Our first meal in Morocco and we were super happy with the friendly service and tasty food. Waiting for a seat outside was worth it and they really made the effort and looked after us to ensure we got a seat of our preference. I forgot something at the table and returned some hours later and they had it waiting for me and knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned it. Very kind! Thank you!

Extremely delicious and a very good insider recommendation from our Riad (la fontaine bleue) employee! The service was superb and the ladies have been very funny and looked very satisfied. The restaurant is also very easy to find which is between the two main "shopping" streets. We really enjoyed it!...particularly the fish tajin! Finally a different tajin (other than the usual ones that every restaurant in Morocco offers). Thanks very much for the dinner!

I only had the eggplant which was good but my friend had skewers and mozzarella salad which looked quite bland and boring. Presentation wasn't impressive. The location is ok. I figured it was called tolerance for dealing with the vendors and performers that pass by all day😅. However, the staff is kind and attentive and you're kinda in the middle of it so it's good people watching.

Honestly ...was simply delicious!! Beef tagine incredible and chicken Pastilla were so fresh and moist! The prices were super affordable and the atmosphere was just like out of a movie. Minstrels walking by , candles going and locals greeting each other. ... So worth the stop!

Ordered several different meals... Chicken pastilla with almond Spaghetti bolognese Chicken skewer with ras el hamout Chicken tagine with olive and preserved lemon While we waited for our food to be made, was given some complimentary olives and bread to eat. The food itself when it arrived was just so tasteless except the Spaghetti bolognese which was alright. The chicken skewers were so bland, chicken tagine had no salt or seasoning at all and the chicken pastilla just tasted of cinnamon. One of the worst eating out experiences in a while food wise. The highlight of the evening was the complimentary mint tea we got after the meals, which says it all. Like I always say that everyone's taste buds differ. Basically walked in to the place hungry and walked out hungry.

Excellent food in an authentic, clean, relaxed and quiet setting: I had the grilled catch of the day, accompanied by a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables and rice. All ingredients were freshly prepared and sublimely spiced. The multilingual lovely waitress was attentive and professional. Highly recommended!

A large group I was traveling with celebrated a birthday here. The food was amazing and the service was top notch! We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day too! I had the vegetable tagine both days and it was very tasty.

This restaurant deserves more stars! We went to the port and bought a 3kg lobster and 1kg swordfish meat. They offered to cook it for us the way we like it and it came out amazing. My friends ordered the seafood pastilla, seared tuna, and more from their menu and it all taste amazing! The restaurant is clean, the staff is extremely attentive, and the chef is very considerate to our demands. Thank you for offering to cook our lobster and for the excellent service.

First meal at Essaouria .. spot on food. The stuffed sardine was brilliant in taste & presentation. The seafood pastille was stunning with the variety of seafood stuffing really enjoyable. Location is super cool giving you a great vibe of the area. 10/10 for the whole experience.

Our Agadir friends suggested and we wanted to try. Popular among foreigners. We had Tagine and Pastia. Not that great. I tend to compare my mother in law's Moroccan dishes to others now. May not be fair but this is how it goes from now on. Fish Tagine had not much taste with too much tomato paste. I will be back to give it another chance. BTW.. tourists get better service than locals here ( my wife is Moroccan and I am East Indian and people think I am Moroccan as well when I don't speak)

I had the chicken couscous, which was OK. Quite bland for my taste. Could do with a bit of livening up. Just throwing a drumstick in the middle was not great. Overall, it was good just not great.

It's great service and the pastilla was delicious, however there are cheaper local places that are just as delicious in my opinion. It is great for the ambience though.

We had a great time at this lovely restaurant. Good quality food and very friendly staff! They offer Moroccan specialities as well as sea food and pasta for the kids 😉 We tried the warm goat cheese salad as well as a sea food Pastilla and a chicken & almond Pastilla. Was my first time having a Pastilla in Morocco and i really enjoyed the flavour!!! The Pastilla with chicken & almonds is sweet due to the honey, but i can recommend it to anyone!

A really lovely restaurant right by where we stayed. The staff are super friendly and kind. Their vegetable tajine and zaalouk are delicious. It’s super affordable and perfect for a great vegan and gluten free meal. Highly recommend stopping by for a meal and trying authentic Moroccan food.
