Mega loft, more like mega disappointed. The ecstatic of the place is really nice. Each floor is decorated differently and offers a wide array of photo opportunities. The food however did not live up to the vibrant atmosphere. The couscous salad was a huge let down. Needed more flavour, at the very minimum more salt. The chicken burger was mediocre. Carrots and cucumbers on a chicken burger is very odd. The French fries were the star of the show. Wonderful service and cool vibe but not worth spending money on food. I rate the food 1.5/5

Super cool place in Essaouira for dinner. They have daily live music (need to pre book if you want to be on same floor as the band). Food menu is not very big but what we ordered was excellent quality! The burger and the lamb, both super size and quality!!! Very well presented, is not cheapest place either. It would be great to enjoy the lamb with a glass of wine, but unfortunately as majority of restaurants, they have no alcohol :( Their juices are served in a very big glass, we saw them passing. Definitely it was worth for us for a real big dinner!

Very slow service it took 2 hours for them to serve our food. How long does it take to make chicken burger and chips. I enquired numerous times when is our food coming and staff would respond with lies with lies. If only the staff was honest in the first place my dinner would not have been ruined. I would not recommend anyone to eat here. I ended up eating the food back in my apartment. Food did not taste good.

I LOVE this place! We found out about this place just by walking on the street and noticing a nice interior from their window and we decided to get inside. Right away they greeted us very nicely and we continue to go on the 2nd floor. We didnt expect that they had live music with a local band! The bend itself wore some national costumes and they did some national dance too! Then after drinks we ordered the food. I tought i will had just the regular salty pancakes, and i got the best salty pancakes i have ever tried! The minced meat mixed with the spices makes this dish very tastful. After that i tried the sweet crepes with nutella, almond and caramel. Still great! Overall, prices, interior, staff, music is just amazing! Dont you dare to miss this place on your visit to Essaouira.

It to expensive just because it looks beautiful and you have rooftop with nice view. Waiter didn't come for a long time so we had to go down to him to make order. He also didn't speak any English. We ordered some melted cheese for starters and then burgers. It was not so good really. I ate better burgers in essaouira for half of that price. But yeah if you want to have some amazing story from rooftop, enjoy nice and cozy place and have some mediocre food you can visit it. Or maybe better just go in the nighttime for a drink

The food is great, the burger is very juicy and the fries are perfectly done. The ambiance is great also, 2 floors + the rooftop, the only issue (in my case) is that while there is a dj playing lounge music on the rooftop, and from time to time a trio puts on a show with traditional marroqui music in the 2nd floor at the same time, it is very loud (you can hear from the street), so regardless where you sit (1st, 2nd, rooftop) you will be part of the show, and maintaining a conversation will be pretty hard. People in wheelchairs or limited mobility wont be able to access the restaurant because it has lots of stairs, this is not a complaint just a heads up.

The mocktails were amazing and the vibes were just wow. But pay attention if you sit in the rooftop chairs as our clothes were full of rust from chairs (Dear megaloft team please pay attention to this matter as our clothes are rusted and can’t be cleaned).

Really nice place. The decor was fully made with instagram in mind. You will want to take pictures at everything! They have typical Gnawa musicians at night. They were great and really made my night! The food is delicious and service is great.

The good: gorgeous inside, perfect place for an Instagram photoshoot if you're into that. Every floor has surprising decorations. The bad: we came on a Sunday around 12.30pm and we almost got sent away as the kitchen wasn't ready. In the end they told us to go upstairs. We waited for quite a long time without menus. Then we spotted another table who went to grab their own menus from a central table (because they had been waiting a while too) so we finally were able to decide on what to order. Service was very slow, some people left without ordering. Our ice tea was a bit disappointing. The veggie food we ordered was beautifully presented, but the taste was not amazing. Our rice was cold. The prices are higher than other places. A woman was smoking not far from us, indoors - isn't that illegal? No one told her to stop. Happy we went because we took many photos and there is a view on the street below, but we wouldn't go back.

The restaurant is beautifully designed, a one-of-a-kind design, the staff was very nice, the food was excellent, except for the fish, which was made from a salty crepe with egg and mille-feille cheese, eggplant and quinoa salad, which were excellent

It's wonderful place to visit in Essaouira. The atmosphere is nice and the decoration is really thought of. They had live Gnaoua music when we went and it was absolutely delightful. There aren't many choices when it comes to food, but what we ordered was quite delicious especially the chicken curry. The service was impeccable and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend the place.

One of the best places I have visited in Essaouira! The staff is very friendly and professional, the design of the place is very nice and well done, the food is so good and the prices are right. I have eaten here several times and have always been happy with my food and especially my dessert. If you are in the Essaouira area, you must have this place on your list.

A diamond in the ruff, to say the least. Make sure if you are in Essaouira, you take some time to walk the old Medina and visit the Mega Loft. Great place to grab a bite and take in some great views and vintage deco on every floor. Bring your imagination and your appetite they will both find a home at the Mega Loft.

Super nice ambience, if you wanna a proof please see attached pictures. :) Nice chill house music playing in the background. In addition some traditional live music from Marocco was played as well during the evening. We did really appreciate it. The food was good, we had the „burger by loft“. Not the best we ever had but still it was good tasting. Crèpes look delicious even though we did not enjoy them by ourselves. Next time we will for sure. Bottom line nice restaurant we would recommend to visit at least once during your Essaouira holidays.

Excellent food and ambient!! One of the rare places where you can get beer or tasty local wine. The stuff was very friendly!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Every floor is beautifully decorated, we took a few mins taking pics on each one. The rooftop is amazing, so many cool hangout spots. One of few places you can order alcohol. Food was a bit expensive to the things around us (60-80MAD for most dishes) and was okay. But atmosphere were fantastic.

This was a great place for our lunch. The view is one of the best in the town. The manager / barman (I didn’t catch his name) gave us some incredible insights into Moroccan music and wine. He was a brilliant person. The food was also very nicely done.

Super neat and creative location with a rooftop bar and incredible view. Great food, music, drinks, and service!
