My husband and I had dinner at La Table a couple nights ago. It was by far our favorite meal while visiting Essaouira. The setting is beautiful, details such as dishes, candles, serving pieces are elegant and colorful. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Ali was wonderful. Wine was excellent and food was spectacular. It was also served hot, which we very much appreciated. We were surprised by a lovely amuse bouche, and highly recommend the roasted eggplant and tomato appetizer, linguine with clams and the sea bream baked in salt. Rolls were great too. Fun for a romantic and delicious evening.

If you like your food, the this is the place for you! This place offers great dishes with fantastic fresh produce. And if you want to try a bit of everything the tasting platters for the starter and dessert give you that opportunity. The service and setting were great too. A unique experience

Fish of the day was very fresh and well cooked, and we enjoyed the tuna carpaccio. Clam pasta was not good. They seem understaffed and unfortunately this reflected in the service, 3-4 stars

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Essaouira both for the food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere, which is elegant-Moroccan and not touristy-Moroccan. Definitely try the spider crab gratén and consider having the oysters too, which are very fresh. Friendly staff, including the French owner who welcomed us the two times we went there. Good price-quality ratio.

Everything about this place was great. We walked in and the vibes were excellent. There was a man playing acoustic guitar & a dancer who performed intermittently throughout the meal. The decor was lovely, fine dining chic. The food was great, steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. The bill came to just over 1100dh between 3, which is on the pricier side for restaurants in Essaouira but more than worth it for La Table.

One of the best restaurant we have dined in many years. People are so warm and welcoming and really doing their best to please the customers. The food is out of this world, delicious and so well presented. The modern Moroccan decor is classy and super cool too. The ambiance with the guitarist background completes this wonderful experience. Prices are very reasonable for such amazing food and service. We will definitely come back and highly recommend

What a fabulous room! Very creative menu and beautifully presented dishes at a reasonably price. Attentive and friendly staff made for a wonderful evening.

We read our old Lonely Planet which said his was the best place in town but the service could do with a polish. It seems the polish has been well applied since the book was published. Definitely top notch in terms of service, wine, comfort and food. Nice to have an unobtrusive musician giving some ambience too. We had one fish dish which was slightly overdone and it was swiftly replaced without question and perfection the second time. I can see why LP rated it best in town.

We really enjoyed our dinner here . The crab entre and sea bass in salt for main are the two winners . Great service , posh vibe .

Atmosphere : 10/10 Service : 9/10 ( 10 being perfection there are little details that only a professional would notice, so I am being harsh) Food : 7/10 - It is a little bland. The appetiser they offer is really nothing special for example and the bread is not great . The food is not bad, it is just not amazing. I expected better. Price : well for Morocco it is an expensive evening but it is also a special place and you could easily find other restaurants with the same prices but with much much lower value for your money . The total should be a 8.5/10 but truly this was a beautiful evening. Overall with the atmosphere and the incredible guitarist playing and singing while we were having dinner ended up being a moment to cherish and remember for a long time . Forget my rating for the food and the cost of the evening. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. It is very special and overall for us it would be one of the highlight of our holiday. This is not just a dinner, it is an evening , it is an experience . Must visit in Essaouira.

Amazing fish appetizers and fish dishes. We got two different appetizers and meals and all of them were greatly done. Staff were courteous and attentive, carefully accommodating to food allergies. Food took a while to arrive but probably because it was a full house! Worth waiting.

The best place to eat seafood in Essaouria! Boutique style make this restaurant very special. I really appreciate its design: modern but softly connected with local history and culture. The service was at very high level: kind, 100% professional and taking care about every detail. And the most important: the food - fresh, delicious and well prepared. If you would like to spend very nice evening with live music, perfect food Madada will be the best place. This place is worthy its price.

Excellent friendly service with great food in a really amazingly decorated venue! Different staff members dropped our table to chat and offered suggestions for things to do during our stay. Musicians played really good background music at a reasonable level to allow for normal conversations. Phenomenal value for a delicious meal with drinks. Very pleasant dining experience.

La Table by Madada is the most stylish restaurant in Essaouira. It is so chic, that our presence caused La Table to sit us separately from the good looking diners. The ugly Americans were relegated to Purgatory, and our table was far from the maddening crowd. The kitchen produced food of varying quality. My Crab Gratin was delicious, but fresh fish was pleasant, but unmemorable. Service by the charming young woman, oozing with Moroccan kindness, made up for the bad table. A musician strummed a guitar and sang in the background, adding to the allure of La Table by Madada. The final bill was surprisingly reasonable, and the gestalt of La Table would encourage a return.

We are here having the most delicious meal and savouring every mouthful. For me Spider Crab Gratin and for Terry a seafood Tagine washed down with a local wine. The most amazing ambience too! Truly amazing!
