ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! HOTEL SHOULD BE CONDEMNED! We booked this room on the Choice Hotels app. The rate was non refundable which we were fine with because we’ve never had an issue with Choice Hotels. The pictures shown are definitely not of this hotel. When booking it says pet friendly. When we arrived we found out it is not pet friendly. They didn’t want to refund us our $175 so they agreed to let us stay with our dog. We booked a King Suite. They tried to give us a standard double room with no lights except for bedside table lamps. No bathroom mirror, no bathroom light, toilet didn’t flush correctly. The sink was leaking puddles on the floor. Part of the ceiling was gone. Wires were hanging out of ceiling and walls. Mold in the roof. Air conditioners do not work. One room even had an open gas line hanging out of the wall. Homeless people everywhere. Supposedly a non smoking hotel but the whole place wreaked of Mariquana. After 4 rooms all the same filth they sent us to a building with 4 suites in it that they no longer rented & expected us to stay. SLEEP IN YOUR CAR! Save yourself a nightmare!!!

The hotel, there were things such as mold along the walls. This was a big health issue for me, considering I have asthma, and actually had to take my inhaler when we got there since I was having continuous breathing problems. Me and my family got into the pool just to figure out that pool hadn't been cleaned in months and was filled wit Algae. On top of that, they had both of the lights and it's wires loose in the pool. But the lady in the front told us the pool was perfectly fine when we got there even though she knew that it wasn't. Lastly, our rooms was disgusting. Not only were the halls covered in mold, but the rooms were as well. We literally went to the store, bought cleaning supplies, and cleaned our rooms. The beds and everything had stains and other stuff on them. This was unacceptable, considering we were spending $200+ for that one night. Then the next day when we ate trying to shed light on the situation, the manager basically kicked us and threatened to call the police. When we asked why, all she said is she felt "threatened" by us saying we were getting angry, even after specifying beforehand that we were talking about with the hotel and not with her.

First off this has to be the most comfortable bed I have every slept in in my 50+ years of hotel stays and when I checked out the lady took my issues seriously and wrote down my complaints. When I stay there again, I hope to raise this rating. The room itself was nice but the toilet was unstable and tilted forward when I sat down and audibly thunked into the wall on standing. The "hot" water was tepid in the night time and non-existent in the morning. I will definitely be back and I hope to raise the score.

I don't write many reviews, but although I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels, I have to say I've never seen more of a nightmare in a hotel than this place. Upon arrival, I and another guest both had to wait over 15 minutes at night just to get into the locked lobby to check into our prepaid rooms, mine prepaid with Choice Privileges points. Once my wife and I got into our room, we couldn't believe the disarray - it smelled, the bathroom tub was dirty and still had a dirty washcloth from the previous guest. We requested another room, but when we got into that one, it had no blankets on the beds. We told them we'd go out and get dinner while we waited for them to get blankets. When we returned from dinner, there were still no blankets. Then two employees went around and got a blanket from another room, but only for one of our beds. They said they'd get us a second blanket, but despite multiple visits to the front desk they never gave us a second blanket. This first-floor room was also missing half of the blackout curtains. There are more details for how bad this place is but this review is already so long. Avoid this place! I can't believe it's listed with Choice Hotels!

Booked this room on-line with 2 beds ,didn't expect a five star hotel for the price. I did expect clean sheets, thank God I brought my own towels .The room was dirty, floors apperred that it had not been mop in long time toilet felt like it was ready to fall off the foundation, bathroom vent didn't work. People smoking pot in their rooms, dogs barking & goes on & on. I was their to make funeral arrangements for my brother. Stayed for 5 days. Was emotionally upset, I didn't have the energy or strength to try to find something else. Had to wait 30 to 40 min at 430 a.m to get my 100.00 cash deposit back as well. It almost caused me to miss my flight. The clark stated he couldn't fine the a safe key. I don't understand why I had to put a 100. Cash deposit when they had my credit on file? The Clark also went to the bathroom while I waited. He didn't even wash his hands. He didn't even apologize or said anything. This was the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel including third world countries! The original Clark that checked me in was very nice. Hotel from hell!

