A place which is full of different shops of antique and vintage pieces and art that is related to Iran and it's culture but you have to be able to walk as it's a huge place to visit and explore.Paintings, block printed scarfs, etar, tile art work, frame, jewelry, miniature artwork pieces and much more to look for like there is a park where you can sit with your family and enjoy. Also there is a beautiful mosque in it that you can visit and see the architecture and it's beauty. There are some cafe as well where you can have coffee .

Aali Qapu is one of the most beautiful buildings in Naghsh Jahan Square, which is world famous and is one of the most important historical buildings in Isfahan. I always bring guests here to visit. The atmosphere is really beautiful. Of course, the building needs to be renovated. But every foreign and domestic tourist should plan to visit this building.

Naghshe Jahan Square is one of the most beautiful squares in the world. In this square you can visit two historic mosques, Aali Qapu Palace, among others. You can enjoy the scenery, take a walk or ride a carriage. There are different type of foods/desserts and drinks you can buy and enjoy. There are also many traditional shops where you can buy nice Persian handicrafts!

It's simply the palace of Shah Abbas II, the most powerful king of Safavids. The roof of outdoor yard or balcony of the building is a one of a kind created by the best artists if their time and even forever!

Aali Qapu Palace is the symbol of Great Esfahan city and "Naghshe Jahan" Square ("World's Reflection" Square if I want to translate it). From the second floor of the Palace, the whole beauty of the square is visible. Very highly recommended to visit👌❤️

A must visit on the square. The terrace has a phenomenal view of the Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Entrance fee 1 million rial in May 2022 for foreigners. Music hall was unfortunately closed. Great example of Safavid architecture. It was used as a residence for the Emperors during the Safavid dynasty.

A must to see!!! Built in the 16th century as the main administrative center of the Safavids, Aali Qapu Palace is a six-story palace with outstanding patterned pillars and intricate stucco ceiling inside. It was as the dwelling for the Safavid king, Shah Abbas I. It Offers spectacular views over the Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Highly recommended!!!

Very beautiful palace, although the entrance price (for foreigners) is a bit too high for what it has to offer. The inside is small and not that impressive as the outside, but you get a nice view over the entire square.

nice and Stunning Palace. Follow my Photos to see more Architectural details of this palace. Visiting this building should see all its sections. Walking through the stairs from floor to floor with its unique steps and standing on the balcony facing the field will be a special experience.

A very cool place with astonishing staircase. It looks great when you go to the balcony. A wonderful view of Naghshe Jahan Square. Seeing people walking, clip-clop of horses. Cool atmosphere. And the upper part, music room, is very beautiful.

One of the world heritage sites in Esfahan it’s built in five Floors. This palace is located in Nghsh jahan Square you can go inside and see the squire from the palace balcony it has many Stairs. And the stairs are high so if you had knee problems you must be careful. If you came to Isfahan it is one of the place you must see so don’t lose it

lovely place The Ali Qapu is located on the west side of Isfahan’s main square, the Maydan-i Shah, also known as Naqsh-i Jahan (“Half the World”) and now called Maydan-i Imam. It is situated directly across the square from the Mosque of Shaykh Lutfallah. The building is at heart a monumental gatehouse, originally conceived as a two-story atrium communicating between the public maydan and semi-private dawlat-khanah or royal precinct consisting of an assemblage of palaces, storehouses and government bureaus located to the west of the square. However, it grew to accommodate other courtly functions, including administration and entertainment.

A palace on the main square of Isfahan. While perhaps less stunning than the mosques of Isfahan, this is still worth a visit, if only for the wonderful views of the square itself from the balcony.

Ali Qapu Palace, the glorious Safavid palace gate leading to Safavid royal zone, has been standing for 400 years to show the persian Safavid art and architecture.

Ali Qapo Palace (the original name of Alaqapo) is a building that was actually at the entrance of the Safavid government house and had a simple shape at the beginning, over time and during the reign of Shah Abbas, floors were added to it, and during the reign of Shah Abbas II, a pillared porch was added to it. . This building is located on the west side of Naqsh Jahan Square and in front of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. Its height is 48 meters and it has 6 floors that can be reached by spiral staircases.

What a waste of money. You can't really see anything, you get up, get a non exciting view of the square and leave. For 1.000.000 Rial as tourist. There are better places, save your money

I think this is one of my favorite place so far. I love how they use it to share lunch or enjoy a family gathering putting a blanket on the grass. The real magic happen at night. I still can't immagine how this used to be a polo court.
