The
positives:
On
site,
large
parking
area
with
gate
for
security
Very
nice
grounds,
with
very
well
maintained
greenery
and
flowers
which
is
inviting
to
they
eye
and
a
nice
atmosphere
The
grounds
are
very
clean
and
taken
care
of
frequently
to
keep
them
that
way.
The
room
was
as
described
and
secure.
Very
clean.
The
food
offered
tasted
good
and
was
well
prepared.
Nice
to
have
a
sari
sari
type
store
on
site
for
small
needs
such
as
drinks,
toiletries
etc.
One
staff
member
who
greeted
us
on
arrival
and
did
health
checks
and
took
us
to
our
room
was
friendly
and
helpful
and
he
was
always
busy
cleaning
or
attending
to
things.
Opportunities
for
improvement:
On
our
first
afternoon
there,
we
had
a
lite
lunch/snack
at
the
tables
beachside.
A
storm
began
rolling
in
with
high
winds.
The
staff
did
not
seem
concerned
about
securing
anything
down.
A
tree
branch
fell
above
us
(not
the
resorts
fault)
and
then
the
surf
board
they
keep
near
their
sign
came
flying
toward
us.
After
we
quickly
finished
our
food,
I
wanted
to
clear
our
plates
and
cups
to
keep
them
from
blowing
away
or
getting
damaged
so
I
carried
them
back
inside.
The
staff
just
watched
me.
At
dinner
that
evening
there
was
still
light
rain
and
dripping
from
the
trees
so
we
had
our
dinner
at
the
tables
under
the
roof
by
the
office/
pool.
There
was
a
strong
smell
of
dog
poo.
Our
server
also
noticed
it
and
did
look
around
the
table
but
shrugged
it
off.
We
later
figured
out
it
was
because
the
trash
is
stored
directly
below
that
balcony.
Kind
of
a
bad
place
for
trash
to
spoil
the
smell
while
eating.
There
were
also
a
LOT
of
flies,
likely
because
of
the
trash
and
poo.
After
eating
while
making
our
way
to
the
room,
there
were
no
lights
on
any
of
the
paths,
including
the
stairways,
except
in
the
hallway
directly
outside
each
room.
The
first
sleeping
night,
either
the
guard
or
another
room
was
playing
a
radio
all
night
outside.
It
was
playing
all
night
until
around
6am
in
the
morning.
The
pool
was
closed
for
the
full
day
on
Monday,
despite
me
being
told
when
I
made
the
reservation
that
the
pool
was
fully
open
now.
We
ordered
breakfast
the
second
day.
I
think
it
was
just
us
at
the
resort
and
one
other
room
checking
out.
The
order
was
simple-
one
order
of
danggit,
egg
and
rice
and
one
order
of
longanisa
egg
and
rice.
2
coffees,
a
water
and
a
juice.
It
took
nearly
an
hour
to
be
done
and
was
all
served
together.
By
that
time
the
coffee
was
cold
and
they
forgot
the
juice
and
water
and
seemed
bothered
when
we
reminded
them.
We
were
only
issued
a
WiFi
code
for
one
day
when
we
arrived
and
had
to
chase
down
one
for
the
second
day
and
staff
was
not
available.
We
called
reception
multiple
times
(as
instructed
at
check
in)
and
no
one
answered.
We
asked
the
person
who
brought
the
wifi
and
they
said
no
one
was
there.
For
the
majority
of
the
day
on
Monday
the
staff
that
was
there
just
played
on
their
cell
phones
or
slept.
I
was
surprised
because
we
cleared
our
own
dishes,
and
there
was
trash
and
bottles
around
the
tables
by
the
beach.
Based
on
other
reviews
here,
I
thought
the
staff
cleaned
the
beach
area
just
at
the
resort
beach
front,
but
it
was
highly
littered
both
days,
even
while
staff
slept
on
the
bench
by
the
beach
front
rooms.
(Note
they
did
finally
clean
it
just
before
sunset
on
Monday).
Many
of
the
reviews
commented
on
the
accommodating
and
friendly
staff.
Sadly,
we
didn’t
experience
that
at
all.
Most
of
the
staff
we
passed
or
encountered
didn’t
greet
us
or
even
offer
a
smile.
Most
had
a
scowl
on
their
face.
We
felt
most
of
the
staff
to
be
unfriendly
or
unapproachable
all
together.
Overall
we
didn’t
really
enjoy
the
experience
much
except
for
the
beach,
which
is
no
credit
to
the
resort.
For
the
price
we
paid
for
both
the
room
and
food,
I
had
higher
expectations
of
service.
I
should
mention
they
did
put
a
5%
discount
on
the
room
at
checkout,
but
no
one
told
us
why.
Maybe
they
sensed
we
were
unhappy.
Including
menu
pics
here
as
it
was
one
thing
I
was
curious
about
but
didn’t
see
in
other
reviews.