Curtain fixed, sort of, with zip ties. Floor looked clean but got brown stain on clean white socks. Tile work in shower beautiful but amateur. Room quiet to other room but to hallway not at all. Night night, safety no doubt, turned on anytime rolled over. Bed and pillows nice. Furniture pretty. Staff odd but not rude. Looks likw tried to upgrade but didn't quite make it.

Pool is chill, nice, relaxing just avoid families of 4 or 5 being in there, if you don't like sort of thing. Only complaint I have about the room is there's no fridge to keep your drinks cold 🚿 has nothing to hold onto while your getting out, if your tall guy like me. Plastic over head was easy to take down with you, if you slipped & fell . Room is clean 💯 There's a Waffle 🧇 House next door. Not to far of a walk, if you want breakfast 🥞🍳☕

Horrible experience, customer service was rude and very disrespectful, we took out our own trash, we had no clean towels the whole 6 days we were there. We had to purchase our own towels so we could shower. The breakfast was horrible, they only had coffee one day we were there, there excuse was, we are out of coffee filters. The hotel spelt like mold. We had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean our own room before we were even able to bring out belongings in the room. However Jennifer the manager was very respectful and apologized on many different occasions, this does not justify the fact of how the hotel was. They should shut this hotel down!!

Not the best place to stay but it was a roof over our head for a few nights. Key card had to be reactivated every time I came back to my room. There were bugs. Doors and walls were paper thin so you could hear everything going on in other rooms. Shower was not the best shower but it did the job. Absolutely not like in the photos. It is an overly expensive run down hotel. If you can avoid staying here, please do. Save yourself some grief.

WORST EVER! Waited an hour to check in at midnight. Then she gave us an already occupied room. WE HAD RESERVATIONS! Then go back to the front desk with a sign ALL RESERVATIONS CANCELED. So now 2 A.M in the morning with no where to go. To make matters worse they are refusing to refund money. We paid for the rooms already and THEY canceled our reservation. Manager will not answer the phone and they have NO customer service. THIS PLACE IS TRASH!!!

It is an older property and needs updating. However the room was clean and mattress was excellent. Breakfast was basic at best, not much more than cereal. Staff was present and professional. There are restaurants in walking distance.

Not a terrible motel but not a 3 star hotel either. $60 total, whadya expect? Not sure why they made me pay a $100 security deposit and other people only $50. Sketchy. If they rip me off, and lie and say I damaged anything, I will update this review. Always video your arrival and departure to the room. Film the room in detail because I've heard bad things about them lying about damages to help pay for their much needed upkeep. Anyways, no roaches, no bed bugs, no bugs at all. No loud people, no shady people hanging around. Safe area in my opinion. One stairwell reeked like fermenting alcohol. It was so gross! Room smelled weird too(like lived in if that makes sense) but was visibly clean. Floor was slightly sticky in a few areas. One light didn't work, the bathroom fan was also inoperable. Bed was fine. AC worked great. Decent room other than the unusual smell. Room 235.

Room was trashed. Looked like someone threw chairs at the wall. No outlet covers, missing light bulbs, floor was sticky (I don’t even want to know with what) the shower was gross. The only clean things in the place were the beds and the toilet, which is a godsend and the only reason I decided to stay and not request a refund and leave. Definitely NOT worth the price

I stay at quality inn often to have my own little vacation away from home from time to time, On one of my stays I lost my little dog, he had ran off during potty break! I was beside myself!!! The lady at the office her name is Jen was more than helpful she immediately got on face book and began searching. She found one that led me closer to him. I stayed an extra night till I found him. She then had the housekeeper come get me the next day, she had got in contact with the person who had my dog and reunited me with him!!! I must say that the staff here have gone above and beyond for me and my needs more than once seems like each time I stayJen, Amy, Clay them mostly are ALWAYS are always making new ways to make me feel welcome and leaving me with the wanting to return. I would recommend staying here as the rooms are nice staff is friendly and helpful prices are best in town with breakfast as a extra benefit!!! Thank you quality staff for making my stay a happy one as you didn't only make me feel like a guest but you but I felt like someone special after my stay and I wouldn't think of staying any where else ...... So pleased with my stay here!!! Heidi Jones

