I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know going to Portugal. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The hotel itself is breath-taking with a very beautiful interior. I had a nice view from my room that shows the pool and the spectacular nature of Portugal. The room service was exceptional as everything was done to perfection. The food at the hotel is delicious, I enjoyed the breakfast and had it every day during my stay. I also had dinner (Roasted chicken) at the hotel made by their Chef Natalia and it was so delightful. They also offer a wide range of wines and alcoholic beverages to enjoy. I would like to sincerely thank everyone at this hotel starting from Iva that welcomed me at her hotel like a dear family member to the whole staff starting from Barbara that was so sweet and attentive of me and Paulo, Claudia, Alzira, Natalia and Catia. I had a short stay, but they were warm people with a lot to give and I consider them great friends of mine now.

The hotel is gorgeous, set in idyllic countryside surroundings. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating even in the difficult post covid circumstances. A phenomenal place to stay out in the countryside only 30-40min from Porto centre.

Highly recommended villa. We booked the entire hotel as a self service villa. The villa is nicely finished, with nice features. The rooms although not very big, were very comfortable, and the matresses/bed were great. The rest of the villa had great common areas/games room, well equipped kitchen and a nice garden. Iva was extremely welcoming and ensured that we were well looked after. She gave us the local wine and port made by her family, and organised fresh crossiants and bread to be delivered early morning daily to us. She also helped organise alot of activities and taxi transfers for us. Amazing service and highly recommended! A+++

Eva was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome 😊 She went above and beyond to make sure there were great vegan and vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. We miss you already!

Tranquil setting among the vines and fruit trees. Warmest welcome I have got from Iva and her team. This family owned and operated small 10 bedroom boutique hotel has everything from amazing breakfast to swimming pool to beautiful big beds with soft linens to tasty snacks throughout the day. Each night we were referred to best restaurants with Fernande at the wheel. A local taxi that ferried us to and from an amazing tapas restaurant and wine bar. We had most amazing 2 nights here. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful hotel.

Dieser Ort ist einfach bezaubernd. Das Hotel ist Teil unserer Pauschalreise weswegen wir zwar mit einem ordentlichen Hotel aber nicht mit so einem warmherzigen Hotel gerechnet hatten. Das Personal ist nicht nur freundlich und zuvorkommend sondern wirklich am Wohlbefinden des Gastes interessiert. Es ist die perfekte Mischung zwischen zurückhaltender Freundlichkeit und das Gefühl unter Freunden zu sein. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und wenn auch nur für den Schokokuchen am Morgen ;) Wir können es nur herzlichst empfehlen und vielen Dank an das Team vom Solar Egas Moniz!
