rooms are; unlike other resorts, they are well-maintained and clean. This is the only resort in the north with a basketball-themed resort complete with airconditioned , shower and bathroom, With more improvement hopefully in the future seeing this resort grow will grow the community as well. I enjoy watching the sunset when unwinding at the beach and unbothered by anything. I will come back again for another experience with more memories to come ! and more amenities in the future.

Very clean and spacious room. We stayed at a family room good for 6 people. But the towel rack in the bathroom was too high we couldn't reach it. Accommodating and polite staff. They were very friendly and catered to our needs. The place had a pool for adults and children and the beach was just a few meters away. The resort also had an indoor basketball court. We really enjoyed our stay. We were really comfortable especially since we had a toddler. Highly recommended!

We just stayed there for 5 persons with my friends and we just came around 6PM the other day .The staff is very accomodating with our requests and very friendly.We were allowed to do late check out and it's big part to us since we came from far place..Love the ambiance,friendly staff we enjoyed our stays

Even though we couldn't use the large pool due to renovation, you still compensated us for all the inconvenience.