This place was DISGUSTING, the hallways had random people sitting in them and smelled like people were cooking in the rooms. There was no elevator and the area where the stairs were had an overflowing garbage can. This is a secured area so the garbage came from people staying and hadn't been emptied. Room doors looked like they had never been cleaned covered with dirt and grime. The floors in the room were filthy, there was some unidentified "stuff" on the bedskirt. All of this was observed in about a 3 minute glance around the room. Outside people were sitting in cars in the dimly lit parking lot smoking pot. Homeless people camped in parking lots of surrounding areas. Police activity in the area at hotel across the street. Definitely did not feel safe inside or out so we left. Did not stay and were given a refund with no questions asked as I explained. I felt like the front desk was aware of all issues, she didn't act in the least surprised when I shared all of the above. Gave 2 stars for service because she started refund process. Would definitely NOT recommend, it is certainly not a "quality" anything. If I could leave a review with Zero stars I would. Worst hotel experience ever

The lady at the front desk provided outstanding customer service! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The mattresses were dirty.

Room has no lock on it. The front desk charges $100 deposit even after the room has been booked online. Front desk workers have bad attitudes.. Was told to use atm for the cash deposit because if I used a card, it would take 7-10 days to get it back. Hole in ceiling. Do not stay here, not even for a night. My wife is scared and I am an armed Deputy Sheriff.

This place is disgusting. Smells like it used to be a smoker's hotel but now masked with deodorizer. The lobby is disgusting. The hallways are hot as hell. The sheets are sticky. Floors in the room are gross. Mold on ceiling, cobwebs, dust and grime everywhere in the room. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There's a reason this place is non-refundable on the hotel apps. Front desk was friendly enough, I only gave them 1 star bc this place deserves no stars.

Stay away. This Motel is the typical vacation nightmare. Cockroaches, everywhere in the room, Mold in the corners and especially in the air conditioner. Furthermore the doors barely close, which makes you feel unsafe. Lastly, the room smells intensively like people have smoked in there for years. This was definetly the worst Motel/Hotel etc. experience ever at a ridiculous high Price for that.

It was a HORRIBLE experience, we have to move to a different rooms 3 times. First no cable, then no clicker and after that NO TOWELS!!! And no even an apology... definitely if you want to take a break DON'T choose this hotel.

I'll start off to say sorry to anyone who stays here. The beds are terrible the bathroom are very small and the toilet is off balance the bed is the worst bed I ever slept in started hurting my back And don't let me even start on the breakfast the Orange juice was so watered down that it tasted just like water they only had sausage no eggs the waffle batter to make waffles tasted horrible. Never got room service as far as getting towels or even toilet paper I had to go get them everyday by myself. And forget about staying a week and having your key work for the door every day you have to get them renewed this is a hotel I do not recommend I will never stay here again

The room was ok. The bathroom is very small and the toilet was not leveled. The service was bad. Our room cards got deleted and when we tried to get them reactivated no one was in the front office. I went to every room in the front office and no one was there. Then after about 10 minutes a worker came walking in and reactivated our key card and told me not to put them around our cell phones anymore. I told her they were in my wallet the whole time not near my cell phone. She was very rude. I walked out before I let myself escalate.

Stop!!! Don't book. We booked through Expedia....So many things wrong. They don't answer the phone. Called over 30 times, no answer ever. Check in window all busred. Pool closed, gym closed, breakfast is a piece of fruit and a granola bar in a paper sack, Bistro is not open. It was difficult to get more towels. They use furniture polish on the floor which makes them greasy and slick. Uses ammonia to clean with so it sticks. Bad bad.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Mold and roaches galore. Smells disgusting and the sheets were dirty. The hotel is unsafe. No locks on the exterior doors with men in the parking lot sleeping in pick up trucks and drinking alcohol. Loud music and questionable street workers soliciting money. Interior hotel doors do not have safety locks, smoke detectors and the front desk was not available for over an hour. No phone in the rooms. We checked out and went across the street to a no name brand that was $5 less per night and cleaner.

  • 1/5 Carrie L. 1 year ago on Google
They overcharged me $55 more a night than what they had told me over the phone. They didn't tell us that the pool was closed and that it had been closed for 60 days. The rooms were not clean and had roaches. The AC unit leaked all over the floor. They told us it was our fault and that they checked the room and didn't see any water. That's because we kept cleaning it up so we wouldn't fall anymore. Ice machine ran out, cable was out, half of the continental breakfast was either out or out of order...they are rude and everything was our fault.

