Atiq Square or Old Square, which is also known as Imam Ali Square. It is the name of a square located in the center of Isfahan city, which is created from the revival of Sabze Maidan (Midan Atiq or Old Square[1]) with the Jame Mosque, which consists of four main spaces, including the main square complex, the Jalokhan of the Jame Mosque, the set of underpasses and the parking lot, and the surrounding parts It is a square whose first phase, the underpasses, has been put into operation. [2] This square includes an underpass and multi-level parking along with a relatively trapezoidal flat structure that connects Isfahan Jame Mosque to Haruniyeh building on one side and school and caravanserai on the other side. It connects Kasegaran and Isfahan Grand Bazaar

Imam Ali Square is a collection of old markets in Isfahan. From spice market to clothes and food and of course marriage! It has a quiet environment where there is no crowding.

Imam Ali Square, or Atiq Square was the main square and the chief center of the business and social life of the city. It was restored recently and is now a collection of spice, clothes, and food markets. The architecture is nice the interior space is empty!!! Recommended time to visit is late afternoon.

It was great passing by the place. You feel the architecture you feel everything in the center of the square. My problem was the shops inside. Especially there were people having bad smelling thing and walking, I think it was a religious thing.

I did visit the last 15 days... after Iran opened the borders that were closed because of the corona pandemic for tourism again... multiple sights in Iran(btw.: it was my second time in Iran) and the Imam Ali Square has been again the ultimate highlight of my Iran Tour. When you walk across this square you can easily dive within your phantasy into the past and imagine but even almost feeel what role each single part of this monument did play ... Breathtaking, Magic, Thrilling, one of the few ultimate sights I recommend everyone having seen or "experienced!" at least once in his lifetime!

Atiq square, Imam Ali, Qiyam ex, Sabzeh old square and very old old square It was built a few years ago by freeing up lands that were mostly converted into shops But it's a pity that it doesn't have a good design, not good and quality urban furniture, not even an acceptable plan and road construction. It was supposed to be a field equal to Naqsh Jahan field, but it is not even a little bit of its quality A soulless and low-quality field without any attraction In the end, it can be said that when we go there, we feel like we have come to Afghanistan

Imam Ali Square is one of the historical squares of Isfahan that has a unique architecture and design.Good to know the name of this square is often known as Sabzeh Maidan. In Sabzeh Maidan market, you can find and buy any equipment. There is a large home appliance market near this square, which is often crowded. In Sabzeh Maidan, you can visit and buy Isfahan souvenirs, such as Gaz and sweets. This square includes an underpass and a multi-storey parking with a relatively trapezoidal flat structure that connects the Isfahan Grand Mosque to the Haruniyeh building on the one hand, and the Kasegaran School and the Isfahan Grand Bazaar on the other.

Originally name Meydan-atiq or the old square or meydan kohne, is a smaller yet older version of naqsh-e-jahan square. Finding parking is not very fun specially with freeways underneath the surface. It's not as beautiful as the bigger square, but it is a delight for who wants to know more about history and the Jewish dominant culture of the bazaar in older times.

Very dangerous market in Esfahan, it is old markets but most of them are after tourists, last month, we saw there was a couple that didn’t buy a purse from one of the small shops because the sailor was very rude and mean we think because he tries to sale them a trashy purse but they bought from another store. Ten minutes later one of the other stores sailor stopped them and started to beat the man and no one came to stop him. Also two other men cam up and started to push the couple 😔😔 We tried to go but other stores didn’t let us 😔 we left the Esfahan a day after and never ever going back to that city. Do not expend your money and time with your family if you decide to go to Esfahan in this Bazar or Market. It’s NOT SAFE at all do not trust your guides. Very rude and mean people, as soon as they see tourists and you not buy from them you are their enemy, go other cities or Islands. Please take my advice before it’s become late if you go to that city.
