Hamam is important part of the Iranian History. Infact, till 80's Hamams were remain functionals in all over parts of Iran where Iranian Males & Females used to take bath. Still, few are functional. Ali Gholi Hammam was renovated to give an idea to foreigners that how iranian people used to take bath in Hamams. Wax Statues are fixed here. So, it's a nice place to visit but if you want to really enjoy the experience of taking bath in hamam in iranian style then try to find one and take bath in it.

It's a public bath dating back approximately 400 years. It was founded by Ali Gholi Agha, a nobleman in the Safavid Dynastry. There used to be two buildings, one public and one private. Later, one was dedicated to men and another to women. They merged the two into one during the Pahlavi kingdom. It has undergone a poor renovation during (I think) the Pahlavi kingdom. It's a nice, fun piece of history!
