The name of the hotel is Grand S, with 4 stars. The worst hotel I stayed in. One star is too much for the poor experience I had: dirty bathroom with urine smell and stinking water, used towels, used pillowcases, sheets with stains, bad breakfast, slow elevator that barely fits 2 people with suitcases, slow internet, uncooperative staff that barely provided service to their customers. The walls had stains, some of them blood. The bath tiles had mold. Flies everywhere. I felt they dont clean rooms after people leave. A nightmare we had to survive. It spoiled my experience of Turkey.

When I arrived at the hotel - my room was re-sold! I spent 2 hours settling this issue. And I was transferred to another hotel. I booked Grand S Hotel to be near the Esenler Otogarı, where my bus departs in the morning. Grand S Hotel promised to take me back by bus in the morning so I could be on time in Esenler Otogarı. Of course, no one came to me, and Grand S Hotel decided even not to pick up the phone. So, I needed to take a taxi for an additional cost. Breakfast was included in the price of the Grand S Hotel room. Thereby, I wasn't served breakfast as well. The most terrible hotel experience in my life.

The experience I had here was quite bad. Besides the bathrooms being dirty and having issues with the room key for 3 days straight, the people at the reception are also thieves. I asked them to order a taxi for me for the following morning, and they asked me to pay 600 lira in cash in advance for them to have a taxi ready to take me to the airport in the morning. They only ordered the taxi in the morning, when i went downstairs and asked for the taxi, and after I left the hotel the taxi driver told me they only paid him 340 for the trip, keeping the rest of the money for themselves

I and my two other friends arrived at the hotel around 2:00 PM after a long long 14 hours flight, when i arrived there nobody greeted us and the manager at the reception was extremely rude with me and my friends He asked us to wait and after sitting for 25 minutes another lady came and checked us in but when i went to our room it was not even cleaned after the guests before us left, I went back to the reception to talk to them but the same manager at the reception shouted on me and my two other friends he threw our money and IDs and said ‘’ GO AND SLEEP ON THE STREET’’. Even one star is more for this hotel. Never stay at this hotel.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in during my entire life. Everything about it is bad. Rude unpolite staff, small rooms, bad airconditioning, noise of street amd neighbouring rooms, poor breakfast. Don't ever stay there.

Out if the way from town and shopping mall. Few rooms facing problem. The bathroom full of water after bath. One of my guess Had to change room. The other, didn't change room. Not strategic and not advisable to stay.

The lady at the reception was rude. Room was very noisy because of the metro line passing just few meters from the windows. Bathroom was extremely dirty, which I can see from the reviews is common for this hotel.

The rooms were dirty and so were the bathrooms.It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel but the experience felt more like a 1 star

I'm still here. Customer service only good on main reception. Room are not bad. If you go in swimming pool area the people on swimming reception so rude specially glases men and on lady . Swimming pool is dirty looks like they didn't change water long time also swimming pool water is really icy cold which shouldn't be. I ask swimming pool receptionist that why you guys not keep bit warm water in swimming pool then very rudly they said that water will be stay how it's same words lol. . Well hotel not bad good luck

Yes I've been in this hotel but I never do it again. I did call for technician service four times and nobody show up And I left the hotel and I didn't see his face Everybody lies in this hotel

the biggest misery I've ever slept in in the whole world. Unique filth, downright tragedy, not that I don't recommend it, just remember the name and never step on it. Service under any criticism. It's hard to believe that there are places like this, let alone in Istanbul

I had bad experience, on the day of check in even though I booked two weeks ago through Travel agency, they said that they have only one room with king bed, I was with my mother and asked to find a solution, the receptionist told me that if I don't like then I should leave ! This is not a nice way to attract the customers. As a result we stayed for one night and left early morning. By the way, the breakfast buffet was very poor and thr food was not fresh, I will never go again.

Not a bad hotel,too far from places that to be seen but restaurant was good/they have espresso machine and all kind of alcohol drinks/ the next one was cheap with wondeful things to eat.I like it.

The only think I can say is they DIDN'T let us go to the toilet, my minor daughter and me. They said toilet is only for those ones who maid reservation. We made 33 hours travel by bus and asked for this service. Don't pay for this place - they are not worth it.

The staff was polite, the service was good. Inside the room, the furniture was very old, the toilet smelled damp. I don't think it deserves 4 stars. I do not recommend it to stay more than one night.

Where do I start...😠 well no one really spoke any English which made things extremely difficult..the breakfast was really bad, the swimming pool was dirty, and had plastic and bits floating inside, the staff for the pool and spa area were so rude especially the man at the desk with the glasses he was so unhelp disrespectful and angry, he made us feel such bother, as he also completely ignored us to speak those who were of his nationality. THERES MORE...The bathroom smelt of urine, the sheets were not clean, AND TO TOP IT OFF...we saw a COCKROACH in our bathroom the night before we were leaving, if we did not demand to move room they would of happily left us in there, anything you ask for takes ages for a response!! The staff are so unhelpful and rude. (Not all) We asked for the cleaner to clean our room on the third night and sadly she just throw the same dirty towels on the side, had the ordasity to turn the same quilt cover insideout and make our beds, unbelievable, This really spoiled our time in istanbul as we tried to do things to avoid going back to the hotel. The decor and fixtures and fittings are tired, shower just about clinging to the wall, I promise I am in no way exaggerating this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I couldn't wait to get back to my home. This hotel should definitely not be 4 stars, it looks great from outside, but once inside it is a totally different story, the Grand S Hotel is very far from grand. It is an insult to 4 star hotels. I'm absolutely livid. Please avoid by all means. The photos are not a true likeness of the this hotel, do not be fooled.

Our room was not cleaned. Also the toilet smelled like urine. We ate only mozzarella butter and jam from the breakfast...

Not a very good hotel, I won't go back there ever. The position was not very good, you had nothing to do around the area nearby the hotel. It seemed like they didn't clean anything up, only emptied the recycle bins. The girl in the reception was very polite and friendly. We asked a guy who worked there for a taxi, we gave him 10euros and 100lira to pay the taxi but he only gave the taxist 10 euro, this was very rude! The towels were uncleaned, not a good room smell, warm air conditioner didn't work every day..

Super hotel with all facilities including gym, pool and sauna. Amazing breakfast.

The hotel left side it bad room, right side is good room. Before book any room please check the room, some times the rooms including many many INSECTS.

OK for this kind of hotels. The only thing I dislike is it's location; too near to the metro rail which noise doesn't let you sleep well.

They have a good reception stuff but it’s the worst hotel I’ve been in the beds full of bugs and it’s super dirty and old stinky bathrooms 👎🏻

Very bad and rude staff, dirty rooms, bad service, bad smell, bad breakfast,... it should not be one star even.

At first the smell of the air is not good it smells like ash if you want the hotel for only sleep I recommend it but for food, service no i dont recommended

Good place to stay in Istanbul. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and very good staff especially Murat, he was always very kind and he always helped me with everything I needed. Thank you Murat for everything and thank you so much Grand S Hotel, hope to come back soon

The rooms were clean especially the sheets. Cleaning is the most important thing when it comes to hotels and my experience with Grand S was fulfilling. Also the breakfast was delicious.