  • 1/5 Martha A. 1 year ago on Google
The sheets were dirty. There was old moldy food left in the fridge. A used glove left behind the toilets But I couldn't tell what they cleaned. There was no sense of security whatsoever considering the scanners to get into the building were broken so they propped the door open. The pool had a permanent sign saying 'closed' and locks even though it was an amenity Listed and the whole reason why we chose to book. The TV was broken. There was no remote. No toilet paper. And when she brought us a remote and we mentioned there was no toilet paper she grabbed the toilet paper that was not wrapped up off the floor sitting in front of another rooms door. The room was disgusting.. It literally looked like they were popping sheets and if you don't know what that means that means somebody stays, the sheets look clean enough, so they don't change the sheets and make the bed up with used sheets. When we asked for a refund, because we were planning on leaving, we were told that since we had already messed up the beds that we couldn't get a refund and then when we asked for a room change that was a whole other problem, she even cussed my friend for no reason!. It took us going back down there and complaining yet again about more things for her to give us a new room and said she would issue a refund as well. But even the new room had issues. I will say that the cleanliness was better. I have yet to get a refund and the phones are down due to remodeling up front I guess. That's what she told my friend. Long story short, don't do it unless you're desperate.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, service was good, only thing is they are remodeling an an it's a walk from the lobby to the other building where the rooms are, pool is clean.. only thing is no elevator an the carpet of other building halls need to be vacuumed more often. Other then that it was good.

Really appreciated the staff , their accommodations and professional manner. In housekeeping Ms. Daisy, Ms. Mary and in Maintenance Mr. Francis( sorry if I misspelled it😂) for helping us during our stay. Despite the ongoing renovations, they along with Ms. Jennifer in Management made our stay...comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone , as well as a substantial bonus for each individual employee( they deserve it🎯) Thank you guys

The rooms are nice. I requested room service 3 times. Did not get it. I was quoted a price over the phone. The price I had to pay was much more. Did not get any clean towels my whole stay. Took out my own trash. Still have not got my deposit or my refund on unused rent back.it could be a very nice motel.

Dirty, mold, ants, extremely dirty ac unit and vents. Pre booked and if it wasn’t for Hurricane Ida I would definitely go somewhere else. Bring your own linen. Only stay here if Absolutely No Other Option!! Truthful and honest

The rooms were not cleaned and smelled of mold. Our room had a piece of the ceiling hanging down, and mold on the walls. Looked at another room and the same with the mold issues. We looked at a total of 3 different rooms before getting a " good" room. The housekeeper was rude when we asked for towels and she did not even see if we did need anything.

  • 2/5 Hannah T. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms are not terrible. They’re by no means great though. The lady at the front desk was very nice, but the cleaning staff pretty crabby. I did get fresh new towels when I asked. No breakfast here, which is fine. What was terrifying is the surrounding environment. I didn’t feel safe at all. There were very odd people staying here or maybe they were just hanging out in the parking lot, I don’t know. There was a guy who would pace around the lot laughing at nothing. There were guys who sat in the lot and stared at everyone who passed. Overall, I was super uncomfortable in the area and will not be back for that reason. Oh, and overpriced for sure. $301 with government discount for 2 nights is absurd for what you get. You can pay the same thing 10 minutes down the road at Country Inn and Suites for much better service, area, and amenities.

Had a one night stay on 10-6-23. Hard to describe. The floor had been flooded and the planks had shrunk. The room lacked a lot in cleanliness. Rooms down the hall had been entered by a battering ram or something similar. Windows had been smashed completely out allowing anyone to enter. The hallway had not been swept in who knows. The shower area had mold growing above it. It is shocking Quality Inn would allow their name on this place.

the rooms were really dirty and kinda messed up but Charles was so helpful i am homeless and barely scrounged up enough money for the room and he helped me with getting into the room. He was super kind and paid very good attention to other customers along with me even when there was multiple of us around. very sweet man and made me feel comfortable as a young person alone and scared.
